“I go to this Whataburger even though it’s a few miles further from my house than my local one for several reasons. First of all the food is consistently great. Secondly, I enjoy the interaction with the employees and management because they are always friendly and inviting. And finally, this has to be the cleanest Whataburger that I have ever been to! “Man, I love taco bell. Me and the boy eat there at least once a week. Ill eat at other places too but that bacon flavored Frijoles got me coming back time and time again. Top it off with a bucket of Diet Coke or strawberry drink and bro, it hits the spot. Value of the food? it's okay. For two of us it's at least $20 but it's better than some places charge a little more and you get a little less. We like the party burritos because it's less messy for the kiddo and I like the flavor ratio of the small flour tortilla and Frijoles. Combos well with party tacos or big tacos or any combination of mucho nachos or combo platter which are always on point. “My daughters, my mom, and I just went to this Whataburger, and I wanted to recognize one of the employees I believe is a manager (I didn’t catch her name). She was absolutely amazing! Every time I’ve come in and she’s been there, she’s been so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. She always provides excellent customer service and makes every visit a great experience. “Disclaimer: This is a before and now comparison. The whole story is not within the first few lines.

Note: The summary of my experiences were all from physically going into this location. I would wait for the food to be prepped and take it to-go.

3-ish years ago:
I was so happy about this conveniently located Golden Chick. I was a regular for a while to give it multiple chances, but unfortunately, they disappointed multiple times. The food was usually cold or stale. Their fountain and ice machine were always needing to be refilled. Their customer service was hit or miss. I haven’t been back in a while when I ordered 8 tenders, and they tried to pass 8 of the smallest pieces that I have ever seen into a box designed for 4 tenders. It was the first Golden Chick location that I did not like, and I wanted to give them a low rating.

Now:
I decided to give them a chance again recently, and they are much improved. The facility is much more clean, and their customer service is much better! They are also more fair about their tender sizes. Thanks for all the changes y’all have been working on. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is I’m waiting to see if they can consistently keep this up. If they can, I may update the rating to 5 stars.“

“Kudos to the young man who was working the front counter on my visit (March 1) around lunch time between 12 noon and 1. Normally you get rude or disrespectful looks front then workers at a fast food restaurant but I experienced the opposite. The rude and disgusting looks were from the customers I observed. The salsa bar was running low and had no forks. Instead of giving the young man a chance, they just whines about it and gave rude remarks. This young man was taking orders and restocking the salsa bar without having a dirty look. He even excused himself to go refill the toilet paper in the woman’s restroom from an inpatient customer who couldn’t wait for him to finish an order with another customer. He was even helping out in the drive thru. It’s a shame that most fast food employees get a bad rap and pay is horrible. This young man shouldn’t be included in such class as other fast food workers.“

“As of the time of this review, one of the cleanest and best Subways in mid-cities. Food looked fresh and well presented. The guy that made our sandwich was polite and made it with care, if that makes sense. Dining room was clean and chips and cookies were well stocked. I’m impressed. By a Subway.“

“We come here fairly often and have never had a bad experience. The staff is always respectful. Tonight I witnessed them handle a very angry customer with so much more patience than I would have. So many props to this outstanding team.“

“What I like about Jack is that you can go cheap or go big. Always use the app to find deals and earn points for rewards later. The food is fairly consistent between locations. Recently they have reduced the breakfast offerings, some locations have removed them all together. This was a bit disappointing. They are always adding limited time menu options to try out, so there is usually something new to try.“
