Then the main course…you flip your card to green…and here comes all of your meats..too many to name. The waiters carve it right onto your plate. All of it delicious. You flip your card to red to take a break or to be done. Don’t forget the grilled pineapple…and ask for the grilled cheese and honey. For dessert the Flaming Cheesecake!!! Definitely worth every $$!!”

Josh (the general manager) reached out to us and asked for the opportunity to make it up to us by providing a complimentary meal. We decided to accept Josh's offer and have brunch today.Well, let's just say Josh and his team hit a grand slam home run. The food was amazing and the service was even better! I was especially impressed by the Crab Parmesan Dip, the thick cut bacon, roasted potatoes, and the beignets. Thanks for a great experience Josh, Leroy and Hannah.Today's experience was a perfect 10 out of 10! ????”

When you walk inside it as though you walked into a Japanese restaurant in the middle of a Japanese city. Very traditional and you have two seating options: 1. The bar where you can watch the cooks work the grill 2. The Floor. You walk up take your shoes off and they seat you at the table where you sit on the floor. It’s actually surprisingly comfy.FOOD: this place is a five star rating for food all around. If you’re not very adventurous and only want an American take on the food they do have options on the menu that will accommodate you. If you’re looking for more traditional Japanese options there are so many great options and all are amazing. They even have some more creative options that are still a nod to traditional Japanese but with a twist. I would definitely recommend asking the server for their recommendations if it’s your first time and just dive in.SERVICE: they are quick and attentive yet still manage to be kind and patient. They even remembered my wife and I after months later from our first visit.Over all I wouldn’t have anything negative to say about this place.They only do reservations for 3+ people so if you’re a couple get there early and wait in line. TOTALLY worth it.”

“This is my second time coming to this restaurant I love it soo much they never disappoint I usually get the oxtails plate but this time I got the dark meat jerk chicken which was delicious and that sauce had a kick of spice that I liked the yams, Mac n cheese, and greens are always on point now that cabbage on the other had not so much it had a weird taste to it not sure what seasoning they used but y’all definitely got to try this place it will not disappoint for real and don’t let my forget the customer service was top tier it was a great experience inside the restaurant”

The brisket empanadas are simply mouthwatering, especially when paired with their chimichurri sauce - it's a match made in heaven! A special shoutout to Ariel, the chef and my friend, for cooking up some seriously delicious empanadas. “They have many taco and side options. For sides I tried the street corn and the queso and chips. The street corn was just OK, but the queso and chips are delicious, I highly recommend! As for tacos, my favorite is definitely the Crossroads, which is a shredded brisket taco.”

I had to find out if it was a fluke or not. So I asked the guy if I could just have 3 beef tacos. "Of course" he said.Now keep in mind that these are not any kind of "special" tacos, like brisket, fish or 'street tacos', just your basic Americano beef tacos.But again! These were the best tacos I have ever had! Packed with beef and every ingredient was of the best quality. And the queso is pretty darn good to.My only concern with my visit... Premium tacos evidently come with a premium price. But you get what you pay for!”

“I was there on a Saturday afternoon with a diverse group of people celebrating birthdays. The staff attended us fairly well, but not with warmth. I had the brunch fried oyster omelet with arugula salad. Both were excellent! The oysters were fresh and very lightly battered and the combination very tasty. The view near the canal is outstanding! I hope to return to try the cioppino someday.”

Then there was giggles then an introduction not sure who the lady was didn’t get her name but I paid attention to her as me and my son sat in our seat, which was her section off top. She had an attitude you can just tell by her facial expressions when she came over there was no introductions she got straight to the menu. She didn’t keep us with refills. And when I was ordering my son a kids meal, she proposed that I got him a different meal. Which price isn’t a problem. I just don’t want him wasting food which he did. The meal was too big, which I was trying to explain to her. Not to mention it was here in my food. I was already having a bad experience. She was already barely coming over to me and my son‘s table so when she came back, I just told her that I didn’t want the food that I would still pay for it. I just want my check to go.”

The crab rangoons were not as expected probably like an 8/10 still delicious with the sauces that came with it. Ordered the pork and pork/crab soup dumplings which both were phenomenal. “During my recent visit to Irving, I sought out genuine Indian flavors and found myself at this restaurant. The food experience was acceptable, but I was puzzled by so many green chilly ( which I felt as green beans but they are not )in spite of telling them less spicy and also the addition of fried cucumber and round-shaped boiled carrots ( as in picture below visually it’s like chicken but it’s not ) in the chicken fried rice. This unique touch, possibly for visual appeal, took attention away from the chicken. With only a few chicken pieces, the dish didn't meet my expectations. Although it had a generally satisfying taste, there is certainly room for improvement to make the chicken fried rice more balanced and in line with traditional expectations.”

“This was our first experience at the restaurant. We were on our way to Irving Arts Center for a concert and short on time. We arrived just before the dinner rush and service was prompt. Spicy, warm salsa and chips were quickly brought to our table. We chose Chicken Tacos al Carbon and a triple Create Your Own Combo. Our entrées arrive quickly and were plated in a refreshing bistro style! I look forward to trying the Ox Eyes Stacked Enchiladas on our next visit. La comida está buena!”

The enchiladas were good, but then I tried the taco, and it was "The best taco I have ever had"!So I had lunch today at this Mi Cocina and all I could think about was that taco from a month ago. I had to find out if it was a fluke or not. So I asked the guy if I could just have 3 beef tacos. "Of course" he said.Now keep in mind that these are not any kind of "special" tacos, like brisket, fish or 'street tacos', just your basic Americano beef tacos.But again! These were the best tacos I have ever had! Packed with beef and every ingredient was of the best quality. And the queso is pretty darn good to.My only concern with my visit... Premium tacos evidently come with a premium price. But you get what you pay for!”

“1st time here. There was not a lot of people at this spot. It took over an hour or so to receive our food. When we were leaving it was then explained that the waitress dropped our platter and it had to be replaced. It would have been nice to know prior when we saw people that came in after us was eating their meals and finished before we got ours. Overall I will give them another try but they have to do better with customer service”

“They really have 101 type of Partha in their Menu. I love their paratha. Lunch buffet is good option to try different parathas. For dinner time, I would prefer to go with friends or family to try different types of paratha, however this place has limited sitting so getting tables for large group could be a challenge. “I am on day two of having issues with my app as far as it not allowing me to use a BOGO that is already loaded to my account. The store that I went to yesterday in Grapevine was of no assistance. I stopped here at the Irving location today and the manager, Cameron, did what he could to assist, but was not able to get my app to load the coupon for me to complete my order. He then was able to get me taken care of at the counter and honored the “online order only” at the counter for the inconvenience. Thank you, Cameron!”

Also our hot wings order arrived before our food...except it was incorrect. By the time correction was made. Our meal arrived and table was pretty tight for space. Imo the attention as guests was diminished by the lack of proper staff availability.”

This place is clean and is the perfect place to enjoy some hot Chicken! They do have one item on the menu that's bone in. I will be trying that next time! My server Cassey was wonderful!
