“This place is the best sushi in town; and the ramen, bento boxes, mochi icecream, curry and robata are also really good. The staff is really on point as well--all Japanese. Our favorite rolls are the Golden Bridge Roll, ninja roll, and the spicy tuna tataki. We've eaten here 5 times in the last quarter and will keep coming back.“
“An exceptional restaurant and dining experience! Personal attention from the chef/owner and co-owner. The food is creative, elegant, surprising. The touch is subtle and balanced. Oh yeah, delicious, too! I left so full I didn’t eat for 12 hours, but that’s my fault …“
“Mike the owner is very down to earth and takes the time to talk with the guests there. He even takes orders and runs food himself. I can tell his heart is definitely in the restaurant, and he has trained his staff very well to be friendly and responsive. Food was a delight as well, and is the closest thing you can get to cocos in Japan. I will definitely be making the hour drive again soon!Kid-friendliness: Great menu for little kids. My son is only 16 months and I was worried he wasn’t going to like what they had there. Little did I know they had an amazing menu for toddlers consisting of chicken nuggets, fries, Mac n cheese, with a side of curry and rice! Very accommodating.“
“A HIDDEN GEM!! I absolutely love it here. Authentic Japanese cuisine, very small intimate seating & atmosphere. The sweetest staff… the food is incredible and service is personable. They also have a great omakase you’ll need to notify ahead of time definitely recommend if you’re not familiar with what to order.“
“Our absolute favorite place for sushi, noodles, apps and desserts! They have a great kids menu and sushi for happy hour. The food is fresh and our waiter Eliot is always super friendly! They even offer specialty vegan roll (Bangkok roll) which is my fav!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Great kids menu with multiple options (chicken, fish, noodles, etc)“
“this is my favorite place to go and eat some delicious reasonably priced hibachi! i can’t stop thinking about the salad with the delicious ginger dressing! i am more than happy to spend my money here. my daughter drew a picture for them and the staff displays it right up front! i can’t stop coming to osaka for the delicious healthy food and the salad. this is my favorite place outside of church.Kid-friendliness: they cater to kids when doing the birthdays and hibachi. my kids always get a balloon from the staff each time it’s so sweet and cute.“
“Upon perusing their extensive menu, I was drawn to their selection of cooked rolls, each promising a symphony of flavors that would tantalize the taste buds. As I embarked on my culinary journey, I found myself enchanted by the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail evident in every dish. The first roll I sampled was the Dragon Roll. A true masterpiece, it boasted a perfect balance of succulent shrimp tempura, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber, all enveloped in a delicate layer of sushi rice and crowned with slices of fresh, buttery eel. The interplay of textures and flavors was nothing short of divine, leaving me craving for more with each blissful bite. Next up was the Spider Roll, a delightful concoction that showcased the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. Featuring crispy soft-shell crab, crunchy cucumber, and velvety avocado, this roll was a symphony of contrasting textures and harmonious flavors, elevated by a drizzle of tangy eel sauce and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. However, the true star of the show was undoubtedly the Volcano Roll. As its name suggests, this roll erupted with bold, fiery flavors that left me utterly mesmerized. A delectable combination of spicy tuna, creamy crab, and crisp tempura flakes, all wrapped in a blanket of rice and topped with a decadent layer of torched spicy mayo, it was a culinary spectacle that ignited my senses and left me craving for more. To complement my meal, I indulged in a selection of their expertly crafted cocktails, each meticulously crafted to enhance the flavors of the dishes. From the refreshing citrus notes of the Yuzu Martini to the subtle sweetness of the Lychee Sake-tini, each sip was a revelation, further elevating my dining experience to new heights. In conclusion, my experience at Bluefin was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, every aspect of my visit surpassed my expectations. If you're a discerning food lover in search of an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Bluefin. Trust me; your taste buds will thank you.“
“I really like their hibachi. Best hibachi I have ever eaten so far. My family also likes to go and eat here. It’s not a top tier restaurant, but it shouldn’t be. It’s really nice place for express one with tasty food for a reasonable price and convenient service, which I definitely recommend.“
“We ordered 2 dinner specials($25 total), 2 spicy tuna rolls, Red&White (top) and the Spider roll. Our rolls were delicious, generously filled, the layer of rice was fluffy/thin and didn't fall apart when picking it up. While we ordered out, the inside was clean and modern and the staff was friendly. I'll be back ASAP and recommend a visit if you're nearby.“
“We were pleasantly surprised! It was our first time and the sushi was delicious! We got the French kiss, rainbow, angry wife, and spicy salmon. Everything was fresh and tasted great. My husband doesn’t usually like imitation crab in his rolls but he loved every roll we ordered here. The noodles were ok. Highly recommend this place! We’ll definitely be back. It’s also super cute! The servers are kind and friendly.Kid-friendliness: They have booster seats and high chairs- super convenient.“
“It is one of our favorite sushi spots. Great service, food came really fast and everyone was pleased. Not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. One tho g on ambiance, ownership have to renovate the seating (ripped) and the entrance ornaments have some missing items.“
“My husband and I have lived in Dallas for over 20 years and this is by far one of the best Japanese ramen places we have ever eaten at!Their ramen here is very authentic, just like what we eat in Japan. The special sushi rolls are also delicious and look beautiful. We ordered the Muteki roll, which was like a work of art, so much so that we were reluctant to eat it !This place has bright décor with a high-ceilinged space that allows you to dine happily in a relaxed atmosphere. The price is also very reasonable, so you can enjoy high-end food at an average price. We will definitely come back to eat here often because it is so good! “Came for the grand opening. Was a neat atmosphere with decor and general vibe. Their menu is very diverse and appetizers are reasonable. I got the shrimp and chicken hibachi. Sauces were good, nice sized portion, and the chicken flavor was the star. Husband loved the direction of the Japanese grill and said they hit the nail on the head. Would be interested to come back and try a different entree.“
“Ramen and Udon are filled with so much flavor! saw the nikugen akai udon recommended from a video, it's so worth it! Love creamy broths, and the spice is just enough where it doesn't take away from the flavors.Staff was super nice and on top of everything!“
“Always consistent and delicious. Great value. The wait staff is always super friendly and have great recommendations if you're not quite sure what to order. The off menu items on the chalk board are worth trying. We tried the kanpachi sashimi and it was amazing. This place is one of our favorites for great sushi.“
“Slow Sunday, which is surprising because to food was so good and affordable. Sushi chef and staff were all very sweet and kind. Fish was fresh, rolls were made beautifully. Def will visit again next time I am in the area. Keep up the good work!“
“I've heard lots of positive feedback about this restaurant & finally had a chance to try them out last night. I had the eel roll & the spider roll and both were very good. I will definitely be back to try out some more items on their menu!“
“First the quality- it's borderline inedible. Very very cheap. The minced crab/imitation crab mix is worse than grocery store sushi. The service is non-existent, but that's the whole premise of the place I guess. Thirdly, the lady taking orders and collecting payment is rude and condescending. First and last time we're setting foot there.“
“I'm 30 weeks pregnant and the two rolls on the outside are both cooked and they were amazing!! The frisco roll was out of this world. The Crab Rangoon was phenomenal, made to order (some places don't do that) in other words was super hot and fresh when brought to the table, that sauce it came with was soooo good I ended up dipping my sushi in that sauce. Service was average, no complaints. My friend and I left very satisfied and full! Will be going back“
“Always been a favorite. This time the Mardi Gras roll had very little crawfish and caviar on the top and it was not warm. The crawfish topping use to be warm and lots of caviar - it's my favorite roll and I would like to see it return to its former glory.“
“My mom and I came to sushi Damu for our weekly mommy monday today, everything was great! the Ahi tower was definitely a standout. salmon sushi was sooo fatty and great too. we did the AYCE: such a great deal! our server was busy but attentive and friendly. would definitely recommend for a small group dinner “
“You’ll be surprised by the low prices of the menu items. So surprised that you’ll order a lot of food. Then something that was an inexpensive post workout meal turns into the amount of a mini grocery bill. The food was good but I can’t say it’s something that’s worth writing about. One negative was the Miso soup it was WAY too salty. One positive was that the Seaweed Salad was fresh and had no slime pooling at the bottom. As far as sushi goes it was average. Nothing special here just another sushi restaurant, no experience, no amazing anything. It’s really new and clean good for dates and lunches.“
“It’s a good place that’s kind of tucked away next to the freeway. Restaurant is clean and spacious. They have a lot of fun and creative rolls / maki so would suggest ordering some of that. Really good place for the kids during the day if they’re into easy to eat sushi. ?Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly for daytime lunch“
“Really good Japanese spot in Frisco/Little Elm area. It’s pricy but worth it at least once. The Chilean sea bass was probably the best Chilean sea bass I’ve had at a restaurant. Really good sushi, too (handroll and nigiri). The espresso martini was amazing. All the food we had was great (we ordered a lot).Shoutout to the green tea mochi ice cream and chocolate cake. Loved both of those desserts!“
