“We had lunch here. I ordered the Fish and Chips and substituted a salad for the chips. The salad was fantastic! Avocado, almonds, cherry tomatoes all in a delicious citrus vinaigrette. My son had the French dip sandwich, which came on a specialty bread, and was served like sliders with a jus. It is a blend of sirloin and prime rib. He said it was awesome! The server was friendly and took the time to describe the food and answer our questions. We would definitely return.“
“Yet another Lewisville hidden gem!! If you love barbecue, you must try this place out, everything was so delicious! We got the corn and mac and cheese as our sides and they were top tier, I highly recommend. I also got the pulled pork sandwich, the meat was stacked high and was tender. When we got there, a man was playing live music and it really added to the vibes. Lastly if you come on a friday or saturday they give you a free cinnamon roll with your meal if you dine in. This was a 5/5 experience and we will be back!“
“Always a must go when in Grapevine. Our clothes smelled like smoke afterwards but we did not mind! We got a half pound of brisket and a half pound of pulled pork. Split a baked potato and an ear of corn. We also got two desserts. The pecan pie and a cherry cobbler. All delicious“
“Hands down the best greens at any restaurant, and I don't really like greens. I had the baked potato stuffed with chopped brisket. EXCELLENT! The meat tasted like it had been smoked overnight and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely revisit this place. Amazing family atmosphere. They make you feel like you're at home.“
“Brisket was Amazing! Ribeye was tender and juicy and so flavorful! Only downside was the lack of sides were out of lids for side containers so no jalapeño cheese corn or macaroni was available…also 3/4$ for a small side is a little high in my opion but overall was very filling and the atmosphere was great!“
“Folks better put some respect on Roy Hutchins name. Great food, great service, and outstanding atmosphere/ambience. Dining in makes it all worth the trip. Must tries…the Texas Twinkie and the fried okra. Fried okra isn’t overly breaded, and the Texas Twinkie is just divine. Will definitely go back again.“
“My friends and I went to TX for a business trip, 5 of us went to eat here and ohhh yummy yummy. I had the BBQ pulled pork and fries. Hands down the best ever. My friends absolutely loved their meals too. <3 everyone was so friendly. “
“We decided we wanted BBQ served at our reception dinner following our wedding and we are so happy we went with Patriotic Pig. They served brisket, sausage, and smoked chicken breast with mac&cheese, burnt-end beans, bacon green beans, bacon ranch potato salad, and coleslaw. All the food was delicious and all the guests were raving about the food.We also had appetizers served during cocktail hour. They served street tacos, brisket and pulled pork sliders, and Texas tater skins, all were a big hit with us and our guests! It was the perfect amount of food to keep our guests happy until dinner was served. We also opted for a dessert bar that featured Uncle Willie's pies which were absolutely delicious. My husband and I had a sampling of the pies for breakfast the day after our wedding and they were absolutely delicious!“
“The restaurant is clean and bright with fast, friendly service. The food was delicious. I wish I would have gotten a picture but I was too busy enjoying the meal. I ordered the lean brisket pho and was pleased to see that they offer a kids pho portion. My 5 year old loves pho and this was the perfect serving size. We also ordered the chicken bahn mi. It was super flavorful! Would definitely recommend checking this place out.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kids portion of pho which I’ve never seen at a pho restaurant before.“
“Everything is homemade. Even the bread and pickles are homemade from my understanding. Our favorites for meat are burnt ends and pulled pork. For sides, our favorites are Elote Corn, Onion Rings, and everyone's favorite Mac n Cheese. We saw the chef there today.“
“First time visitor and the food was fantastic. Brisket was tender and flavorful, ribs were tender and bbq sauce reminds me of KC. The only downside was I didn't like the jalapeño cheese sausage. appeared to be big chunks of cheese.it did not reheat well and greasy. It is outside so be prepared to stand in line. I will definitely add it to my list of acceptable bbq places.“
“Fat Cow closed their doors to host 65 collegiate synchronized swimmers, coaches, and parents from the University of Incarnate Word, San Antonio Texas. We were there celebrating UIW taking NCAA D1 championship. The owners, husband and wife, running an amazing business. They single-handedly prepared and served the food. The beef brisket, pulled chicken and beef sausage were delicious. The sides of mac & cheese, potato salad, and baked beans were equally as great and the buns oh so delicious. The food was very tasty. The servings were generous. An incredible value for this homemade authentic Texas BBQ! The restaurant is spacious with great natural lighting from the multitude of large windows. We are so grateful as to how easy it was to arrange this event, and how accommodating the owners were. Diners and corporate events will be impressed! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!“
“2nd time here and will be coming more! The prices are great, the food is great and the people are really nice. I was eyeing the cookies and one of the employees even let me try their pecan sandy cookie and it had the right amount of sweetness ??“
“Their meat stands alone, which, for BBQ in Texas, is not something you find very frequently. (Most places I've visited as a BBQ lover, they hide the dryness of their meat with sauce.) The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the employees are good-hearted people.“
“This was our first time eating here. We stopped in around lunch and were greeted with a relaxed atmosphere and big smiles from the staff. I had the Beck's Mac Bowl and my son had the Andrew. We took home the bourbon smoked cheesecake to share. Everything was delicious!! Definitely going to eat here again.“
“Selecting the family meal option for takeout proved to be a convenient choice! I appreciated the ease of ordering without having to enter the establishment. My experience was enhanced by prompt service and flavorful food! Love their rolls and cinnamon butter.“
“Not Just Q catered our daughter's wedding this weekend in Burleson, TX. Katie, the catering and events manager, was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. Even though Not Just Q had a very large event scheduled immediately prior to the wedding, our food arrived on time and piping hot; it was excellent. Everyone enjoyed the tender brisket and pulled pork, and raved about the perfectly spicy pit beans and corn. Their barbeque sauce is amazing. I hope to hire their food truck for business events in the future. We highly recommend Not Just Q!“
“After an absolute disappointment at a well-known and high-priced steakhouse in the Stockyards, I had a really good sirloin steak there. It was perfectly prepared and tasted great. I was even able to choose the steak in the refrigerated counter beforehand. The service was also exceptionally good. An absolute recommendation!!!“
“Very small place with a big heart. While you may have to tip your head into the kitchen to get attention, the food is top-notch. There's African music in the background, sports on the TVs, a full-service bar, and a nice, comfortable seating area of tables and booths. We'll be going back for more. Between our three diners we had sambusas to start, then lamb kabob dinner, chicken kabob dinner, and beef stew. The spinach is amazing, the fou fou outstanding, and don't miss their dessert - it's kind of a bread/biscuit/not too sweet an ending. The waitress will explain anything you don't know about or have questions on. Great eating. Be careful: we all ate too much!“
“Excellent BBQ with fried catfish for Lent. I forgot to ask if catfish was year round.... Nicest staff with natural smiles, we had fun talking to them. We asked for suggestions and took his advice, it was excellent brisket and ribs on my 2 meat plate. Very clean establishment. We'll be back for more !!!!“
“Food is excellent and staff is friendly.. I really like this place. The pulled pork isn't soaked in sugar so you can actually taste how flavorful the pork is. The brisket is really good as well, has great bark. Lastly, you've got to get the cobbler.. just do “
“This was the first time that my family and I have been here (we’re from out of town) and it was an AMAZING experience!! The food was great, ESPECIALLY THE MAC AND CHEESE I’ll be dreaming of it ?and everyone was super nice, hospitable and friendly ??✨ Definitely recommended if you’re driving thru or in general ?“
“I wasn't prepared to like this place but it turned out to be pretty decent after all.We went with some friends from church here and it is a great place for a hungry church crowd. You go through a buffet style liner and pick out what you want. I ordered the Stuffer which was a baked potato loaded with chopped brisket. They definitely loaded it up and it was almost more than I could eat. I enjoyed it and it paired well with some great sweet tea. The brisket probably won't win any awards but it's better than most places like this.I would definitely go back but it's not a place I would put on my foodie list.“
“Every last Tuesday of each month Soulman's BBQ is celebrating their 50th anniversary by offering a special deal that day only. This is a dine-in special valid at all locations. I visited the Hurst location and today's anniversary deal is a chopped beef sandwich with 2 sides for $3.99. Only the first 74 customers ('74 is the year they started) can get this deal. I called the Hurst location around 2:30, to see if the deal was still available. I was told there were about 30 deals left, I went and claimed mine at 3:30. My wife didn't want this offering, she only wanted a order of 2 add-on ribs. They actually gave her 3 and one was a burnt end. I feel like this is a great deal, especially since the food all tastes good. Here's my $3.99 deal, I did add the cheese myself, I got fried cabbage and Texas cream style corn as sides. The spicy BBQ sauce is actually spicy and the cream corn has a little kick.“
“I got a sausage plate with coleslaw and mac and cheese. The sausage was really good and I LOVE the bbq sauce!! The coleslaw was original and tasty. I got the mac and cheese based off other reviews on here, but I personally thought it was gross. It tasted like straight Velveeta to me. Still 5 stars for me, though! I will just try a different side next time!“
“The BBQ gods smiles on this day. We were driving and looking for a new place to try. I saw this place and even though it is a trailer on the side of the road the smell called to us. We tried the brisket, pork belly, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, brisket-biscut, and peach cobbler. Lets start with the negative. the baked beans were OK, but nothing i would do agian. I had high hopes for the potato salad and was a little let down but it was ok. the place is a little hard to find and there are no tables. However, that did not stop us from eating in our car since we were just traveling through. but if you are doing take-out you most likely don't care. With that out of the way . . . . . . . WOW. The brisket was outstanding juicy, moist, great color, good smoke ring, not super fatty but a good crust on the outside. the rub had a good spice but did not overpower the meat. The ribs were just as good, not "fall of the bone" but you don[t want that, you want a little bit of chew to the meat. They had a good smoke ring and great flavor. The brisket-biscut was crispy cloud stuffed with love. I am glad we only got one to try with our group because they are addicting. he peach cobbler was very good. not super sweet but a nice flavor. I saved the best for last. If you have never had smoked pork belly then you have no idea what you are missing this was outstanding with flavor that is making my mouth water as I type this. If I am am ever back in this area agian I am making a point to come back to this spot.“
“The BEST Korean bowls! Sally is a GEM ! She makes sure all is beyond great with a lovely and happy demeanor. The bowls are tasty, right temperature and crafted to perfection. The bowls themselves are adorable & keep the food warm till the last bite.“
“This has been my family's go to spot since 2016. Been going here ever since. Family friendly. I have two toddlers. Plenty of sitting. There's bottled drinks and fountain drinks. We always enjoy coming here. Highly recommend this place!!!Kid-friendliness: We always bring our toddlers with us. They sit and eat. I don't let my kids run around.Parking: There's plenty of open parking.“
“From the moment we walked, we were greeted by staff. The gentleman who served our food was very nice, after that we were greeted by the cashier guy and he as well was very nice. After eating for a while. A women came to greet us and asked if we needed anything else and that was so nice of her ! Later on a staff member offered use fresh bread. Definitely will be coming back! Love this location!!“
“Growing up in Arlington, Texas we frequently visited the original Spring Creek location. Yesterday was my grandfather’s 92 birthday and he wanted Spring Creek rolls and barbecue. This Keller location is the closest to them so we met there. Upon entering the facility was organized and clean. Going through the line was as easy as ever and the staff was friendly. The veggies and meats were just how I remembered them. They were fresh, moist, and that signature Spring Creek sauce! The manager at this location Tommy went out of his way to make my grandfather feel special. That was super appreciated by all of us! Definitely worth a stop here if you are in the area!Parking: Plenary of parking out frontKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids“
“Love it! Flavor and service. Gotta go come back for the dinner rolls... soooooo soft. Got to try 3 meats with 2 sides.Vegetarian options: Not on protein but a few sides, baked potatoes, mac and cheese, salads, corn and can add toppingsKid-friendliness: Colorful“
“Want to start off by saying the wait staff were excellent. Very attentative and friendly. Food came out quick with very little wait. The food was good, brisket was a bit dry but good flavor. Mac n cheese and Corn was good, but nothing crazy special. That said, when walking down the Riverwalk it is like the only restaurant without its tables full of families and people. The place is marketed as upscale BBQ, the closest I can think of competition wise would be Marty B's. But the biggest gripe with it is price. The out the door price with tip and no drink for the food in the picture is $36. They need to offer some kind of plate with a 1/2 lbs of meat and two sides in the $19-22 range like their competition. The clientele around the Riverwalk is young adults, families with young children and some retirement aged individuals. None of which will repeatedly pay that much per person for BBQ. And I suspect that's why it's tables were empty even though every single one at Under Dogs and Piehole are full. The happy hour prices for drinks and apps I think are very fair. But BBQ and meal prices need some work.“
“Ribs are amazing! Better than I can make at home. Make sure to get a couple. Jalepeno sausage is also great. Brisket was good and burnt ends (only available on Sat and Mon) could have been hotter (temp wise). Green beans were our preferred side. Very flavorful.“
