I wore a complicated outfit and the nice female manager assisted me in the bathroom with my clothes and engaged me in conversation, and she ensured that my dining experience was amazing!!!!! Now that is customer service!!!!!!! The food was amazing, the server was fast and friendly. I came all the way from Virginia to eat at MiCocina since I had it years ago, and I will definitely be back!!!!!!”

I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.”
“Absolutely love the pizzas here!! The unique variety they offer takes pizza to the next level. I do have 3 issues pertaining to service though. 1. We had to ask for a couple specific pizzas to be brought to our table because they hadn't been offered while others were brought multiple times. 2. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.”

Our waitress right away told us we could not be moving around from table to table. She was not able to handle such a big table. Very unprofessional disregarding we were paying customers. Not sure if we would visit again with that kind of treatment. FYI, we still tipped more than what was expected.”

My kid has autism so it’s hard to find places to eat where they allow us to enjoy a meal as a family. I love them for that. And the young gentleman cook 👨🍳 that always is so sweet and know what we want from the moment we walk in the door 🚪 thanks you for taking amazing care of us. I got the Mentaiko Pasta which was fairly tasty, balanced, and the bread that came with it was toasted and delish.
Also had the Curry Rice which was on the meatier end so not the typical Japanese sweetness which was a plus and the katsu.
All the portions were small for the average texan.
Strawberry Matcha Latte was quiet expensive considering adding oat milk made it $9.50, not the most amazing drink.
I would not try the items again, but would consider coming back to try some other things on the menu.”

“We visited SaltGrass Steak House in May 2025. We wanted the stereotypical steak, while we were on our short visit to Texas. This place did not disappoint. It is a Texas-themed steak house, which was exactly what we were seeking. The ambience is fun with a deep nod to the history of the state. The background music is quiet enough to permit conversation – which I found to be a lot more considerate than a number of other restaurants I have experienced nearby. There is a lot of Texas memorabilia on the walls, which was fun to look at. The food was outstanding. We tried some appetizers prior to our entrees. I can’t fault them. They were tasty and good value for money. Our entrees, the steaks, were perfect! If you want to taste “bliss” a visit to this place is highly advised. I hoped to sample the desserts but, because the appetizers and entrees were so delicious there was, sadly, no room. Gabe was our server. He was an absolute sweetheart. He was fun, friendly, and professional – and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. I can’t speak highly enough of this young man. To top it off, during conversation, he revealed that he has served our country in the military, and that he is a veteran. Thank you for your service, young sir. (If you visit this establishment, I hope you have the good luck to be assigned to one of Gabe’s tables!) To summarize: Ambience: 10/10 Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Value for Money: 10/10 Would I recommend this place? Absolutely, yes, in a heartbeat!”

We ordered the nachos with chicken Tinga and they were absolutely scrumptious! I think those are my second favorite nachos ever that I’ve eaten! Just a right amount of ingredients and all spread out on a nice big square dish. Very flavorful! Then he had a nice cold beer and I ordered a skinny margarita, but it was extremely weak so I had to order a side of tequila. Not cheap but it’s a hotel restaurant.”

They even have a conference room available for business meetings! The baristas were extremely kind and answered all of my questions without ever seeming bothered or rushing me. The espresso they use is incredibly smooth—perfectly balanced, not sour or burnt at all. I had the pistachio latte which was fantastic, but I was even more convinced that this is a top-tier roaster when I tried a standard latte with no added flavor. Wow! Highly recommend checking them out.”
