“Some of the best desi kabobs we’ve had in the Dallas area. Everything was great quality and portions were large. Seating inside is limited and nothing fancy. Only thing I’d add is a sweet chutney like a imli style to pair with some of the kabobs. Definitely visiting often. Oh and it’s right next door to a masjid which is convenient.“

“I am a Huge fan of this bbq place and today was a bit of bummer because they were all out of the pork and I had ordered a pork sandwich and 1lbs pork chuck wagon … so I was a bit bummed. But I changed it to the chicken and the brisket sandwich and WOW! I had forgotten that absolutely EVERYTHING is absolutely DELICIOUS at this place!!! One cannot stay mad at this place for long. Because wow! DELICIOUS is an understatement!!!! So yes get the pork, becuase they are literally the best!!! .. But try their chicken and brisket. I’m glad I have leftovers because when I tell you these are the best you will ever have … I mean it! … and yes hands down the BEST French fries in the metroplex! … and we always go for the spicy BBQ sauce, because we love it. But today they sent me both the original and the spicy and wow! Those flavors are unmatched! Absolutely DELICIOUS EVERYTHING!!!! 1000 out of 10!!! We highly HIGHLY recommend this place!“

“In February of 2018 when TexRail opened up for business. My wife and I on decided to Ride the Train. We got off in Grapevine and A.J.s on Main was open so we went in. AJ and I kind of hit it off both being Service Vets from the same era. Hard to believe its been nearly 6 years ago now. “Turning Point is one of our favorite breweries in the DFW area and we make it a point to to stop in anytime we are in the area visiting family. Having visited breweries across the US, one thing that is usually lacking in quality 99% of the time is food. I am not sure how long Godspeed has been serving up their delicious BBQ at Turning Point but the brewery should do everything they can to retain them. Godspeed has some of THE BEST brisket I have ever had in my life. It was melt in your mouth good and the bark was perfection. They have bbq sauce available but this is one of those times you should let the meat speak for itself and savor the flavor of it on its own before you douse it in sauce. I promise you will thank me later for this. Also, the beans were FANTASTIC!!! I can understand if y’all don’t want to share the recipe but they were some of the best beans I have ever had! We were hoping to find some fantastic BBQ on our visit and decided to end our at at Turning Point. Who knew we would find some of the best BBQ we have ever had in our entire lives??? The family that runs it is super friendly too. Shout out to the owner’s Dad who was so kind and generous with his time chatting us up! “I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“My brother and I had the most spiciest chicken available. Being Korean, we were afraid of a more western spice level, aka low to nothing. We were thrilled to discover their spiciest option does have a decent kick!

Definitely worth the drive from UNT to here. The staff were very attentive and filled our water glass whenever we chugged it.“

“First time trying this restaurant and ordered it Togo with uncooked noodles to boil at home and it tasted amazing. Only downside is that I wished they clean the Dino Ribs better because the amount of times I took a bite of the food and soup, I get pieces of tiny bones stuck on my teeth and became unenjoyable at the point where drinking down the soup didn’t happen to be the best part of the dish. If they can fix that small mistake to double boil or clean thoroughly of the ribs or not boil them to long where it’s literally disintegrating, the dish would’ve been 5/5.
Overall, regular spicy is excellent for someone that can eat jalapeños regularly. Going to try extra spicy next time

“I love this restaurant/gas station. They have a wide variety of items, food, lots of wines, in-house BBQ, and more. I only gave the (produce) food two stars because it was always excellent.., until the cantaloupe gave me food poisoning. It may have been a fluke but, sadly, I can’t recommend the fruit for this reason. I have not had any such issues with the actual restaurant side of the business, only the packaged fruit.“
