Outback Steakhouse Reviews
Outback was surprisingly good! I used to go to the one in Irving when I worked out that way, but the vibe had changed and I no longer enjoyed it. This experience was much better than expected. I went because I had an unused gift card. I'm very I glad I went now, and I will be back. The service was quick and remained fluid throughout. Employees top to bottom were friendly and attentive, even though it was a busy Sunday afternoon. The food was served in a reasonable time after appetizers,...read full review
Great steaks and awesome service.
After having several disappointing experiences at another location, we were hesitant going back to eat at an Outback but my granddaughter loves Outback so we decided to try another location (Prosper, TX). This visit completely changed our perspective and more than made up for the prior bad experiences. The location was clean and did not have an odor like some of the prior locations we had visited.

Outback Steakhouse offers a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff and a pleasant ambiance. Many guests appreciate the inviting environment and the murals showcasing Prosper. The restaurant is known for its delicious food, especially steaks like the ribeye, which some diners describe as the best they've ever had. Visitors also enjoy signature dishes such as the blooming onion, although some find it too oily and greasy. The menu features a variety of meals, including the Chimichurri Filet and the 8 Oz Sirloin, with the sirloin being well-seasoned and cooked medium rare, despite some concern about it not being very hot. The baked potato can sometimes be overdone, but overall, the meals are satisfying. The combo meals are popular, often including the Blue Cheese Pecan salad, which is highly praised as excellent. For dessert, cheesecake with chocolate drizzle is commonly ordered, though occasionally served with raspberry drizzle by mistake.
Service quality varies but often stands out with attentive and friendly servers. One server was highlighted as one of the best in the area, providing attentiveness and great personality. Management is generally praised for their helpfulness, especially when issues with food arise. For example, when a steak was served incorrectly twice, the floor manager offered to remove it from the bill, and the overcooked blooming onion was also taken off. Prices are comparable to nearby restaurants like Roadhouse, with a typical meal costing just over $30 per person. Guests often express a willingness to return, especially when staff are attentive and food quality remains high. Overall, Outback Steakhouse is seen as a good option for steaks and a pleasant dining experience.
