“Catering by Patriotic Pig for my wedding last Saturday was absolutely fantastic! The staff brought my new husband and I a plate directly to our table and the guests all loved the food! We got to have a private tasting before hand and all of the food was delicious. The staff was so friendly at our wedding and greeted every guest with a smile. If you are looking for BBQ for your wedding or special event look no further than Patriotic Pig! They also did full bussing service, cut our cake for us, and cleaned up at the end of the night! The amount of food you get is astronomical and so tender! Our favorite was the chicken, turkey, and pulled pork! The Mac and cheese along with green beans was so good! Thank you so much for being so professional and treating our guests with class and respect! 🤩”

“We stopped in because I thought online there was an event that night but I got venues confused. Still was a night place with decent service. I also thought they had bar food but they don't. They will let you order from the restaurant next door which is a Cajun or seafood of something like that place. Wasn't what I was interested in for bar food. Seems like a good local hangout.”

“I do recommend JJ's the food is tasty but....I walked in on a friday after work around 3:30..I always sit at the bar I was shocked to see the whole bar area was dirty and the floor was sticky! I'm a regular at this location on Tarrant Parkway and have always enjoyed the food and the margaritas....I almost turned around and walked out so disappointed! oh, one other thing, when I order food I always have to ask for silverware! I myself have worked in the food industry years ago, I do know the dirty dishes should be picked up when customers are done eating, this helps to keep the area clean even if you are busy which in this case the bar wouldn't be full of dirty dishes and I'm not exaggerating...it was the whole bar area!”

“I'm going to tell y'all about my favorite bbq joint, Back Forty Smokehouse, on Main, off Davis, in North Richland Hills. I've been going there a long time and most often, I call in an order to go, but I have also dined in. It's a very nice place and the staff is excellent. I almost always buy the manager's bbq special, their smallest family pack. For $45, you get your choice of meat (1 lb. of sliced, chopped, pork, or many more choices), 3 sides (1 pint each, beans, coleslaw, potato salad, okra, mac n cheese, fries, etc.), 5 Texas toast, pickles, onions, and choice of sauces. The sliced can be moist, lean, or mixed, they have some spicy bbq sauce available, the potato salad isn't sweet, the beans can be sweet baked beans or pintos with bacon, the coleslaw is rough cut and not sweet. These are all good attributes in my eyes. Maybe y'all will think I just don't know better but I'd put their stuff against anyone else's. The sliced is excellent, tender, smoked well, lean if you want it, more fatty if that's your deal. Went there today and got the $45 deal and once again, got enough for my wife and I to easily eat twice. You can fix 5 plates like the one in the photo. That's a regular sized dinner plate, with pintos, coleslaw, potato salad, onions, pickles and sliced brisket. I like a little sauce on mine”

“I can’t say enough positive things about Luv Crepes Cafe! We hosted my daughter’s 10th birthday party here and everything was perfect. From the planning stages where they suggested perfect kid approved drinks and treats, to the decor they provided, to the service we received during the party, I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. “We love everything about Jason's Deli. The NRH location is the newest for us to visit and close to home. We visited there on Sunday and the food was great as usual however, they have got to be courteous to their customers and not leave the overflowing stinky cleaning carts sitting in the sun near the tables. The smell at the back of the restaurant was awful so we had to move. There were a couple of mix ups with the order but they're new and learning so we get that and the staff were all friendly. Please make a spot away from the tables for the cleaning carts. We will return after they're more established.”

The waiter informed me that their special for the day was rainbow trout from Colorado. I decided to give it a try with grilled vegetables and a salad.

“First time visiting Soulman's BBQ in NRH, and it did not disappoint! I ordered the Double Barrel loaded baked potato topped with chopped beef brisket, and it was absolutely delicious. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and paired perfectly with all the loaded potato toppings. Their BBQ sauce was fantastic too — the perfect finishing touch. On top of the great food, the service was excellent from start to finish. Even got a warm welcome to my table from Remi who is just starting his management training. Will definitely be back!”

“Haven’t been to a Cristina’s in years and the shrimp tacos are still the best EVER! We always get the table side guacamole and frozen margaritas which were also as delicious as I remember. My boyfriend tried the mocajete tapatio tonight which was phenomenal. Service at this location tonight was great as well. On a Saturday night, we were seated quickly, our waitress was kind and quick, and the manager even checked on us during our meal. We are leaving absolutely stuffed and so sad we don’t live near a Cristina’s anymore, but trust me…we’ll always find our way back!”

“We had heard good things about this place and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious, the atmosphere more modern and the food was delicious! Definitely try the beef birria tacos! Our waitress, Carolyn, was phenomenal, gave us recommendations for our kids and we had a great dinner and time. Would definitely recommend and will be back with the quality of food and seemed like a great value as well. We went a little early on a Friday night to beat the rush, and it picked up quickly after we got there. Definitely the place to be and can see why! Thanks Carolyn!”

“It was empty when I went around 9a on a Sunday, so there was no wait. The lady at the counter greeted me as soon as I walked in. The store was clean and smelled like a bakery. The items were arranged neatly and labeled. Someone told me about the donut shop so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm satisfied with that decision. It's a nice shop and the donuts taste much better than the commercial donut shops like Shipley..yuck!, and Dunkin...boring taste, and Krispy Kreme...way too sweet.”

Atmosphere was ok, seeing as how it was busy enough that we had no privacy and could be overeard. My booth had a ripped seat.
Overall I would absolutely return, but just not wear a short skirt or dress. Who knows if they have time to clean the seats.
Again, I stress that the food was at a really great price and you get a decent amount of it. I had to take home my leftovers, and boy, were they delicious!!!
I ordered 3 of the carne asada street tacos.

The interaction with Cherise was so organic and pleasant didn't realize I was talking to the GM until I went to grab my straw😂. This place is buzzing with positive energy everytime I stop by. I was recommended a flavor by one of the workers that usually takes my order and I’ve been pleased with the drink. I’ve never been met with anything but the best personalities that will always bring a little joy to the day no matter how rough it may be. I do however have 2 favorite workers as they been feeding my unhealthy addiction to caffeine since this location opened. I wish I knew their names to personally thank them. 12/30-12/31 5am crew to narrow it down. Y’all guys rock and have made the past couple days start off great and keeping me alive while making this mornings drive up to OKC to catch my bus to my show tonight! I highly recommend this location as I’ve been to a few across the country and this is by far the best one.”
