“This place is amazing I have been here multiple times since we moved here to Texas just 2 years ago. I had everything from the Japanese wagyu to the ribeye can't go wrong get the wagyu bone marrow and the ribeye steak absolutely terrific. All the sides are good cream of spinach, Roasted Brussel sprouts, Mac n cheese fried avocado fries all great. The apple wood smoked pork belly I get each time as an appetizer I been here with my wife we took my parents when they came to visit and recommended it as a spot to friends for birthdays as long as I'm in north Texas I will be dining here for excellent steak and Excellent service“

“My wife and I had a date night and wanted to try out Steve Fields Steakhouse in Plano Tx. I must say the atmosphere was perfect for an elegant date night. The drinks were perfect as well. My wife had the Steve’s Old Fashion and I had a Remy Martin VSOP. We started off with the Waygu Meatballs for our appetizer and it was fantastic. The sauce that accompanied the meatballs was lip smacking good! For our entrees we went with the fillet Mignon and New York Strip with a side of the loaded mash potato’s and fried onion strings. I ended up ordering the Steve’s Old fashion since the sip I took from my wife’s was delicious. We finished off with an espresso martini, which tasted like a dessert. It was sweet and creamy, a perfect to end the night. Our waiter Nolan treated us like it was a world class restaurant (which it was!). We will definitely revisit this establishment again! The manager also made sure everything was going well and we were enjoying ourselves. Kudos to you Mr. Steve Fields for a wonderful establishment. I loved it here, and will bring my family to enjoy the experience as well.“
“If I could eat Eddie vs weekly I would ! Absolutely my favorite restaurant . And it has been for over 13 years !!!The food is always absolutely amazing. The staff is beyond excellent ! The music on the weekends a VIBE .My favorite dish is the Norwegian salmon comes with peas and spinach ( no picture sorry ) the Mac n cheese is a 10/10 highly recommend. Crab cake is delicious! The waitress , customer service is 10 stars! The new location in Frisco is very impressive my 2nd time going . The original location odd off of oaklawn in Dallas is awesome as well of courseThis location in Frisco is beautiful and more intimate . The main location is bigger I believe and more spaced out and offers private rooms . “The food was fantastic but Sam our waitress elevated the dining experience to a new level. She was attentive but not pushy. She answered all our questions, even what type of grapes the ice wine was made with. The true star is a carrot, served as a tribute to his mother. The steaks and duck were great but the carrot was extraordinary. Most places can cook a prime cut steak but this carrot. It is simple and tender. Sweet but not overdone. I have eaten Berns in Tampa and Christner's Prime in Orlando and this place is on an equal footing.“
“I love this place! I thought it had shut down due to the failure of the nearby mall—but noooo! This place is hopping! The restaurant interior hasn’t been updated in a looooong time (if ever), but the food is great and the staff are so caring and kind and they will always try to make sure your meal is the way you want it. Manager emailed me the same night offering us their smaller private room with designated wait staff...we immediately agreed. Tried flights of bacon, Buffalo Trace products and did a steak flight for our table (45, 90 and 240 day dry aged steaks). Everything was cooked perfectly, staff and management were friendly and attentive while the private room was elegant, yet intimate enough for our group to talk and watch the boxing card for the night. Absolutely going back.“

She was kind, helpful, funny, and real. We enjoyed her very much. “This is 2 reviews in one.We try to make Mignon part of every visit to the Dallas area. We have recently been to Mignon twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. In both cases, the management and staff could not possibly have worked any harder to make our visit perfect. The service is always outstanding.We both ordered specials the night we went for dinner. I had the beef Wellington and my wife had the venison with some sort of blueberry sauce. Both dishes were excellent. We arrived fairly late but never felt at all rushed by the staff or servers even though we have appetizers, mains, and finally dessert and coffee.The second trip was for brunch. We thought we had made our selections from the online brunch menu but when we arrived we learned we could also order from the dinner menu AND there were also specials. Again, the service and food were excellent.I must mention that Mignon is expensive, but I always leave feeling very satisfied with the food and service received. The best reference I can make is that we are headed there again tomorrow for brunch.“

The quality of the food was remarkable. I highly recommend the BBQ baby back ribs; they were phenomenal. My wife had a steak, and it was simply fantastic. The service was outstanding. Unfortunately, I forgot the name of our server, but she was a young lady with glasses, and she made our day unforgettable. “After a long day traveling and after getting settled into the hotel it was time to grab a bite to eat. Del Frisco's Grille was a short walk and a few of us went over there. I wasn't too hungry after traveling but needed something to get me through the evening. I grabbed a Cheesesteak Eggroll off the happy hour menu as well as an Old Fashioned.A couple days later, our team decided to have our team lunch there and again we were not disappointed. The service, food, and atmosphere were great.Both were fantastic! I look forward to going back when I am in-town next year.“

The previous review below, There is a lunch portion (5 oz. Chicken breast) but you can get the dinner size at lunch as well. I've had both and the blooming chicken is definitely one of my favorites for lunch! If you read the lunch menu it will give you portion size, just order the dinner if you want a larger portion for lunch.Ps April is definitely a bonus. Nice to see her as soon as I walk in!“
