“The experience and our servers Maria and Marco were top notch the food was so delicious and it didn’t took long for it to come out everything was so fresh. Our servers were really attentive and friendly and making sure we were good. Would definitely go back again.“
“Had Fajita Pete’s for the first time at a party on Saturday and ordered it for Sunday night dinner. That’s how good this place is. We did the beef and chicken fajitas for 4 with a side of queso, which is probably one of the best ones I’ve had. All of the components of the fajitas are good, the flour tortillas and the guacamole are standouts. Best fajitas in Colleyville.“
“Had a great experience at Mariano's while I was in Dallas for the weekend! I had no issues getting a parking spot and was promptly seated. My friend tried their margarita and said it was amazing- our waitress made a lot of great recommendations and seemed to appear right as we needed her. Food portions were huge- and I was shocked at how fast we got our food after ordering. This place is a well-oiled machine, ha-ha. Also really recommend the queso + salsa. They had two types of salsas, both were good and completely different from one another (think one being more watery/hot and the other more chunky and medium heat). Honestly can't say enough good things about this place, it had a good interior dining atmosphere and seemed to be managed incredibly well.“
“This is not your usual taco place! If you want a different take on familiar flavors, then this will be right up your alley. I'm a fan of the chips and queso and like the pork carnitas, the democrat, and their taco of the month, the vagabond. They're sold individually and one taco can be a meal all on its own. It can accommodate gluten free needs, but it can be hit or miss for me if I have a reaction after eating here. So, proceed with caution if you're celiac. My son is a fan of the trailer park trashy (NOT GF) and the hillbilly queso.“
“I ordered from Doordash, and that was a fiasco, so I would not recommend this if staying at a hotel (the dasher left my food outside). I was livid, to say the least, but when I dug in with my fingers (I got no utensils or napkins), the food was FANTASTIC! I have eaten tex mex in California and Mexico, and it was great, but Tommy Tamale is the absolute truth. I literally ate cheese, beans, and tamales with my hands because it was that good. I'm not upset anymore... I am full!“
“We've been here several times already. I ordered Tilapia Monte Fresca, which was grilled with a creamy sauce and shrimp on top. It was super delicious. The chili rellenos are good as well as fish or shrimp tacos. The bloody Mary's and Pina colada's are pretty good too.Parking: It's located in the shopping center with Tom Thumb so there's plenty of parking options.“
“Don’t let looks fool you. It only seats 16 people inside, but they have a patio and the food is AMAZING for an unbelievable price. Cheaper than fast food and you get a huge helping of delicious fare. Most folks order to go, but there’s also a market next door where you can buy their authentic creations.“
“Great food, affordable price, good service. The chips are the thicker ones, great for dipping or loading up nachos but I usually prefer the thin style. Definitely not a deal breaker. I would recommend it if you are in the area! Wife had enchiladas and I had fajita nachos.“
“Absolutely phenomenal experience at Esparza's! My daughter, her girlfriend, and I visited today, and it exceeded all expectations. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring our every need was met. The food? Absolutely mouthwatering! Each dish was bursting with flavor and let me tell you about the enchilada sauce - hands down the best I've ever tasted! We ordered two of the Brisket Enchiladas and Tacos Al Carbon. Delicious! To top it all off, the girls ordered margaritas and were thoroughly impressed. Esparza's has truly mastered the art of creating a welcoming atmosphere paired with outstanding cuisine. Five stars all the way!“
“So far this has been the best Mexican restaurant that we have experienced since moving from Arizona. Miguel our server made some great recommendations and was very attentive during our dinner.Table side guacamole, watermelon margarita and those fajitas! Amazing!“
“So we literally stumbled across this place while heading to the Cheese Cake Factory for brunch and I’m glad we stopped in. The restaurant had an inviting, rustic Texas flare. The staff was welcoming, helpful and attentive. The drinks were good and I loved the El Tigre. The food was prepared well and tasted good. Our brunch was good but I’d love to go back to sample the rest of their menu. Thus, we’ll gladly be going back.“
“"My husband and I used to frequent Gloria’s Latin Cuisine in Colleyville and loved it, so we decided to try the Southlake location. We went on a Saturday night and, as expected, there was a long wait due to the no reservations policy on weekends (reservations are only accepted Monday to Thursday). If you have a large group and plan to visit on a weekend, arrive early to secure a table. The food and drinks were amazing, and the prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants in Southlake. The ambiance was inviting, although parking near the restaurant was difficult; however, there was plenty of parking just a two-minute walk away near the REI store. We ordered the tostadas and aquachile verde both of which tasted incredibly fresh and delicious. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch, and they also offer a gluten-free menu."Dietary restrictions: They have a separate gluten free menu“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maria Del Mar, a hidden gem tucked away in Roanoke, Texas, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment my wife and I walked through the door, we were greeted with warm smiles and hospitality that made us feel right at home. One of the standout aspects of Maria Del Mar is the exceptional service provided by Mario and his team. Their friendly and attentive approach added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It's evident that they are passionate about what they do, and it truly reflects in the overall dining experience. One insider tip that I highly recommend: be sure to ask for their off-menu delights - the Habanero Sauce, Molcajete Salsa, and Toreado's. These hidden gems are not advertised, but they are absolutely worth trying. The Habanero Sauce packs a punch of flavor and heat, while the Molcajete Salsa adds a fresh, authentic touch to your meal. Toreado's, with its rich and smoky flavor, is another must-try. What sets Maria Del Mar apart from the typical Tex-Mex establishments is its commitment to freshness. The ingredients used in their dishes are clearly of high quality, and you can taste the difference in every bite. It's a refreshing departure from the ordinary Tex-Mex fare, and it's evident that the chefs take pride in crafting each dish with care. The margaritas and the incredible refried black beans at Maria Del Mar! These are two more reasons why this restaurant stands out. The margaritas at Maria Del Mar are nothing short of amazing. Whether you prefer them on the rocks or blended, they have the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Sipping on one of their margaritas adds an extra layer of enjoyment to your meal, making it a true fiesta for your taste buds. And let's not forget about the refried black beans. They are a hidden treasure in themselves. Creamy, flavorful, and with a delightful hint of smokiness, these beans are a must-try side dish. They perfectly complement the main dishes and add a richness that elevates your dining experience to another level. In conclusion, Maria Del Mar is a hidden treasure in Roanoke, Texas, offering a dining experience that goes beyond the ordinary. With welcoming hospitality, off-menu delights, and a dedication to fresh, flavorful cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to savor something special in the Tex-Mex scene. My wife and I will undoubtedly be returning to Maria Del Mar to explore more of their culinary delights and enjoy the warm atmosphere created by Mario and his team.“
“If you have not tried this place you are definitely missing out. Tried for the first time today and loved everything we ordered. Tex mex with a Laredo twist, but taste homemade and with love. From the margaritas to dessert this place hit all points. Don’t sleep on this restaurant. We will be back for sure! The service was amazing even the owner was on the floor and not hidden.“
“Mi Cocina exceeded all expectations! The ambiance was vibrant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a delectable variety of Mexican cuisine, each dish bursting with flavor. The attentive staff provided excellent service, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. Mi Cocina has secured its place as my favorite spot for delicious meals and exceptional service. Five stars without a doubt!“
“The best taco's I think I've had in my life, unbelievable. A little on the small size for the price, 2 taco's that should be bigger, beans and slightly overcooked rice for over $20. I'll definitely go again at some point but in a different state and see how they are there.“
“Had a family dinner here (11 of us, most couldn't make it). Bobby was fantastic! He was in control the whole time. Delivered the food to the right person, kept drink glasses filled, brought added items when asked, handled 4 separate checks correctly. Make him a manager. Our 2 meals were very good. Everyone else said good things about there's. The avocado enchilada was delicious.Kid-friendliness: My nephew brought his 3 little ones (1,3,5) and they were easily accommodated.“
“Stopped by because we were in the area and the brunch menu sounded interesting. Dishes we got were the tacos, quesadilla, BLT and churro french toast.I'll start with the chips and salsa. The chips were lightly salted, which I appreciate since almost nobody does that. The salsa was tasty and fresh. We also got some queso, which was amazing with the chips. Most everyone enjoyed their dishes well enough. The only odd one was the french toast. I loved the toast itself. Basically, french toast with corn flake crumbs on it, so it gets a little crunch. Nice. The beef I has was calling it churro french toast and there being no cinnamon or sugar on it. Instead the toast is piled up and a strawberry/cream cheese glaze put on top. Reviewing the menu after the fact, it does appear that the toast should have had cinnamon and sugar and that was apparently forgotten in my case. Shame, because it really would have made the dish. The server did offer more sauce when the toast was put in front of me, which was a nice gesture, though mostly unneeded, because it would have been a lot.“
“Waitress-worthy service at a fast-food restaurant?! Yes!! Drew helped me out of a jam today when I miscounted orders for our office and needed to go back. She made sure I got that Airstream salad quick fast and in a hurry! and even checked for utensils. The food here at the Southlake store is really good and the service is even better. Thank you for making my day!!“
“Well we only got a couple of margaritas and the guacamole appetizer but everything was very good. Unfortunately our waiters sort of forgot about us outside. As a vegan I have to say they probably have the best veggie fajitas around. Lots of vegetables! I've gotten it before not this time but did look at it again on the menu and their selection of vegetables for that fajita dish is one of the best.Vegetarian options: There's always cheese enchiladas spinach enchiladas of course nachos or vegetarian. Very limited on vegan items however. I often will just bring my own vegan sour cream and vegan cheese to complete a meal.“
“Mena's is our go-to place for great TexMex. Service is always great, and despite being busy, our food usually comes quickly. I would have given 5 stars this time, but they have changed their chips. They have always been thin and crispy. This time, they were much thicker. We ordered Pollo con salsa, beef enchiladas, and the chicken flautas. They have the absolute best sour cream sauce! If you have an option when selecting a sauce for your entre... get the sour cream!“
“Sydney was amazing! They knew we were on vacation and went above and beyond to make our experience memorable! Thank you Sydney!Vegetarian options: They have a good variety. I am not one but I lean that way occasionally so I always look and take note! Good variety! Also their guacamole is to die for!“
“We arrrived without a reservation on a Friday night. There was an obvious wait, but since we were only two, we probably didn't even actually wait 5 minutes for a table. Were were sat in a banquet in the bar area. Overall this place is very well built and decorated. It has an elegant feel that is not pretentious and feels very open and comfortable. I did note the way they constructed the ceiling, which sounds weird but here's why: This buildling is part of a strip building and so has a very high roof. Rather than dropping in a ceiling, they left it open all the way up. All support structures, lighting fixtures, sound system, etc. are painted black but the cool part is that they installed sound absorbing insulation on the roof and it makes a world of difference in the overall sound level (din) in the restaurant. Even though it is completely open concept and it was packed that night, it was still very pleasant and comfortably quiet for conversation. We were greeted promptly and we asked for a queso. Chips, salsa, and the queso came quickly and all were very good. I particularly like the tortilla chips. The thickness was just right: thick enough not to break in salsa or queso, yet not too thick to be overwhelming.I did ask for a soda and it was served in a can with a glass of ice. OK, that is so odd for a place this nice that I can only assume their fountain was broken. It made no difference to me and I didn't even ask.We had the Pollo con Hongos and a combo dish. Everything went very smoothly, the food came out quickly, and everyhting was very well done, nicely presented, and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom chicken dish. The portion was large and I had plenty left over for a next-day lunch.Overall this experience was wonderful and I am looking forward to visiting again. Great date night spot. Lively enough to be really fun, but to loud to have an intimate dinner.“
“We celebrated our friend's birthday here and everyone loved the food and the great atmosphere. The live music is a great compliment to the beautiful Mexican decorations and the delicious food. The owner is very attentive and goes above and beyond in making sure everyone has a great experience.I give them 5 stars + for their customer service.“
“the food is good the interior is fine the pickup is amazing the fajitas are the best fajitas in town i made a pizza using the tortilla with the steak mixed with the chicken and salsa. the queso and chips are good as the chips have the perfect chip to salt ratio. the cashier named christon was helpful“
“If you haven't been here yet, you are missing out!! This is my second time to come this week!! They have amazing staff and great food that will change your life!! Thank you, Ruth and Marcos for everything you do!!Kid-friendliness: Such a great and warm family environment!! Thank you again!!“
“Two of my family members specifically asked for the baked potato soup. Which is normally pretty good according to them. They both asked for it to be hot. (I thought that was an odd request for soup) guess what? It was barely warm. The cheese on top would not even melt.“
“I only had a cup of coffee, it was perfect - the creamer s9mehow wasn't under/over-powered by coffee. Inside looks nice - saw a few Margarita orders - must be popular. Outside seating & Friendly StaffParking: Small Shopping center- at least 200 spots“
“This place is a little gem! It's never packed and the food is absolutely delicious and made fresh right in front where you could see them cook. Overall, the place is great. The food reminds me of my grandma's cooking a little bit five stars all the “
“Shady part of town getting there being on Lancaster, but don't let that discourage you. THE best tamales I've ever had in my life and I'm a tamale/ Mexican food snob. Chips and salsa are on point and the corn tortillas are nothing like you've ever had before! Again, I'm a tamale snob and a Mexican food snob. You will NOT be disappointed!Kid-friendliness: Don't let the neighborhood discourage you. Very safe environment!“
“This place has been a staple in flower mound for at least a decade. I’ve probably ordered take out 50x at least and dine in 30 or more times over 10 years. Their food and service is always consistent. Never once had a meal that wasn’t consistently as good as the last one.“
“My bestie wanted to eat Mexican food and it's been 9 years since I have had this place. My bestie thought we were going to a chain...nope...drove right past the chain and said wait until you taste this hole in the wall food place...AUTHENTIC, DELICIOUS, MADE FROM SCRATCH...He said it was delicious...I haven't been able to taste or smell for the last 2 years but my memories would not let me forget this place. He was very pleased. If you want authentic, made from the heart food, give this place your money! Will not disappoint!“
“EAT HERE!! SOLID MEXICAN FOOD!!SURPRISED BY BEST HAMBURGER!!!I’ve eaten here many times over the years and Miguelito’s has always been a great dining experience. For what it is.Let me explainIt’s a family run business that’s been where it is for decades. The family takes pride in service and the food they offer and it’s obvious from the moment you sit down. In today’s apathetic server age it’s refreshing to be waited on with courtesy and a genuine feeling that you’re an important guest, not just someone who spends money. But it’s still just standard but above average quality Mexican food. The food isn’t fused, elevated or altered to try and created something new. Instead it’s just good and at a fair price. Other restaurants should take note (looking at YOU uncle Julio) that you can serve good portioned, quality food without charging upscale plate prices. My recommendation is to go eat here sooner rather than later. We never know how long experiences like this will be around. On a side note a guest in my party had the hamburger. I was offered to try some and it was one of the best flavored burgers I’ve had in a minute. Why? Simple flavors and high quality ground beef that didn’t have 10,000 spices added to it. Just, beefKid-friendliness: Kid friendly staff and a kids menus.“
“This was my husband and I's first time dinin' at Rusty Taco. Not only did they take us in last minute and super attentive but the tacos are EVERYTHING. We ordered #2 #4 #5 #8 x2 with the chips guac and queso 2 ice cold tap beers on the side... heaven in my mouth and belly. I took a bite of the #2 and got chill bumps, I told my husband babe, you haven't given me chill bumps like that in a bit ?lol. 1000% comin' back!“
“Food is so great!! We go to the Arlington location more often, but this one was equally delicious and great. Cool atmosphere and every employee was super friendly. Get your tacos here!!!Wheelchair accessibility: My daughter is in a wheelchair and the entire property is ADA compliant.“
“Food always fresh staff very friendlyDietary restrictions: I'm a type 1 diabetic with the strict diet and they're able to accommodate without questionKid-friendliness: Family friendly very attentive to kidsWheelchair accessibility: Full accommodations to help people that are handicapped and in wheelchairs“
“My mom took my sister and I to freebirds to try it for the first time. our server was cali i believe and she was outstanding and very enthusiastic the entire time. she deserves a raise!! i’llbe coming back for sureKid-friendliness: Cali was so sweet she noticed my little sisters obsession for the eclipse and gave her a new set that went with my little sisters outfit. it was way better than her old sams pair and she let mysister keep them:)“
“Went and sat at the bar for a date with my husband. Enjoyed an appetizer and some drinks! The service was great for the most part. I was a bit confused when I received my bill. We ordered the David’s Queso which came WITH corn and brisket for 11.99, but my bill had an “open food” item charge for 2.50. Bartender (she) told us it was for the brisket. If this is the case, it needs to be advertised as an additional charge on the menu, not a total price.Other than that, we ordered food to take home for our kiddos. It was subpar, but they’re not picky!“
“I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the nachos amd the chinos tacos ( had to I'm from El Paso) The chinos tacos don't taste like chicos but they're still very tasty. The nachos were good too. I went second time and changed it to 5 stars. Food is delicious.“
“Don't let the convenience store location keep you away. This Taco Casa location may have a small dining area, but it's clean, the people are friendly, the kitchen is fast, and the food is as good as any other location. I enjoyed the supreme burrito and a soft taco.“
“If you want a model of excellent service, top notch food, amazing drinks, and a great atmosphere. Come here. There was a small wait on a Friday evening but I didn't mind that at all. The bartender was quick to bring drinks to my party. When we were seated, our waiter Elvin, was right there to greet us and take our order. The queso and table-side quac was out of this world tasty. Our actual meals arrived at the perfect time as our appetizers were winding down. Every bite of every meal was absolutely delicious. It isn't a matter of if I return but when. I can't rate this restaurant high enough.Vegetarian options: Typical options you would expect to find at a Tex-Mex restaurant.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options albeit not vegan options.Parking: It is all open parking around the area. There may have been valet at a couple spots but it wasn't necessary.Kid-friendliness: I didn't see a children's menu but I am certain there are options that children would enjoy such as tacos and quesadillas.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessible doors and the establishment is pretty tight. It would prove difficult to find seating for an individual that is wheelchair bound.“
“The manager Kate was amazing! I thought that I had placed my order online for a big work lunch, turns out I made a mistake placing the order..After realizing I did not place my order correctly, Kate made our order on the fly. She was very helpful, professional, and kind. Not to mention, Kate was quick to resolve the issue, she went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. She was excellent under pressure and helped us make it to our lunch on time, AMAZING customer service!“
“It's not as good as I remember, but wasn't bad. We no longer have On The Border in my town, so we were excited to eat here. We were very surprised when the place was pretty much empty at 8:00 on a Saturday night! Tortilla soup was good, but the rice in it was undercooked. Flats and cilantro rice were good. No complaints on queso or enchiladas.“
“Let me start with our server, SHE.WAS.AMAZING! Top notch (I wish that I could remember her name)Secondly, we got our food in a snap and everything was accurate!Lastly, the food... Chips and salsa - absolutely delish, chips were still warm.Main dish - thought that the prices were a bit high, but when we received our tacos, THEY WERE HUGE! Well worth the price!I never knew that I could enjoy airport food so much.Thank you ❤️“
“Loooove Mexican Inn. The homemade chips and salsa are like no other, and their queso Blanco is my favorite in DFW. I have a bad habit of filling up on the chips and dips before my actual entree arrives, but everything I've ordered here has been very tasty.“
“Live right by it first time here. Seems short staffed. Took a minute to be greeted. Our server was average for how slow they were but the food??? Yummy I got the marytierra steak option. Delicious ??? margaritas we did strawberry rocks with patron. Great pour without being overpowering. Frozen marg was as good as any other regular frozen marg. Definitely a recommendation“
“A Decent Dining Experience at Christina's Fine Mexican RestaurantI visited Christina's Fine Mexican Restaurant on December 30th with friends, opting for the fish tacos in a corn tortilla. While the dish was good, it didn't quite reach the level of amazement found in some other places I've tried. However, the skinny margarita I ordered was a standout, delivering an amazing burst of flavor. The serving sizes are generous, making it ideal for sharing if you're not a big eater. Chips and salsa are served while you wait for your order, adding a nice touch to the dining experience. Parking was hassle-free, and the attentive servers contributed positively to the overall enjoyment of the meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options is available“
“We love Christina's!!If you're on the hunt for a Mexican dining experience that tantalizes your taste buds, look no further than Christina's. Nestled in North Richland Hills. This gem of a restaurant combines incredible food, a vibrant atmosphere, and service that's nothing short of exceptional. The service is amazing. Our favorite waitress is Melissa. Her warm smile and attentive service elevate the dining experience to new heights. Knowledgeable about the menu and always ready with recommendations, Melissa ensures that every visit is not just a meal, but a wonderful Experience.Whether you're a seasoned foodie or just looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming environment, this is the restaurant to visit. Just be sure to ask for Melissa - she'll take your dining experience from great to truly exceptional.“
“This is my new favorite place. Most of the menu is gluten free and the food is delicious. I will definitely be eating here often. I dont feel like Im eating "typical" gluten free food, just delicious normal food that wont get me sick. I am amazed and so happy that this place exists.“
“Overall this was a great lunch experience. Quick service a large menu of varying options at reasonable pricing.Queso was good. Our party had a bunch of different entrees that everyone enjoyed. No room for dessert, but the menu was good.Parking: Plenty of parking.“
