“Moved to Texas a little over a year ago and we tried Cristina's today for the first time and it was delicious. Daniel our server was great. All his recommendations were delicious. We had the fiesta platter for an appetizer (the half). It gives you a little of basically everything and it was on point. We also had the steak and shrimp in the roasted poblano pepper and he absolutely loved it. I had the steak tacos on flour tortillas (their made fresh there) and it was delicious. Definitely will go back. The price was definitely right too.“

“I was greeted at the drive thru. The young man was really nice. The food was hot and fresh. The taco shells was fresh. This will be my location to go to instead of the on Beach Street close to me. They can teach the location on Beach Street alot of things. Great visit“

“Kudos to the young man who was working the front counter on my visit (March 1) around lunch time between 12 noon and 1. Normally you get rude or disrespectful looks front then workers at a fast food restaurant but I experienced the opposite. The rude and disgusting looks were from the customers I observed. The salsa bar was running low and had no forks. Instead of giving the young man a chance, they just whines about it and gave rude remarks. This young man was taking orders and restocking the salsa bar without having a dirty look. He even excused himself to go refill the toilet paper in the woman’s restroom from an inpatient customer who couldn’t wait for him to finish an order with another customer. He was even helping out in the drive thru. It’s a shame that most fast food employees get a bad rap and pay is horrible. This young man shouldn’t be included in such class as other fast food workers.“

This great Mexican cuisine comes top down from Lynn and Dave-awesome hardworking partners/owners who make sure you'll come back again and again- we have for several years now at least weekly. Parties/ events is another specialty for these folks- we hosted a very special family occasion there on the patio and will never forget it! Bonus: great live music on the patio most weekend nights. The manager this night was very attentive and had a wonderful energy. It was a busy night as usual for a Saturday , the wait for a table was long so we scouted out a bar area seating and found a group leaving. Our table was cleaned quickly with a friendly staff that didn’t make you feel a burden for needing a clean table. The food was great as always and the manger rotated around and asked how service was and was friendly enough to help his staff out to clear our table. Thanks for a great and stress free dinner.“

“I was given a gift çard to eat at this restaurant. I went there with dear friends of mine à few years ago & it was Terrible. last night Wednesday June, 21 2023. I decided to give them another try. OMG!! My waitress Julia was à beautiful young lady as SWEET as could be. the food was great. To say it was Much better service & Atmosphere. He makes people feel right at home he even makes them feel like they are back in their home country, especially those who have been away for a long time.

“We stayed for the weekend at the Gaylord Texan as an anniversary trip and our daughter and son in law met us for dinner at the Cantina, just because it's so convenient to eat on property. I was expecting it to be overpriced and underwhelming, but actually, the prices are about average for a more formal Mexican restaurant (as opposed to a small family owned neighborhood tacqueria) perhaps a few dollars more than some places, but not too much. And the food was really delicious, I had taquitos and they were very good. I wasn't even very hungry and didn't think I'd eat it all but I did and was miserably full afterwards, lol. The service was extremely friendly and timely. The atmosphere is of course, very fun in the big dome at the Texan. The salsa is very tasty but it is served warm for some reason and my husband didn't care for that. It's not available chilled. That's not good or bad just a preference. I ordered a coconut margarita and it was very good. For the hassle of having to leave the parking lot and drive into town, unless you have a really really special restaurant, I don't see that it's worth the extra effort, because unlike many reviews I've read I didn't find the prices to be outrageous and the quality was as good as most Mexican joints I've been to and better than many. Recommended if you are trying to have a relaxing stay with minimum hassles. The staff at this Bonvoy location was all outstanding and helpful and it was very refreshing to have my expectations exceeded instead of being disappointed as happens so often these days. I don't mind giving people my money but I'd like to get what I paid for at least, and I feel that we did.“
