Things have changed here and that’s a real win for Grapevine. This location has recently returned to onsite cooking, not just onsite prep. The difference in taste and freshness is amazing and long overdue to return the menu and experience to its former glory.

Big shout out on service too. Chris behind the bar is awesome and makes the experience all that more enjoyable.“

“The bourbon chicken was amazing. The red beans and rice were the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The mac & cheese was delicious. The only criticism I would have is they could make their black chicken spicier, but I understand they probably don’t because people can’t handle spice great place!“

“Oh my gosh, this place was absolutely amazing. I’m not from this area and have been looking for a new go to sushi place, and this is it. Our waitress was a star, she was on top of everything. Even after we had boxes and were paying the bill, she refilled my drink! Which never happens. We had a chicken katsu, mountain roll, Hawaiian roll, and a Dallas Stars roll and my god they were incredible. The presentation, the amount, THE TASTE. We also had enough left overs for another whole meal. ALL FOR UNDER $100! I will be back time and time again, could not recommend this place more.“

“Small restaurant with some of the friendliest service! My husband and I stopped in and were seated with a great view of the France vs. Morocco soccer match.
I ordered the pork dumplings, pecan mandarin shrimp, and a side of fried rice. My husband had the orange chicken with fried rice and asked for it extra spicy. They were happy to customize his order and even brought us chili oil on the side. The fried rice wasn’t our favorite, but the main dishes were delicious and the portions were huge! My pecan mandarin shrimp was loaded with big chunks of pineapple and pecans, and the shrimp were huge!
The servers were incredibly charismatic, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We left with leftovers and a great time. We’ll definitely be back!“

“A great sushi place: unpretentious, solid, and inexpensive. Don't go if you're looking for something fancy, but a nice meal at a decent price. I love the eel rolls. I had the chicken fried rice for the first time this week: pretty darn good, and lots to eat!“

“This is my neighborhood Chinese food. I feel so lucky it is located so convenient to my house.
The orange chicken is good. The white rice is nice. Consistency is perfect. Egg rolls are good.
The service is good. They are lovely gracious people.
It’s more of a take out place than a dine in, but I think they would let you eat there if you wanted.“

Will be adding this place to my lunch menu for work. “I've come here every once and a while off and on for about a decade, the service is always amazing and the food is always great, I was torn about leaving a review that was in poorer taste because this is a really amazing place to eat. I've noticed lately though the portion sizes are diminishing, I ordered the OMG appetizer with jalapeno, cream cheese, crab, ect, (half of the portion I got was already gone by the time I took the photo) and it's delicious! Definitely worth getting, but I was just a little disappointed that all the sticks are about the size of my pinky finger, definitely a one bite and done kind of deal. And in the Philadelphia roll I ordered, there was genuinely barely any smoked salmon except for 1 piece and I took the photo after eating a piece and realizing, though what was there was absolutely delicious! I just wished there was a little bit more for an even amount between the other ingredients in the roll. The last thing I'll add, and I hate to admit it, is I was relieved that I ordered for pickup because when I walked in to grab my food I was immediately hit with a strange sort of sewage smell as soon as I entered the doors, I'm not sure if they were just having some plumbing issues or what, but a friend of mine mentioned when I told them I was ordering that they smelled the sewage smell last time they were in the restaurant too. But the servers behind the counter were very very sweet when I picked up my order, they always are, nothing was missing from my order and everything tasted so fresh and so yummy! I'll definitely keep coming back!“

The other staff were friendly and everyone seemed happy to be there. We called to make a reservation so we would be guaranteed the hibachi experience. They also have a table dine in area that is very nice looking and next time we come we are going to sit there. Their prices are around what you would expect for hibachi and good sushi. We had a great time! We will be going back 100%!!!“

“I’m not sure why there are people saying they have “skimpy portions”. I received more than enough food and then some! They do teriyaki chicken very well. It reminds me of Seattle. The flavors are all there and it’s not too heavily seasoned. The teriyaki sauce is good and the chicken is juicy! It was a very nostalgic experience eating this teriyaki.“
