“I just want to brag for a moment about the service level I experienced with my Valentine’s dinner last night. Pablo Manus “the kitchen manager at the Outback Steakhouse in Irving, TX off belt line rd” went over and beyond to get my meal delivered to me. DoorDash never delivered my original order, and within 2 hours of notifying Pablo, he reordered my meal and physically delivered my order to my home when DoorDash didn’t have anyone to deliver. This act of kindness was so special to me. I have been coming to Outback for 31 years with all of my family. We are loyal outbacker’s, and we experienced greatness. Pablo needs a raise and promotion for going above and beyond for my husband and I’s 26th Valentine’s meal together. We will never forget this Pablo!“
“First time dining inside(usually get curbside). Our server Edwin, was so pleasant and attentive. Loved the Texas vibe in there. We had ribs which were as they stated on the menu “fall off the bone” and the roast beef Sandwhich which was also delicious. The dessert carrot cake was absolutely humongous! Will be back soon??“
“I went there with colleagues, 2 Germans, I French and 2 Americans. The place is extremely loud but the atmosphere is great. It was one of my colleagues' birthday : the staff brought a horse saddle mounted on a bar stool and had my colleague swing some underwear above his head. Great fun indeed. Another plus : free peanuts ! The only drawback : the place was full and the very young staff was a bit lost and hectic. I had a salad, quantity and quality were absolutely great. Loved that place...“
“By far this is my favorite place to go have drinks and dinner. The consistency with both food and cocktails is by far amazing. You never get a bad drink or bad service or bad food. It can be romantic or you can just pop in for a quick drink after work it's a fun atmosphere. I recommend this to anyone..“
“Enjoyed everything except the bread, ordered shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, Ceasar salad, Deviled eggs, steak and mashed potatoes, lobster mac and cheese. Deviled eggs were okay but you have to put them together. Everything else was amazing. Chocolate cake is a must!!“
“One of our favorite places in Dallas! While DDW has a lot of restaurants, it’s definitely quantity over quality. We’ve had a lot more bad meals than good, but that’s never the case at Al Biernat’s!Every single thing we’ve had here is amazing. My husband ordered breakfast last weekend, and I tried his bacon. It felt like the first time I’ve had real bacon in a decade, lol!My go to meal is the shrimp and mango ceviche. A must! Their mojitos are fabulous (thanks, Griff), and their bread basket is a must. Also highly recommend the raw oysters. We love to finish with double espressos and tiramisu. All of their desserts are fantastic, and you can’t go wrong no matter which one you choose.Make sure to say hi to the manager, Marty, when you’re there. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, something that’s definitely lacking at other establishments. Highly, highly recommend Al Biernat’s!“
“Wonderful atmosphere, you feel comfortable and isolated even though it's busy and all the tables are filled. Our server, Royce, is amazing. Greeted us at the table, got us our drinks quickly, and went over the specials with us.The lamb pop appetizer comes with chimicurri which needs to go on top of the lamb. The flavors dance on your tongue. The mac and cheese isn't just macaroni with cheese, the chefs added additional flavors, making it a dish on its own.The steak is seasoned with a little salt, pepper, and clarified butter. It does not need anything else. It melts in your mouth. There's a thin crust on the outer edge, with its herbs, spices, and buttery goodness, and then the succulent inside, perfectly cooked steak, and how it practically dissolves on your tongue. We ordered both the chocolate and carrot cake, having been told the pair of desserts are the most delicious. We took the two home, having filled ourselves to bursting already. The chocolate cake is definitely something you need to order. We haven't tried the carrot cake, but we imagine it will be just as wonderful.“
“A wonderful dining experience in Dallas. 33d Anniversary dinner. Not being familiar with Dallas, I googled "best steakhouses in downtown Dallas. Y.O Ranch was in the top three (along with Bob's and Dakota) Really liked the eclecticism of YO's menu. Prices were in line with the competition. Good reviews. We Ubered over from our hotel on Commerce St. Excellent welcome from hostess. Very nice ambience in a casual atmosphere. We both had the perfectly cooked, small Filet which was plenty for senior appetites. Split a Caesar salad as well as a huge baked potato and some asparagus. Wine list was good but unremarkable and we had a couple of very nice glasses each. Lot's of high end wine if that's your thing. Our server was great. Very attentive and prompt without making us feel rushed. Considering the choices of top flight steakhouse in Dallas, we were more than happy with our choice of YO Ranch Steakhouse. Great way to put a cap on our Dallas experience. Thanks so much.“
“Dovi and the entire team were so kind an attentive! We had a last minute relatively large party and we were not the most quiet group. At no point did anyone make us feel we were being "too much". In fact, most of the staff joined in on the fun. Even after spilling my drink ! I really appreciate the attentiveness, kindness, and overall good customer experience provided by the staff at this Outback location.“
“Me and my wife went for our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing. I got the sea bass and came with Wasabi potatoes. Amazing dish. My wife got the lobster risotto she enjoyed it. We also shared a millionares baked potato and was also amazing. The drinks weren't the best but everything else was great. They also gave us a complementary desert which was also delicious.“
“We had a reservation and were on time. There were tables available, but we and another couple had to wait. Service could have been better. Waited awhile before our server came. We were ready to order but had to wait about 10 minutes to do so. The 3 men sitting behind us were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. All they were doing was drinking. Maybe they should have been seated in the bar area?“
“Fantastic dining experience. From the hostess to the manager to the server the staff is excellent. It's certainly not a restaurant to give your patronage to while on a budget, but if you appreciate quality it's well worth it. one of the better filets I've ever had, which is saying a lot. The bacon appetizer was more like thinly sliced pork with maple glaze it was so thick and delicious. We ate earlier in the evening and I can picture it getting very busy, very loud and very see-and-be-seen, but that is more a testament to a restaurant being a victim of it's own success.“
“Reached out for a reservation for a friend's send off and because of the size, we had to get a private room. Luckily, the minimum spend wasn't too crazy and the planning was easy with Megan!Service was top notch in the restaurant as well and the atmosphere was fitting, but since we were in a private room, we couldn't see the rest of the place.Only reason I am giving a 4 star is the value didn't seem to be the best and my cowboy ribeye was under seasoned quite a bit. However, I asked all of my friends who got a steak and theirs were delicious. Mine was on the thicker side, so maybe that was the difference (like using the same amount of salt as the others?).I did love how the appetizers and desserts could scale with our table, and all the food came in together mostly!I would definitely come again from this experience and try again.“
“I really enjoyed my experience here for lunch! We sat outside for a midday vibe and got just that. The burger was suggested by our waiter Julian and it was very tasty I must say. The customer service was top tier and they made sure to check in frequently to ensure we were taken care of and enjoying our experience. I highly recommend coming here for a date night, dinner with the girls, or even a family outing. Definitely coming back!“
“Came in for my Birthday dinner. 12oz Prime Rib was mouth watering goodness!! The other 3 in our party also had zero complaints!! Can't recall the servers name, however she was very pleasant!!My only complaint was the lighting. Trying to read the menu was quite difficult, especially to the elders that were in our party. We had to use our cell phone flashlight to see the menu.I also would like to add that my mother and I could have stayed for just one more piece of key-lime pie as it put a close to our dinner!! YUMMY!! I highly recommend this place, as we will return in the future!! Thanks for a great 50th Birthday Dinner!!“
“The best ever Filet Mignon I have eaten in the USA. Expensive but steak and mushrooms were outstanding. Excellent service and nice place to stay, only downside was a cold breeze from the entrance that I felt on the bar and lounge. It was 21 degrees outside. Definitely will come back next time.“
“Nestled in an exquisite location, this steakhouse presents an elegant dining experience that began with a seamless valet service, ensuring parking was the least of our concerns. With a reservation in hand, we were promptly welcomed and seated, our anticipation met with an array of impeccably crafted drinks by our attentive server, whose service was near flawless, though a touch more warmth would have been the cherry on top. :)The culinary journey proceeded with remarkable speed, our second round of delectable drinks accompanying a swiftly served yet astoundingly delicious meal. I indulged in a perfectly cooked steak, while my wife savored a succulent lamb rack, each dish speaking volumes of the chef’s mastery. The evening reached its zenith with a complimentary chocolate cake and champagne, a gesture that transformed our anniversary dinner into a truly memorable celebration. For those in pursuit of culinary excellence,I wholeheartedly recommend this steakhouse.Parking: Finding the restaurant was a bit of a challenge at night, nestled as it is in the shopping center, but discovering it was absolutely worth the effort.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s wheelchair accessible, making it welcoming for everyone.“
“It’s one of my favorite places and the atmosphere is great … Look there is a standard but in our culture of individuality and fashion going so many directions I just can’t determine what’s enforceable and what isn’t. If you can look past that, then, I think everything else can be enjoyable.I enjoy dinner here, and I also enjoy just coming to sit at the bar to have cocktails. It’s a vibe for sure.“
“We broke from birthday tradition to try out Bob’s and it exceeded expectations. Easy parking, great first impression inside, cool classy atmosphere, deep bourbon selection, personable waiter/comedian, suggestions were helpful, food was cooked to proper temp, quality was excellent, and key lime pie rivals Hillstone/Houston’s. Very impressed. We’ll be back!“
“Great old style restaurant settimg. Excellent service and atmosphere. Great escargot, salad and steaks. Sides were creamed spinach and marsala mushrooms; tasty. Great crème bulee and wine selection. If you like great steaks this is the place to go“
“Like most Saltgrass, you know exactly what you are getting if you visit this restaurant. I can't in good conscious give 5 stars today for just a few reasons. At first arrival, the lobby was busy, but no one knew where the line was to check in, and it was organized chaos. With that said, we did get seated pretty quickly. The waiter was ok, but for us, he was way too talkative. I like to enjoy my meal without all the conversation. He did a good job, though. The bread here is always amazing. We ordered mushrooms and crab cakes for appetizers. You can't go wrong with either. Both were amazing. I really liked the crab cakes with the lemon sauce. The potato soup is not what I'm used to and tasted like it was missing something. The meals were as expected, tasted good, hot, tender ribs, and perfectly cooked steak. The couple we were eating with, though, had their fish come out more raw than fish should be. They did take care of it and replaced the dish, but by the time he got his fish, we were almost done. The remake was cooked properly, but it was way over seasoned. Overall, a good, not great visit. I would recommend a visit despite our issues since they are very consistent with good food.“
“Yard House is always great fun! CC, Chris, Meg and Lewis are always super friendly. I love that we get new recommendations every time we go from the huge and ever revolving beers and cocktails. The vibe is always great and the service even better ??Vegetarian options: Loads of options either veggie or option to sub Gardein!“
“I have tried a range of steaks, seafood, salads and burger. I've even tried some of their to go turkey and chicken salads. None of which have disappointed. We love Cooper's and will continue to support local Oak Cliff business as I am a born and raised Oak Cliff entrepreneur myself.“
“Wow!!!! What an experience.we had. A young 22 year old server who was far beyond his years in service and maturity. His quiet service was appreciated and when he pulled out the crumb catcher! It took me back to fine dining in Cleveland in 1985. The food was equally as good. Thank you for a really fun dining experience. If we ever get back to Texas we will be back.“
“There’s treating yourself, and then there’s treating yourself in style! Stillwell’s is definitely the later. When you’re ready for a steak house that takes dining to another level, the 7th floor of the stunning Swexan hotel awaits you. The intimate Art Deco decor with hints of French decadence are perfect for the most romantic of dining experiences or closing big deals. An impressive Sommelier presentation is the perfect complement to the well curated, and affordable menu for wine enthusiasts and novice alike. Stillwell’s offers an array of elegant seating options throughout 3 spaces including a cozy balcony for their diverse clientele, ranging from the young and elegant to the seasoned perfectionist. I chose to dine centerstage, at the wonderfully stocked horseshoe shaped bar which comfortably seats 12. I can’t say enough about the staff; from the host to management; attention to detail, and every guest’s enjoyment is obviously their mission. I know you’ll have a wonderful time! See you at the bar XOXO Lorenzo!“

“This establishment has stood the test of time, having been a part of my experience since childhood in the 1990s. I consistently opt for their superb 10oz Ribeye steaks, maintaining a tradition that dates back to then. The proprietors consistently exhibit warmth and hospitality, contributing to an unbeatable atmosphere. It preserves a small yet significant fragment of Oak Cliff that remains untouched.“
“THIS Dunston's location has yet to disappoint. Great steak at a reasonable price, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere all contribute to an enjoyable meal. I've eaten here over half a dozen times and will continue. I highly recommend Dunston's of Harry Hines.“
