“I love sushi, and the food at this restaurant is very good. The ingredients are also very fresh. The most important thing to eat Japanese food is the freshness of the ingredients. Especially raw food. The sushi at this restaurant is quite delicious. The combination of soy sauce and rice, in addition to fresh ingredients. It is simply delicious. Highly recommended to everyone.“

Lost chef? IDK. What a pleasant surprise. Our first visit was such a joy. Hanakin has created a wonderful destination. Pleasant and attentive staff greets you to a beautiful new Japanese restaurant. Yes, with great sounding jazz playing in the background. So cool! Everything we ordered was shared ( including the seafood Ramen) so we could try several items on the menu. Everything was so so good. Quite possibly the best Japanese cuisine we ever experienced. Not kidding. For our last ordered item we requested chef to just make us something memorable and oh my heavens did he ever. The Futomaki roll he sent was the best sushi roll we ever ate. (See pic) All agreed. We can't wait to come back.

“cute little japanese restaurant. i just did take out and got the sando sampler and strawberry matcha sando.

DEF recommend the fruit sando. the matcha cream specifically WAS SO GOOD and there was a chill matcha flavor there. strawberries really sweet and fresh.

- egg sando IM SO SORRY is kinda mid but ok if u want to try a little bit of everything. if you’ve been to japan it’s not going to be the same as 7/11 and that’s ok. just know that if that’s what you are looking for. it’s not as creamy and more scrambled egg texture.
- katsu and spicy katsu chicken. these two were pretty good. i really liked the slaw part i think it paired nicely with the fried meat. the spicy sando was my favorite and all the flavors really came together

for the size of the sandos, it is a little on the pricier side. def have to try out at least once though. i would wanna try some of their dishes out or another type of fruit sando.“

“Went by on a Friday night and surprised to see very few people when we walked in. Walter and staff was very friendly. Nice atmosphere, and the sushi was great! We had a salmon tower and giant sushi burrito. Both were awesome!! I’m not typically a sushi fan but this was delicious and a really great dinner. We’ll be back next time we want sushi! Recommended!“

Parking: Plenty of open parking. The lot is also clean.

Kid-friendliness: Everyone is kind and welcoming. There are kid friendly food options as well as kid friendly shops.“

“I had this for the first time a few months ago and I was in heaven I’m not a big ramen guy but that broth has me fiendish and I’ll be back in a few days. “Their food is healthy and yummy. A lot of choices. You can make your own bowl. Don’t miss their chasu (roasted pork). They are so tender. Their Hong Kong style milk tea is a must try. They are much tasty than the bubble milk tea. If you like the aroma of tea more than sugar. Their Hong Kong milk tea will blow your mind. The lemon tea is also great. 852 Cafe has just joined them recently. Check out their menu . You will see the food you won’t find in other restaurants.“

“Easily the best ramen I've had in the Collin County area. Hell even the price has beaten inflation! You can't get any better ramen by far. Their broth is just simply different. The noodles are the best rice noodles I've ever have. And this place stays open till 2 am everday?? It's heaven for late night folks. Definitely one of the best restaurants around in general. Their service is still quick as can be and their staff DO take their jobs seriously. With a lot of care and heart. Not many places if any have that type of worth ethic left 🤧“

Our server, Hannah, was truly the highlight of our visit. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and efficient from beginning to end. She made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed or forgotten. She checked on us at just the right times, kept everything organized, and was always happy to answer our questions. You could tell that she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience.

Our food came out fresh, hot, and beautifully presented, and everything we ordered was delicious. The service was quick, the staff was welcoming, and the entire experience felt smooth and enjoyable.

“Since this restaurant is in a food court, there’s no table service, and the ambiance is just what you’d expect from a typical Japanese food court. The pork chops were perfectly crispy, though a bit lean for my taste—I personally prefer a fattier cut. That said, it was still a great lunch, and the fried oysters were equally delicious. I’d definitely come back for another meal!“

“Our server, Tommy, was exceptional! He was warm, attentive, and his attention to detail made my birthday dinner (and first time dining at Uchiko) so special.

We were unfortunately running late to our reservation but the staff were so accommodating and welcoming. The Uchiko team and kitchen also did an excellent job accommodating our friend's allergy and offered many vegan/vegetarian alternatives and modifications to dishes.

The shrimp karaage, lychee martini, and brussels sprouts were excellent.

Overall, Uchiko is a great choice for a birthday dinner, celebration, date night, or just really good food and service.“

“We come here as often as we can! Before we had kids, we started going to the location on Wycliff, but moved north later on when we bought a home. Plano has been our Oishii home since then.

We spent our 9th wedding anniversary here, and Sean had a personalized note waiting for us, and it seemed everyone working there got the memo, because everyone wished us a happy anniversary too. This is to say nothing about the food, which was flawless, as usual. Thanks for a memorable night.“
