“I visited this place once with my partner back in winter of 2024, and returned today for a Mother’s Day dinner with my mom.

Their menu changes seasonally, which I find unique. They also boast all the ingredients being locally sourced, which is also a fun concept.

Note that parking can be limited, and you may need to park along the roads alongside.

Our waitress was kind and welcoming for Mother’s Day. We tried the chicken & spaetzel for my mom and the 1843 filet for myself. My steak was cooked well, I just wish it had been a bit more flavorful. My mom really liked her dish and I did as well. The chicken in particular was lovely. It did take us over 45 min to receive our food, but I attribute that to the busy holiday.

The choco pie was huge and worth the amount I paid for it. The crust was prone to falling apart though so be prepared to make a mess!

Speaking on my memories from 2 years ago, I’d gotten chicken piccata which had a sauce similar to the spaetzel. It was much better this time around, and didn’t have red pepper, which I strongly dislike. The concept was very similar. At the time, my partner had gotten a meat pie of some kind that he still raves about. This was winter 2024, so not the same menu.

Overall, it’s a cute place and a cute concept. Note that A) this is not the place for someone picky, as the dishes are a bit experimental, and B) the prices are a bit above average. More of a special occasion type of place. Make sure you make a reservation!”

“First visit to celebrate our Anniversary! Atmosphere and service was great. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The creamed corn-off-the-cobb was to die for as was the III Forks Salad. We were surprised by a complimentary Anniversary dessert too!”

“This was a cool little find. We were treated like royalty by our server Rachel for being first-timers. The venue itself is cute with an outdoor patio in addition to indoor booths and tables. The French Onion Soup was very tasty and a bit different - topped with puff pastry rather than cheese, but the cheese was still nice and gooey inside the soup. My wife said her tenderloin salad was good. We both enjoyed her blackberry smash. We live in Garland so we won't get there often, but it will stay in our radar when we're in the area.”

“Had lunch there this afternoon and absolutely loved the food, the service and the ambiance. Their meat was very tender and seasoned perfectly. This was our first visit, but definitely not our last. We considered two other Texas Brazilian Steakhouses before we landed on EG, mostly due to location. But after trying them it, they will probably become my new go to Brazilian Steakhouse. “We held our end of year dinner for a middle school cheer team and Mike was amazing to work with. We arrived and met with one of our servers right away who helped us set up the area like we wanted. We had 2 servers and they were both attentive, the food came out quickly and delicious like any other time we’ve visited the establishment. I love this place and the fresh made from scratch food. The Summer Berry Salad, Steak Sandwich are a few of my favorites! I don’t think you can go wrong by ordering anything on the menu. The girls and parents had an amazing time!”

“I reserved the upstairs level for a private birthday dinner for my husband. We had 16 guests and everyone commented on the cool and fun vibe of the restaurant. The food, drinks, and service were all excellent. The manager, Michael, was very accommodating from initial booking to the night of our event. He made sure we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Snowbird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen. They also have a really great weekday happy hour! We will be back!”

“I saw this place reccomended on TikTok and decided to try it out and do not regret it! The place was lovely and our server, Luigi, I believe his name was, was absolutely incredible. Super friendly and attentive despite us not being his only table. Everything in the restaurant was clean and pretty, and the atmosphere was inviting. The food was incredible, and I particularly enjoyed the tiramisu. The strawberries that came with it was just so delicious and balanced the whole meal out. “My favourite barbecue place in the local area. My recommendation is brisket sandwich. It’s absolutely delicious.
If you have dogs, you can sit outside with the dogs . Staff bring your dog water and sometimes treats and make you and your fur-baby feel welcome. They also bring you complimentary chips while you’re waiting for your food. Stuff are always friendly. I really love this place.”

“Looks like my review did not post. My son and I went to this location tonight. And even though the food was not the best, we could not have had better service and waitress! Her name is Heather and she is truly amazing. Her concern for the customer, attitude and overall kindness is something you normally will not receive at a restaurant. She really did care amd went over and beyond! She has been with IHOP for about 2 weeks and this company better do whatever needs to be done to keep Heather. This review format includes a lot of questions which do not apply to this establishment. My major complaint is that without any notification we were charged for extra salsa for our breakfast burrito. I find that very irritating as we paid $13.95 for a burrito and the extra salsa incurred extra cost. Not good customer service in my opinion. ( with or without notification)”

The only minor drawback is that the seating is not the most comfortable if you plan to stay for a long work session. I was a bit overwhelmed by the numerous options available to me (as a vegetarian for 30+ years, usually a fairly limited selection at a burger joint), but Bentley reassured me I could build any combination I’d like. I went with the Vegan Patty (freshly made in house), w/cheddar cheese, crispy onion straws, ketchup, lettuce & jalapeño chutney on the side. It was Effing PERFECTION! I’m so glad we stopped here, huge shout out to Bentley on being exactly what we love in our server: Genuinely friendly, helpful & attentive- you ROCK!”

Their kolaches and klabosneks are the best. (Kolache has fruit, klabosneks have meat.)
Way better than the Factory chain - not as many options, but ham n chz to ham n chz, way better.
Also family owned so no big corp you’re feeding.
Give them a try if in the area.”

“We celebrated my sister’s birthday at The Glen and overall, the meal was very tasty. The ambiance was nice and our waitress, Vivica, was absolutely awesome—attentive, friendly, and professional. She truly elevated our experience. However, our evening took a very unfortunate turn due to a brawl that broke out during our visit. Glasses were thrown, and it quickly escalated into a dangerous situation that required a police response and a hostile takedown of those involved. It was alarming and unsettling to witness. What disappointed me most was the lack of response from management. No one came to our table to check on us or offer any kind of acknowledgment of what we had just endured. While I understand that the incident was beyond their control, some form of consideration or gesture—like a discount or even a sincere apology—would have shown respect and appreciation for their patrons' safety and comfort. Great food and stellar service from Vivica, but the lack of management accountability in such a distressing moment left a sour note on an otherwise special evening.”

“Me and my husband had booked a reservation last night and everything was fine up until our service, our waitress kept eyeing my husband and even went as far as leaving hearts all over our receipt, the behavior continued and she made it a point to only look at my husband when taking my order, I felt extremely disrespected. The food was okay me and my husband both ordered the filet mignon medium rare but it came back almost completely raw. Everything else was fine and will eat there again.”

For some reason, this sushi is some of the best sushi I’ve had in the entire country (meaning I didn’t expect to find the best sushi in Frisco TX!). For context, I also live in Las Vegas, where food is flown in fresh every day and has some of the best restaurants in the world. Still, this sushi will beat other restaurants out of the water with their quality. The service is also very personable, efficient, and welcoming. I will definitely be coming back to this place and recommending it to all my family and friends. Five stars!”
