“The food here is phenomenal and the staff is extremely nice. I didn't know what to get so one of the staff recommended the chicken katsu curry rice and it was SO GOOD, he also mixed some Sriracha and soy sauce as a dip for the gyoza and it was fantastic.“
“A tiny lil family operated eatery inside the Shin Chon Market. The service is impeccable and super friendly. The self serve kiosk is an easy and convenient option for easy ordering & payment. The staff was always there to help with any questions on the order. The Gyoza is a must try. We regretted only getting 6 pieces :D.The ramen bowls were really large and tasted great. Would love to try the different creations from the menu in the future. The curry dishes look very appetizing.Pricing : ModerateWill I return? : For sure!!!“
“ATMOSPHERE: when you show up to this restaurant the outside of the restaurant is simple and not what you would expect. When you walk inside it as though you walked into a Japanese restaurant in the middle of a Japanese city. Very traditional and you have two seating options: 1. The bar where you can watch the cooks work the grill 2. The Floor. You walk up take your shoes off and they seat you at the table where you sit on the floor. It’s actually surprisingly comfy.FOOD: this place is a five star rating for food all around. If you’re not very adventurous and only want an American take on the food they do have options on the menu that will accommodate you. If you’re looking for more traditional Japanese options there are so many great options and all are amazing. They even have some more creative options that are still a nod to traditional Japanese but with a twist. I would definitely recommend asking the server for their recommendations if it’s your first time and just dive in.SERVICE: they are quick and attentive yet still manage to be kind and patient. They even remembered my wife and I after months later from our first visit.Over all I wouldn’t have anything negative to say about this place. They only do reservations for 3+ people so if you’re a couple get there early and wait in line. TOTALLY worth it.“
“I've been a regular at JC since grand opening and I consistently order the Galbi to go. Abundant meat for the price, the quality also shows in the taste. The right amount of char, flavor, and fat, it is some of the best galbi you can get in the area. Sode dishes are nothing crazy- a small portion of rice topped with fried egg and two gyozas. (Would prefer to have kimchi or other pickled vegetables to cut through richness of protein as opposed to more fat). Service is both kind and incredibly quick- never exceeds 10 minutes to prepare.“
“stop whatever you're doing and get your booty down to this restaurant, it is seriously amazing. they have tons of options for ramen and rice bowls along with several sides to choose from. you can customize your ramen and rice as well and the flavor is so amazing. i got the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was absolutely perfect. the service was quick as well! i cannot recommend this place enough.“
“My husband and I enjoyed a delicious ramen meal at Kizuki a couple of months back and I have wanted to write a review since! The ramen was absolutely delicious. My husband, who lived in Japan for a couple of years, has had a hard time finding ramen places that serve miso ramen but Kizuki serves it and does so in a beautifully thick broth. The wait staff is very friendly and the ambiance is fun! Not to mention in the perfect central location at Legacy. We really enjoyed our time chatting with the manager and waiters and already can't wait to go back for more delicious ramen!“
“First time at Marufuku and I think a return visit is in order. The ramen broth (chicken and pork) and noodles were fantastic. It's a little pricey for the portion size but it's worth the spend in the end. The pork buns were a pleasant surprise with a burst of fresh flavors. Very good. The soy dressing on the salad had a little kick to it and was another pleasant surprise. Will definitely go back and try the chicken broth next time!“
“This is a little hidden gem in Dallas with some of the most delicious all-you-can-eat sushi I ever had! The menu is extensive with so many varied and unique rolls to try. The servers are very nice, attentive and helpful. The chefs are fast and professional. I will definitely come back. If you like to eat a LOT like I do the $45 for AYCE is WELL worth it.ETA: been here twice in the past 2 months and it is one of my favorite AYCE places in Dallas!“
“Ppl might think I’m over exaggerating this review but I rarely review places. So, starting off everything here is AMAZING! The staff was welcoming and quick! And OMG the food was cooked to perfection and made fresh. Since it was my 1st time I had a couple of things:•beef stew (meat was so tender it fell apart and melted in my mouth, the broth and noodles was ♾️/10)•fried mandu (chose pork, it was crispy on the outside & rich/juicy on the inside)•boa buns (chose shrimp tempura, the shrimp was battered with literal perfection)•k-pop lemonade (so refreshing and you can tell it was made fresh)•dirty brown sugar with boba (so rich, not overly sweet either and right amount of coffee)I will definitely recommend this to everyone I know and I most definitely will be back!!“
“Very yummy ramen!! Very fresh and hot! Several different types of ramen, rice dishes, and udon noddle dishes. We had the fried shrimp and vegetarian Gyoza for apps. Both was good! Waiters were very friendly and patient with us since this was our first time there. They also checked on us several times which was nice. They gave us additional sauces and condiments for our ramen. Also additional items to add as sides or in your ramen. We will definitely visit this place again.“
“Ramen and Udon are filled with so much flavor! saw the nikugen akai udon recommended from a video, it's so worth it! Love creamy broths, and the spice is just enough where it doesn't take away from the flavors.Staff was super nice and on top of everything!“
“Hands down the best and the most affordable ramen place. We frequent the one in Addison, but they have outlets across dallas.Food standards here are AMAZING.Love their Yakisoba noodles and Veg/Vegan Miso Broth Ramen. They have a good deal of options for Veg/Vegan folks out here.Portion sizes are PRETTY BIG - brace for impact and go hungry!“
“Mom n pop with high end mix.Cozy size restaurant great for dining solo or with friends, with very nice decor. Their non-sushi food, like their bento box, are on the lighter side of taste but served with very good portions. Their sushi is superb! I had their lobster tower for the first time and it was instant addiction. I failed to take its picture but that will just give me an excuse to go back. I highly recommend!“
“We had a great experience overall during our first time at JINYA, which happened to be on Valentine's Day. Ramen bowls for dinner run about $18 a bowl typically, but they were running a special for 2 bowls of ramen, 2 non-alcoholic drinks, and potstickers for $40, so we took advantage of that.A couple highlights:- the atmosphere was really beautiful (well decorated for a small square footage) & great outdoors seating as an option as well- while the night was busy, servers were prompt and friendly- ramen bowls were delicious (we got the classic tonkatsu bowl and the black tonkatsu bowl)- we opted for the impossible meat potstickers just to try it out (instead of pork) and I would 100% get them againA couple of things they could improve:- their lemonade is basically country time lemonade so i would pass on getting that again- we never got a refill on our other drinks throughout the night so we were a bit disappointed about thatOverall, would definitely come back again and try out the other multitude of ramen bowl options they have on the menu.“
“I ordered two bowls of ramen yesterday for lunch via DoorDash. I actually had heard of this place but didn’t bother to really check it out since I feel like there are so many ramen places that are competitors that offer the same things. So basically I almost overlooked this spot but decided to go for it on a whim since I was curious. I was pleasantly surprised since I opted for the create your own ramen and just that was awesome - the ability to create your own ramen AND they offer *chicken miso*. I think I’m a fan now since I honestly don’t like pork or pork-based anything so I usually avoid ramen. But I think the chicken miso is something I will come back for! I only took off one star since I felt the broth was a bit too salty (kept having to drink a lot of water) so please consider a low sodium option.“
“Food is to die for as the expression goes. The flavor profile is phenomenal for every dish we tried. Service was beyond our expectations, super fast. Ambience was contemporary with hip hop music streaming in background. Will definitely do this again, family friendly and kids friendly“
“Went here with some out of town friends. A solid find and a solid option for ramen. My wife and I got the umami duck. The broth was flavorful and the noodles (we got the egg noodles) were chewy. We added extra noodles and were able to split the bowl. Spacious restaurant with friendly service. Their menu is quite extensive and the reviews are positive. I would be interested in coming back to try their tonkotsu ramen and their appetizers + other entrees“
“We've been to a lot of Ramen joints in the mid cities area. Overall, Ramen Hakata in Lewisville is the one we keep coming back to. Always fast and friendly, the ajitama (soft boiled eggs) are consistently jammy and well-marinated, the various broths are always rich and creamy (I'm partial to the tonkotsu, but I've had others that are excellent as well), the chashu is well-cooked, and the whole package hits just right. There might be other places that do individual components better, but for us, Hakata offers the overall best variety, quality, and price. My wife got the kimchi ramen this time and it instantly became her new favorite. I went with the tantanmen which was outstanding-- the ground pork in place of the chashu was a nice change of pace and the spicy broth was delicious. My ordinary go-to is the N2 (spicy ramen hakata), and I really love how they don't skimp on the spicy. They've also got a wide variety of appetizers and other ramen alternatives. I highly recommend this place!“
“Cozy place serving delicious ramen and lots of other options for non-ramen people. I got the shoyu and substituted tofu and it was delicious. Very flavorful with the thick wavy noodles. My son had the tonkatsu and he inhaled the bowl. Highly recommend!“
“TikTok made me do it ! The atmosphere is nice !! I got the Chicken Ramen... It's good but you do have to fix it up a little and the meat is dry but other than that it's a nice vibe and the Pineapple Smoothie is 10X the best drink !!! It's so freaking good!“
“Outstanding meals at this quaint location. We enjoyed a couple of poke books and ramen today. Awesome food at a reasonable price. When the quality of food is exceptional, the value increases, and this location is on point.Even when you have picky youthful dinner guests. there are a number of options. Can't wait to go back!Kid-friendliness: Their ramen options give you some latitude with those picky eaters who may not sure your love of spice.“
“Best ramen aroundMy go-to is the black garlic tonkotsu and an appetizer of korokke. I get extra broth to-go and honestly heat it and drink it like soup out of a mug when I'm working late.My only complaints are that nutrition info isn't on the menu, and that two of the booths (on the very ends) have a big piece of wood that juts out making it a spot to bang your elbow on if you're not careful.“
