“Oh my gosh, this place was absolutely amazing. I’m not from this area and have been looking for a new go to sushi place, and this is it. Our waitress was a star, she was on top of everything. Even after we had boxes and were paying the bill, she refilled my drink! Which never happens. We had a chicken katsu, mountain roll, Hawaiian roll, and a Dallas Stars roll and my god they were incredible. The presentation, the amount, THE TASTE. We also had enough left overs for another whole meal. ALL FOR UNDER $100! I will be back time and time again, could not recommend this place more.“

Things have changed here and that’s a real win for Grapevine. This location has recently returned to onsite cooking, not just onsite prep. The difference in taste and freshness is amazing and long overdue to return the menu and experience to its former glory.

“BMV is one of my GO-TO restaurants when I want to treat myself. I have only ever ordered through Uber Eats, and am happy with my order every time. I highly recommend the Grilled Pork Vermicelli Salad- it’s like a spring roll in a bowl! Easily customizable, filling, and fresh every time. It’s the perfect summer meal. I also love the Cajun sweet potato fries and the potstickers. I plan to actually go in person sometime soon to try out some of their other offerings!“

“I've come here every once and a while off and on for about a decade, the service is always amazing and the food is always great, I was torn about leaving a review that was in poorer taste because this is a really amazing place to eat. I've noticed lately though the portion sizes are diminishing, I ordered the OMG appetizer with jalapeno, cream cheese, crab, ect, (half of the portion I got was already gone by the time I took the photo) and it's delicious! Definitely worth getting, but I was just a little disappointed that all the sticks are about the size of my pinky finger, definitely a one bite and done kind of deal. And in the Philadelphia roll I ordered, there was genuinely barely any smoked salmon except for 1 piece and I took the photo after eating a piece and realizing, though what was there was absolutely delicious! I just wished there was a little bit more for an even amount between the other ingredients in the roll. The last thing I'll add, and I hate to admit it, is I was relieved that I ordered for pickup because when I walked in to grab my food I was immediately hit with a strange sort of sewage smell as soon as I entered the doors, I'm not sure if they were just having some plumbing issues or what, but a friend of mine mentioned when I told them I was ordering that they smelled the sewage smell last time they were in the restaurant too. But the servers behind the counter were very very sweet when I picked up my order, they always are, nothing was missing from my order and everything tasted so fresh and so yummy! I'll definitely keep coming back!“

My ride-or-die order is the Pad Kee Mow (drunken noodles) with medium spice. Still, it's always delicious, and the one time my dish came out closer to "Thai hot," (which is what they call their spiciest), they were super kind and remade it without hesitation. Now, I have to mention, the interior has a bit of an identity crisis. There's a random Christmas wreath that's been hanging up year-round, and a slightly cluttered corner by the bathrooms. It's not exactly Instagram-perfect, but somehow that adds to the charm. The place feels a little worn in, but clean enough that it doesn't deter me (just worth knowing if you're someone who likes everything pristine). Pro tip: avoid the table by the double glass doors. It's basically a climate experiment: blazing hot in the summer and freezing in the winter. Otherwise, they keep the restaurant at a cool, comfortable temp (I love it but you might want to bring a light jacket just in case). Overall, this is one of those reliable, cozy spots that you keep coming back to because the food hits every time and the service is always welcoming. Nothing fancy, just consistently good Thai comfort food done right.“
