The service was nice and they have unlimited side broccoli and cucumber, which the broccoli tasted pretty good with a hint of peanut butter. I don't think their chicken bowl worth a try at all. However, their price is extremely good for the quality of their sushi. The sushi was tasty and filling.
Maki Boy is everything you want in a simple Asian meal. The portions are huge, the food is excellent, and the entire place smells awesome! The fried rice dishes might need a pinch of salt or msg, but the textures, flavors, and oils are wonderful. The spicy pork might be the best thing on the menu. Tofu costs $3 extra as of November 2023, but there are vegetarian dishes even without tofu. Service is pretty lacking but that's their business model. Amazing sushi. Sizeable chunks of fresh fish. You might skip the soy sauce and wasabi because the sushi is so flavorful. It's hard to find a spot but the lady who runs things is very attentive. The Korean side bowls are a unique touch.
