“Kome is a great choice for sushi dinner in the area. The yellowtail asian pear plate is so delicious, and I highly recommend it. We were also recommended to try the kinki sashimi by our server and it was really delightful: very fatty and creamy and scrumptious. Their hand rolls were just okay. The protein roll was surprisingly delicious given the soy paper wrap. Environment was nice albeit a bit dark. The wooden chairs that we had were a little uncomfortable to sit on and kind of dig into your legs a little after sitting for a while.“

“First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“Always good and consistent. The staff is family and they really know and care about theor business and customers. Have been going here since they opened. Wveryone i take is a repeat customer of theirs after experiencing it. Always fresh and they have some offerings that vary. Ask the chef what he recommends and he will ateer you tobthe best he has to offer based on availability.

7 years later after new owners.....
We were so excited to go here we moved to east tx 4 years ago. Went in and did not realize it was new owners. Ordered tuna roll, eel rool ( all simple to do) wife got a few other more expensive rolls that had cream cheese in them. The cream cheese tasted like smoked cream cheese. Really?! Was not good. Tuna tasted fishy. Eel was not good. The other rolls were not good with the smokey flavor, YUCK! Also had the appetizer with octopus. It was extremely rubbery. The wasabi was bland at best. I love wasabi and could have used the whole dollop on one piece of sushi without any effect. The soy sauce tasted watered down flavorless. Over all the best thing we had were the steamed edamami. Nothing was fresh. The first owner chef would go and pick out his fish himself to make sure it was fresh. Never had a bad meal before. This time the whole meal was bad. The waitress was nice and attentive. We won't be going back to them next time we are in allen plano area. Rather go to Bluefish and thats not a compliment to Bluefish. This place wont last long. Surprised it has lasted this long from some of the reviews with food poisoning.“

“Place has a wonderful touch to it.Love that I can order through the ipad instead.the cheese katsu bento box is my favorite I love miso soup and the dumplings that come with it super yummy!

The sauces give the cheese katsu and the white rice a good taste and recommend it!

Curry was not my favorite but then again I personally dislike curry because its super strong but for people that love curry definitely try it has lots of curry options!

I also enjoy there little station where your free to pick up your own sauce/spoon/fork and etc.“

“My GO TO spot to introduce my friends and family to Sushi! The rolls are massive and have great value. Everything is soooo fresh as well! Tonight I walked in 30 minutes till close to place a take out order and everyone was so nice :) I’ll continue to be a lifelong customer!“

“This is a staple for us. We love getting sushi to-go and also enjoy the fried rice as well as some of the appetizers. They are very friendly and although at times it can get a little busy, good sushi isn't made fast. So just order ahead of time! Really nice guy who runs the place and the chef in the back is excellent as well!“

“My fiance and I we LOVE coming here. We’re new the state and it took a while to find a sushi restaurants. Until April we found this spot and we were impressed by the quality of their sushi rolls! We love this place. We try come here once a week whenever we are around this area. The service here is amazing that even the waitress and the chef knows who we are! “cute little japanese restaurant. i just did take out and got the sando sampler and strawberry matcha sando.

DEF recommend the fruit sando. the matcha cream specifically WAS SO GOOD and there was a chill matcha flavor there. strawberries really sweet and fresh.

- egg sando IM SO SORRY is kinda mid but ok if u want to try a little bit of everything. if you’ve been to japan it’s not going to be the same as 7/11 and that’s ok. just know that if that’s what you are looking for. it’s not as creamy and more scrambled egg texture.
- katsu and spicy katsu chicken. these two were pretty good. i really liked the slaw part i think it paired nicely with the fried meat. the spicy sando was my favorite and all the flavors really came together

for the size of the sandos, it is a little on the pricier side. def have to try out at least once though. i would wanna try some of their dishes out or another type of fruit sando.“

“Drove by this place so many times and finally tried it today. Wish I had a long time ago. I got the steak and chicken hibachi. It was absolutely delicious. Steak was very high quality, chicken was yummy, broccoli just like I like it, even the zucchini was perfect and it takes alot to make me eat zucchini. Highly recommend“

As a vegan, I get the tofu teriyaki and my mom loves the shrimp or beef teriyaki, and it truly never disappoints!

She let us know she could make our bowls spicy if we wanted. I got the Bibimbap bowl and it was sooo yummy, fresh and such a big portion. My bf got the chicken & beef teriyaki bowl.
