“Eating here was nothing short of amazing! My table was not ready at first, so the host directed me to the bar to have a drink and/or some appetizers. I went to the bar to have a cocktail known as The Diamond which was so nice and smooth. My table ended up being ready after 15 minutes after which I was directed to by the hostess downstairs. Ms. Debbie was my server and Mr. David assisted her. They were absolutely wonderful! They both very attentive, professional, and nice! They made my evening! All of the staff were wonderful! I had the Lobster bisque which was so smooth and creamy. I then had the central cut filet mignon which I asked to be butterflied and served with the famous Diane sauce on the side. I also had a half portion of the asparagus and mashed potatoes. All of the food was so delicious! I also had two strawberry lemon drops which were absolutely gorgeous! I would have tried dessert, but I was full after everything I had! I will be going back to eat at this restaurant when I go back to visit, and I will definitely try something on the dessert menu the next time around!“

“Five stars for Mac's on Main! My prime rib was one of the best I've ever had, and my husband loved his filet—both were generously portioned. From the hot bread and soft butter to the mandu and cocktails, everything was delicious. Our waiter, Emmanuel, was exceptionally attentive, patient, and accommodating. A highlight of our visit to Grapevine—we'd happily return!“

“Update from prior review.... The atmosphere and service continues to be amazing! Shelby is a kind and happy bartender that makes one heck of an old fashioned! Darian the other bartender made my first one and it was a 10! Both of them are wonderful! Bobby the service staff manager is funny and makes you feel like an old friend. Tell him star wars is better than star trek and you might have a debate on your hands! I had the 30oz porkchop and its no joke! The team in the kitchen have some sort of magic! I took the bones home because the public is not ready to see me chew away all the tender goodness from them. And the glaze is to die for! Michelle is a fun and well dressed character. “We visited SaltGrass Steak House in May 2025. We wanted the stereotypical steak, while we were on our short visit to Texas. This place did not disappoint. It is a Texas-themed steak house, which was exactly what we were seeking. The ambience is fun with a deep nod to the history of the state. The background music is quiet enough to permit conversation – which I found to be a lot more considerate than a number of other restaurants I have experienced nearby. There is a lot of Texas memorabilia on the walls, which was fun to look at. The food was outstanding. We tried some appetizers prior to our entrees. I can’t fault them. They were tasty and good value for money. Our entrees, the steaks, were perfect! If you want to taste “bliss” a visit to this place is highly advised. I hoped to sample the desserts but, because the appetizers and entrees were so delicious there was, sadly, no room. Gabe was our server. He was an absolute sweetheart. He was fun, friendly, and professional – and bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. I can’t speak highly enough of this young man. To top it off, during conversation, he revealed that he has served our country in the military, and that he is a veteran. Thank you for your service, young sir. (If you visit this establishment, I hope you have the good luck to be assigned to one of Gabe’s tables!) “Ate in the bar area at outback last night and it was the first time in a long time I've witnessed employees genuinely smiling and taking care of customers. Also saw the teamwork of they helping each other if someone needed something and their server was busy. Food was great but so refreshing to see happy employees!“

The food was decent, although I ordered my burger medium rare and it came out closer to medium, with some parts looking more medium well. That was a little disappointing, but overall the meal was still okay. The friendly service definitely made the experience better. Would still recommend giving them a try!“
