“The steak tacos were fantastic and the flavors really stood out. I was also thrilled that they let me switch the refried beans for a side salad. You can see it in one of my photos and it turned out to be far from an ordinary salad. The Caesar dressing was unbelievably good and I would go back just for that. Our server was exceptional and made the entire visit even better.“

“First time doing takeout here! I was a little surprised that I was prompted for a tip, but then my order didn’t include any utensils. I’ll be honest, I didn’t leave a huge tip, mostly because it feels like so many places these days expect a tip even for takeout, and I’m always much happier tipping when the little details and service are there too.

I just wish as much attention had been given to making sure the order had everything we needed as there was to asking for a tip. Nothing major—just a small learning opportunity for the future. :)“

“We have been eating at la Isla for 30 years. Mainly the Park Row and Cooper location and when they moved to Pantene we followed them there. We have sampled the menu widely but I am centered on the tostada de Ceviche for a start. Then the sour cream chicken enchilada plate. We love the rice and beans and I love to put some of the delicious salsa on them. My wife usually gets either the fajitas or the tacos Al carbon. The chips and salsa are great too. Moderately priced as well. Give them a try.“

“I absolutely love Chuy's; the 7th St location as well as The Highlands location. The service is always on point, queso is great, the food is wonderful. I always try to order something new when I visit, but my go to is the Comida Deluxe, my fiancé's go to is the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Enchiladas, my eldest son's go to is the Chuychanga, and the younger two love the Flautas and the Chicken Enchiladas. The drinks are always fantastic and it's one of our favorite places for Tex-Mex.“

“I was given a gift çard to eat at this restaurant. I went there with dear friends of mine à few years ago & it was Terrible. last night Wednesday June, 21 2023. I decided to give them another try. OMG!! My waitress Julia was à beautiful young lady as SWEET as could be. the food was great. To say it was Much better service & Atmosphere. I spoke with a manager Jimmy to tell him this way better than the last time. A big shout out to my waitress Julia. Thank you for your service. “I used Habanero’s for catering for 40 ppl my mom's 65th surprise birthday party. Although placing the order wasn't the most comforting experience, Peter defintiely made up! My order was prepared and ready for pickup as scheduled and THE FOOD was AMAZING!! Two days later the party guest were still asking me where was the food from becuase it was soooo good! “Mother's Day was made even more special by choosing this place for lunch. Each lady was met with a rose and quickly shown to the table. The Staff greeted us with a big smile and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. As I had never dined there, I was Pleasantly surprised by the delicious tomatilo salsa! After much research and difficult pricing decision to make I took a deeper dive into the website for the Mexican Inn Café. What I found was lots of happy folks with both food and the restaurant. Next step was asking around for personal experience and found again lots of happy folks. Last step was a personal visit to check out the food. Well, that was a pleasant surprise for a restaurant that has been there for 60 + years – great food – great service and impressive service personal. Making the arrangements for the catering service was easy and working with Annette Rosas far exceeded my expectations. On the day of the birthday party the food arrived on time and their set-up service was excellent. OH, those yummy food smells. Everything looked delicious, was well prepared and the display was a treat to the eye. In addition - all was an enormous success from the party goers’ praises … except for there being little left over for me to enjoy the next day>LOL. I would like to recommend the Mexican Inn Café 8th Street in Fort Worth and Annette Rosas to anyone in need of catering services or an excellent place to eat. “Our waiter Sebastian was excellent he was very attentive on making sure we were always good with refills, or anything we needed. He was always on it. If a table left we noticed he was right there cleaning it and also just making sure his tables were all good at the same time.
