Fresh salads, delicious bread, large portions in a romantic, as well as family friendly environment. BYOB, plenty of parking, fast service and very reasonable prices. We recently hosted our daughter’s engagement party at Cafe Italia, with 22 adults and 4 children attending. Everything was perfect! Albert, Arturo, Patty and team were wonderful! Everyone loved it We will always consider Cafe Italia our favorite Grapevine area restaurant.“

“Eating here was nothing short of amazing! My table was not ready at first, so the host directed me to the bar to have a drink and/or some appetizers. I went to the bar to have a cocktail known as The Diamond which was so nice and smooth. My table ended up being ready after 15 minutes after which I was directed to by the hostess downstairs. Ms. Debbie was my server and Mr. David assisted her. They were absolutely wonderful! They both very attentive, professional, and nice! They made my evening! All of the staff were wonderful! I had the Lobster bisque which was so smooth and creamy. I then had the central cut filet mignon which I asked to be butterflied and served with the famous Diane sauce on the side. I also had a half portion of the asparagus and mashed potatoes. All of the food was so delicious! I also had two strawberry lemon drops which were absolutely gorgeous! I would have tried dessert, but I was full after everything I had! I will be going back to eat at this restaurant when I go back to visit, and I will definitely try something on the dessert menu the next time around!“

“Generous servings, the vegetables were all very fresh tasting and the chicken looked to me as only white meat which I prefer. The Tom Kha was the best we've had so far!! It was full of vegetables and we chose chicken for our protein. Even the broth alone was so so good! It comes with rice so definitely a filling meal unlike other places that I've tried. The Drunken Noodles had a perfect amount of thai basil which is always a winner! My fiance got it with chicken and shrimp level 2 spice. Everything is made without spice but you can pick a level 1-5 or just get the chili oil on the side and add more to your liking. I got the Pad Woon Sen level 1 spice with chicken and it was perfect for me.“

We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. “I recently ate here while visiting from out of town! It was the best meal I’ve had in years! The rolls were fresh and melted in my mouth! The meatloaf was amazing, able to taste every ingredient! The broccoli was steamed and perfect for my taste! The dessert was ice cream with blackberry cobbler! It was divine!!! My only bad thing was I would have enjoyed having a spoon instead! There was one waiter taking care of the front part of the restaurant that was on point the entire evening! He was very engaging with all of his patrons and kept everything clean! I can’t wait to find a location close to my home!“

Things have changed here and that’s a real win for Grapevine. This location has recently returned to onsite cooking, not just onsite prep. The difference in taste and freshness is amazing and long overdue to return the menu and experience to its former glory.
