“The staff here is extremely friendly. The place was clean the food was decent. I have had better sushi, I ordered the daily bento, but their prices are very reasonable and with how friendly they are it is worth eating here. I came by myself for lunch.

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! I’ve actually been here three times now. While I liked it the first two times, yesterday was very disappointing. First, the chicken was mostly fried batter without much meat. We even had a few pieces that were just pure fried breading with no meat at all. It was crispy, but also very greasy. They were also out of cabbage salad yesterday. We ordered chicken, rice and two drinks, but we weren't offered a single refill, even though our cups were empty for a long time. The restaurant was barely busy, yet the staff never came over to check on us or ask if we needed anything—though she did randomly bring us a single napkin we didn't ask for. On the top of that, she wasn’t the most friendly. Overall, it was not a good experience.“

“Went for the first time for my birthday with my family. The food was so good! The chef at the hibachi was very funny and interactive. The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!“

“Small restaurant with some of the friendliest service! My husband and I stopped in and were seated with a great view of the France vs. Morocco soccer match.
I ordered the pork dumplings, pecan mandarin shrimp, and a side of fried rice. My husband had the orange chicken with fried rice and asked for it extra spicy. They were happy to customize his order and even brought us chili oil on the side. The fried rice wasn’t our favorite, but the main dishes were delicious and the portions were huge! My pecan mandarin shrimp was loaded with big chunks of pineapple and pecans, and the shrimp were huge!
The servers were incredibly charismatic, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We left with leftovers and a great time. We’ll definitely be back!“
