“We highly recommend Cafe Italia (Ira Woods Grapevine location). Nick and his team are awesome. The food is amazing! Fresh salads, delicious bread, large portions in a romantic, as well as family friendly environment. BYOB, plenty of parking, fast service and very reasonable prices. We recently hosted our daughter’s engagement party at Cafe Italia, with 22 adults and 4 children attending. Everything was perfect! Albert, Arturo, Patty and team were wonderful! Everyone loved it We will always consider Cafe Italia our favorite Grapevine area restaurant.“

“I recently ate here while visiting from out of town! It was the best meal I’ve had in years! The rolls were fresh and melted in my mouth! The meatloaf was amazing, able to taste every ingredient! The broccoli was steamed and perfect for my taste! The dessert was ice cream with blackberry cobbler! It was divine!!! My only bad thing was I would have enjoyed having a spoon instead! There was one waiter taking care of the front part of the restaurant that was on point the entire evening! He was very engaging with all of his patrons and kept everything clean! I can’t wait to find a location close to my home!“

“Our entire visit was STELLAR. We wanted to treat our daughter to an experience at a fancy restaurant for her birthday. We chose Old Hickory Steakhouse after a dear friend recommended it to us. The entire experience was EXACTLY what she wanted and we definitely plan to come back! Debbie provided EXCEPTIONAL service and was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and helped me navigate selecting a meal that I could safely eat (I have many food sensitivities). She was very accommodating since we had never been to a restaurant of this caliber. She made the experience very special for my daughter's birthday!
Our high compliments to the chef as well because the food was EXCELLENT. I do not know what brand of gluten-free bread they use but it tastes like normal bread and was wonderful! My husband and daughter had the filet mignon and they were cooked perfectly! We also enjoyed the ceasar style grilled broccolini, yukon gold mashed potatoes, Old Hickory vegetable medley, and of course our daughter tried the Billionaires baked potato! Dessert was absolutely divine as well! Thank you so much for such a memorable visit!“

“The food and service were perfect! We enjoyed a cheese plate, some wine, and the prime rib dinner special. I wouldn't have changed anything. The prime rib was very tender and delicious, and the salad, baked potato and warm bread were all excellent. The cheese plate had a great variety of items. The key lime pie was also very good. Our server Alex anticipated everything we needed and did a fantastic job. The only negative was that the woman at the table next to us didn't know about using her "inside voice" in a restaurant, but that wasn't the restaurant's fault. She left as we were being served our entree, so it all worked out. Wonderful dinner and very nice evening!“

“Generous servings, the vegetables were all very fresh tasting and the chicken looked to me as only white meat which I prefer. The Tom Kha was the best we've had so far!! It was full of vegetables and we chose chicken for our protein. Even the broth alone was so so good! It comes with rice so definitely a filling meal unlike other places that I've tried. The Drunken Noodles had a perfect amount of thai basil which is always a winner! My fiance got it with chicken and shrimp level 2 spice. Everything is made without spice but you can pick a level 1-5 or just get the chili oil on the side and add more to your liking. I got the Pad Woon Sen level 1 spice with chicken and it was perfect for me.“

We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. “The atmosphere at Jake’s in Grapevine was relaxing and peaceful. Our waitress, Christy, was super helpful and courteous. Without me saying anything, Christy noticed that I did not care for the new drink I ordered and offered to replace it with something else, which she did. Throughout the evening, she checked on us and asked if we needed anything. Our food choices were tasty. My only change would be to use thinner bread for the grilled cheese sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised by how authentic it tasted—it reminded me of the Chicken Alfredo I had while traveling in Italy.

We learned that when going to Lolo‘s, you want to put yourself on the waiting list on the app before walking in, we waited two hours to be seated although the music was great and food was mighty tasty. Definitely comfort food. I highly recommend chicken and fish mashed potatoes and collard greens were off the chain Not to mention the cornbread. I have to say the food was definitely worth the wait!
