“In my continued endeavor to highlight good restaurant experiences, I found myself in an Asian food court in Allen Texas. I was quite surprised by the location of this restaurant at first, however, the amazing aromas that followed quickly settled my concerns. I was pleased with the food and found it quite tasty, but what really stood out to me was the hospitality. The gentleman standing behind the counter taking my order always had a smile on his face and genuinely seemed to be enjoying his job. His hospitality was immaculate and genuinely made my day. I would definitely recommend ramen kabukiya to anyone in the area.“

She is truly such a joy to see and radiates such positive energy. She is very attentive, professional, and never fails to go above and beyond. “Second time here with the family, this time before my daughter’s volleyball game at Fieldhouse, and we had another really good experience.

The food and atmosphere are both great, and the complimentary fried wontons are such a nice touch. We tried a little bit of everything — ramen, buns, tempura and takoyaki — and it was all really good. The only thing that was just OK for us was the grilled squid.

Service was good, everyone left happy and full, and it’s really starting to feel like this could become our go-to spot before volleyball games.

“With the recent ramen boom, finding tonkotsu ramen in the US isn't rare anymore. But as someone from Kyushu—the birthplace of tonkotsu—I can say that the broth here is the real deal. It’s the authentic, original tonkotsu soup done right.

“Has variety of options for my food mood! Singapore noodles, gyoza, Korean bbq bento box, ramen noodles, salmon sashimi, sushi are several I cycle through as my faves! They expanded their business and I saw another section that looks like it’s karaoke or something. Haven’t tried that yet. Great food, friendly service, decent prices.“

“We’ve been coming here for about a year ever since we discovered the beef udon, and it quickly became a favorite for our whole family. We would come specifically for the beef udon because we really loved it.

Unfortunately, a little while ago the restaurant changed the minced beef to sliced steak, and we were already disappointed with that change. Today, we found out that the beef udon has been completely removed from the menu.

It’s really unfortunate because that was the main reason we kept coming back. We understand that menus change, but we’re sad to see our favorite dish go. Unfortunately, we’ll now have to look for another place that serves a similar beef udon. We really hope they consider bringing it back someday.“

“My fiance and I we LOVE coming here. We’re new the state and it took a while to find a sushi restaurants. Until April we found this spot and we were impressed by the quality of their sushi rolls! We love this place. We try come here once a week whenever we are around this area. The service here is amazing that even the waitress and the chef knows who we are! Kanasha Japanese Sushi Bistro will be our go to sushi restaurant!“

“I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“We've been several times, and it never disappoints! The ramen is flavorful and packed with delicious ingredients. We've tried several different types and spice levels, and let me tell you, they are perfect! The spice levels aren't just hot; they are hot with flavor! It also delivers good. They pack it perfectly. 🍜“

“Delicious “fireside cooking” or Robatayaki in which items of food on skewers are slow-grilled over hot charcoal. Liver, hart, tongue etc. the fresh items, Sashimi and Sushi are excellent as well. Wonderful services from owner and her staff. Sushi chef’s are excellent prepared sushi at the bar. Love cozy atmosphere as well.“
