The food is great and the service is chill for the fast dining experience that it is. The atmosphere in this location is cozy, but for some it might be a bit too cozy and borderline claustrophobic.

“I was in the area with a friend and our two small children, all four under 2. We stopped in for lunch and instead of being met with dread at the sight of our strollers, the welcoming hostess helped us in and gladly sat us. My toddler was hangry so the server took my child’s order and brought their food before I finished reviewing the menu. My toddler had the chicken enchilada, with rice and beans. My 7m old had the beans. I had the lunch picadillo tacos. It was all delicious but more importantly, the service far exceeded anything I anticipated. This exhausted momma sometimes needs a little help and grace, the staff at Muchacho was so gracious and accommodating. The hostess was friendly and helpful until the end, holding the door for us and welcoming us back. I will be back, without my babies next time. But I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.“

“Great food, great atmosphere, and they're willing to work with my Gluten intolerance. Unfortunately their gluten friendly menu is very small. There is about 5 dishes total in their "Guiltless Grill".

However they have no issues with me bringing in a Gluten Free burger bun and I just order one of their burgers without a bun. So if you're gluten intolerant like me and you don't mind assembling your burger a bit, it's a great place to eat at.

Or if you get in before 4 PM you can indulge in the Bottomless Soup, Salad, and Chips. Just be sure to get the baked potato as it's the only gluten free soup they got, and ask for no Croutons on your Salad.

Another option if you're doing the thee 3 for me deal, and you're not in the mood for burgers, is to order the Quesadilla plate and ask to exchange the flour Tortillas with cornflour Tortilla chips. Heck I'd recommend that even if you're not gluten intolerant.

“First time here and so glad we decided to try it. It was Sunday night so it not crowded. We got to pick where we wanted to sit. Our waiter, JD, could not have been more helpful & pleasant. He explained how they were modifying the menu some and looking for some feedback for some upcoming changes. Hubby had the Ensenada and literally devoured it. JD told him about the chili topping as an option so my husband went for it and loved it. “Best he’s ever had”…his words. The taco was perfectly crisp (only way he likes his tacos) and the flauta was light and tasty. He also went on about how good his Michelada was too. Whatever mix they use is perfect. Hubby rarely raves but tonight he did. I had the Spinach & Mushroom enchiladas but didn’t read they had sour cream sauce (not a fan) but the dish was really good. Next time I’ll check to see if I can change that. The Salas are all very good and flavorful. The beer is super cold with a touch of ice crystals! After our meal JD told us about their decision to offer charro beans and gave us a sample. I plan to order these every time…they are oh-so-good! It was the first time here but sure won’t be the last!

I have had their beef taco, chicken taco, shrimp taco, and tempura battered fish taco. They are all delicious in a crunchy corn shell but they have choices like flour or corn soft tortillas as well. The nachos and queso were also good. Frozen margaritas were very good and refreshing after a day in the heat. Everything was fresh and the restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. This is one of my favorite places in the area so far. I just moved here for work.

Kid-friendliness: This is a family restaurant and also has a bar in it. There’s plenty of room inside to sit that’s away from the bar area if this is a concern. I’ve seen families in there with kids multiple times.“

That said in the main dining area they removed these sort of booth surrounds and now it’s one big room with concrete floors and a metal ceiling and the decibel reading on a full Saturday night was averaging in the low seventies with frequent spikes in the 80s. For someone with some hearing issues it was pretty much impossible to carry a conversation or be confident the server heard my order. My suggestion is to sit out side of there is room if the weather is nice.
