“Today after Meow Wolf and heading back to Oklahoma we found this gem for a late lunch. 💯 reccomend! We had Oysters Rockefeller, Nikko Tuna Tower, and Terriaki Salmon, then pressed coffee, every bit of our experience was spot on and everything was delicious!!”

“My husband and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary. We’d celebrated on the weekend but on the actual day, we were headed to the big Barnes and Noble at Southlake and wanted to eat. Both of use hungry for steak we pulled up the restaurants around BN and found Trulucks. We’d never been there before and decided to try it. I’m so glad we did. A truly classy, gorgeous place with great atmosphere. We had a table in the dining room and the one of the best wait help, Germane Cain, the at I believe we’ve ever experienced.
This gentleman was extremely educated in cuisine, and he could share his knowledge without seeming pretentious. In fact, had we met Mr. Cain under other circumstances I think we would have had a great conversation. As it was, he had to take care of his other tables but did so without our ever having to ask for anything. This would be a great place to take family or business people and be sure that you would not be embarrassed.
We had new wines due to the great advice, and new dishes such as broccolini. And at the finish he brought us a big platter with Happy Anniversary written on it in chocolate and a Baked Alaska. I’d seen these on TV but never had one. This absolutely transcended the boundaries of regular or even top-drawer dining, becoming an experience in culinary delight.
The location is fantastic; you can stuff yourself silly and then go walk it off in the bookstore. The food was prepared so well the steaks almost melted in our mouths. The parmesan potatoes were almost as rich as the dessert. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.”

Our server Lupita is super attentive and excel her service manners. The only thing I wish they do is add a drizzle of fresh olive oil on top of the hummus.”

We were able to try some of the sauces first to test the heat level. We had hot, blazing, bbq, hot honey (tasted more like Hawaiian to me), and spicy dill (with hot as a base). We had the honey and blazing bbq finished on the grill (carmelizing them).”

OMG!! My waitress Julia was à beautiful young lady as SWEET as could be. the food was great. To say it was Much better service & Atmosphere. I spoke with a manager Jimmy to tell him this way better than the last time. A big shout out to my waitress Julia. Thank you for your service. IF I had to change anything it would be Not to make the Sala so spicy hot.”

So hard to find a bread these days without all the chemical trash! GHBC has the simple 4 & 5 ingredient breads that Grandma used to bake. Also, great bonus system for getting free cookies or loaves of bread! Highly recommend!”

We had to ask for a couple specific pizzas to be brought to our table because they hadn't been offered while others were brought multiple times. 2. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.”

I recently even picked up some bowls to bring as a dessert to a small potluck and everyone was asking for details because the idea was such a hit. The staff is always friendly, smiling, and accommodating to all my wild requests 😇. The owner is the kind of person you would approach for help, if you were in public surrounded by strangers and in need of advice or assistance. Wonderful people, delicious treats, and perfect spot with indoor and outdoor seating and a youthful vibe.”

“If you want to eat mashed potatoes so good you ascend, and dessert so incredible you believe in magic. This restaurant is the place for you. We requested the warm butter cake even though it was off menu because our server recommended it, and when I tell you it’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten I mean it from the bottom of my heart.
