“Anytime I am in the Frisco area, I make sure to stop by here and get my Japanese curry fix! First finding Coco Ichibanya in Tokyo back in 2016 and falling in love with the food, and then finding it throughout Taiwan and then in LA and finally unbelievably one opens up in Plano Texas!! If you haven't tried it out yet do so!! The staff is super nice esp the manager who always treats myself and my family with the utmost respect. Food is piping hot and the flavor is what makes Coco Ichibanya what it's all about!“

“I really like their hibachi. Best hibachi I have ever eaten so far. My family also likes to go and eat here. It’s not a top tier restaurant, but it shouldn’t be. It’s really nice place for express one with tasty food for a reasonable price and convenient service, which I definitely recommend.“

“Came to Madai Sushi today for the first time. I was with a group of business owners and they were gracious and accommodated our large group. The service was great and the food was excellent. I had the Tom Ka soup. I am very particular with my soup and this was some of the best I’ve ever had. I am definitely going back. Can’t wait to try more of their food. We’ve been their customers for many years since the previous owner, our favorite roll is the Snoke roll and you’ll never go wrong with the toro, yellowtail, salmon and the sushi bomb!The new owner is really sweet and he did a fantastic job on running this place. A small yet quaint restaurant tucked away if you are not looking for this place you would probably miss it which is so unfortunate because the service and food quality we received was A1. We have only been once and have yet to return but once we do if the review needs to be updated to provide a different experience I will do so. If you're looking for good Japanese food that is not a disappointment this is a good one to go to! We ordered a variety of food for lunch including sushi and everything was good! “Food is absolutely amazing in taste and presentation, and I've had multiple different things on the menu and they're all good. The staff is very nice and I've only had positive experiences every time I go. Not to mention I like the look & vibe of the place and the fact that they play anime on their TV's is just another plus. “We drove to 4 different places looking for hibachi, and finally found this gem! Every other restaurant didn’t have grills where they cook for you. The prices were great and our servers were awesome.

The only thing I will say is we thought it was strange that it costs an extra $3 for fried rice on every plate at the hibachi table, or else you only got steamed rice- no noodle option either.“

“Wow! The bowls were great. Everything was fresh and a good amount of food. They have plenty of choices for your bowls and just as many choices in sushi rolls. They are very reasonably priced. If you go during their happy hour 2-5 then you can get some killer inexpensive rolls. We tried their Salmon Skin roll. It was really good. We will definitely be back. If you like sushi and want to try something a little different go and give them a shot.“
