“We have been coming to Maru Ramen for several years. They never disappoint. Their food and service has consistently stay the same. It’s amazing which keeps us coming back for more. We have recommended this restaurant to our friends and anyone looking to quench their hunger for ramen.Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly as well and have other options other than ramen.“
“Bulldog has the best Katsu in the town. The price is reasonable! All the side dishes are well cooked and delicious! My six year loves their Katsu too! The dine in is spacious and calming. The owner has a great eye contact and polite with smile.“
“The guys there are the most amazing ones. They might be busy, and I mean BUSY, yet they smile, crack a joke and make you feel welcome and appreciated. Best Ahi Tower, best edamame, always fresh and they also accommodate. I order towers for the family and one is always with the spicy on the side, they never ever ask or hesitate to change. Little hidden gem. I love this place and loved it for many years now.“
“I was passing by this place, it was cold and rainy day. Nothing can warm up your heart and soul like hot Tonkotsu soup. Edward, owner of the restaurant was so nice. They don’t open till 5 pm. I was there little early and he let me in. I ordered Tonkotsu Soup, it is the best Ramen Soup in town. The service and food is 5 stars “
“I went to this gym this morning at about 9:30 a.m. and let me tell you it definitely did not disappoint. The food was great, the drinks were amazing and even service was great it's not every day you get all three of those things wrapped in one place we will definitely be back.“
“The three of us ordered chicken karaage, shishito peppers, chirashi dinner, sushi/sashimi dinner, salmon skin handroll, and o-toro nigiri. The chicken karaage and shishito peppers were both well prepared and tasty but were very small portion size. They were not suitable for sharing.Sushi and sashimi dinner had good fresh fish and the presentation was beautiful. The better value, though, was the chirashi dinner plate. It appeared to have as much variety and similar amount of fish but was 30% cheaper. The salmon skin handroll was average and the o-toro was good but not worth the price. For example, two small nigiri pieces were more expensive than the entire chirashi dinner. The service was spotty. They were clearly short-handed and we had to wait awhile to grab the server's attention.Overall, we were impressed with the quality of the food, the presentation, as well as the great atmosphere.“
“The place was very cozy and the workers were very nice and friendly. The food was amazing and melting to the mouth. I would 10/10 recommend this place for a friend or family gathering with food that would fulfill your hunger. The food is worth the price too.Kid-friendliness: They treat you with manner and kindness. With that kindness comes good food, that are not only pleasing to the mouth but stomach and heart too. They treat their customers with care and love.“
“SO. DELICIOUS. I ordered their chicken katsu bento box, and every single item is so fresh. The chicken is super juicy, the sushi, salad, and fried tempura were on point. I also really appreciate how they took the time to package everything so neatly. For example, I ordered a sprite, and they put the bottle of sprite and a cup of ice in a separate bag. Definitely ordering from Kansha again!“
“The owner owns the restaurant for more than 30 years. Both chefs have worked with her for years. One chef is 71 years old and the other is 81 years old. The food taste like home! We really enjoy the food, and have been visiting since 2007. The sauce of spicy dumplings is home made by the owner! You can only taste it here! The must order is three cups intensities and Taiwanese popcorn chicken! Of course, Taiwanese pork stews rice.“
“Love coming to this place. I've been here many times, and the food is great, and I enjoy the chill, energetic atmosphere they provide. The drink selection is fantastic, and there are so many ways to customize your food over a wide range of diets.“
“if you’re looking for teriyaki chicken this is the place you need to go! its not fatty like most of the time at other places. they have spicy (not burn your tongue off spicy, but the perfect amount of kick) and regular. also a bunch of other good stuff but their teriyaki sauce is so delish!!! you get alot for how much you pay. 10/10!!“
“Place has great food. Service in person is amazing but online delivery pick up took a while for me. I arrived after getting a text that the food was ready. It wasn't. Took like 30 minutes to get my food. Arrived home and the food had a missing order. Called and they help me out w the refund. Amazing place just had 1 bad experience only.“
“I love this place! Such a neat experience and the food is sooo sooo good! Let the server add your spices to your sauces! The peanut n ponzu are my favorite! I usually get the miso broth, choice ribeye, Pork Berkshire, Salmon, and udon noodles. ?“
“I love this place ? the food is always amazing and I went for my birthday and they were very kind. Unfortunately, they were short staffed so the wait time was much longer than usual and they need an actual bartender, the drinks were made poorly, but in the staffs defense, it was literally only 2 of them for the entire restaurant, so I still would go and enjoy the great food. But they desperately need help!“
“Took the family here on Sunday for dinner. Masami is in our top three favorite Japanese spots in Richardson. We had some dobin mushi, salmon cheeks, homemade donuts, smelt fish, rolls for the kids and salmon sashimi. If you're near the area, I highly encourage you to give them a try.*It's a cozy atmosphere. I'd suggest making reservations, especially on the weekends.**Special dining room is available-sunken table where you sit in a traditional atmosphere.“
