“So I'm getting a drink and 10% off for posting this review, but that being said it's at least my 20th time eating here which means that I like it enough to keep coming back. Hidden gem for those without kids, and likely staple for those who do (located right next to kidtopia). The food is good, try it out“

“Friends from Texas recommended this ramen while we were visiting from New York. Hands down the best I've had. The seafood ramen was amazing; super fresh and the portions are perfect. The gyoza was fabulous as well! Looking forward to visiting again and trying out some of your other dishes!“

“A good place to have a quick bite or quick lunch inside a grocery store. You get a pretty decent portion for the price and its so worth it. Most of their items are under $15. I got the beef over rice (the one in the bowl) and a beef bulgogi bento box. For about $13 these came with the sides and the soup. Yum!!“

“This place is in a strip mall - plenty of seating. Walk in, immediately greeted by staff. Our drinks were kept full, asked right away if we knew what we wanted. We ended up ordering within 2-3 minutes of getting inside. I had the spicy pork ramen -- it was AMAZING. Super flavorful broth, generous portion, perfectly cooked noodles with tons of bean sprouts. YUM. I just went last night and might go again before heading back home!“

“Second time ordering from here, first time in the restaurant. Service was reasonable considering how busy it was. The kind lady up front gave me no issues with switching out my drink from a Diet Coke to a Coke Zero. The food was excellent - fresh ingredients and tons of flavor!“

“This is a wonderful Japanese place! It's izakaya style, so it's a similar dining style to a pub with interesting offerings like: ramen, small plates (appetizers), yakitori, sake, and cocktails with creative Japanese flare! There were two fantastic murals that were a lot of fun to take in, one on each of the two walls adjacent to the kitchen. One appeared to be a view looking down a slightly narrow street with businesses and apartments on either side. The other depicted a view bisecting a street giving more insight into people walking and living throughout a city. Very creative artwork! There is warm, natural, delightful wood features everywhere you turn inside and out of the restaurant. Lots of interesting things to get distracted looking at everywhere you turn haha!
We went for happy hour, which is 3-7pm & 10-11pm. I highly recommend happy hour for your first time to visit! Small plates are half off, and great deals on featured sake and cocktails! So, it's great for trying a bunch of things and sharing with friends! I highly recommend the corn fritters, shrimp dumplings, and gyoza!
The corn fritters tasted somewhat similar to hushpuppy, pieces of corn, corn meal, wrapped up in a crispy, slightly golden package with a little creamy sauce on top. The shrimp dumplings were probably my favorite item! Kinda wish there were a few more kinds of dumplings available. The sauce was very well done, and tasted like a light soy sauce, ginger, and light sweetness. The gyoza had a delicious traditional filling, rolled up in a wonton wrapper somewhat similar to what you might see for an egg roll, however, it had a nice light crispness like it was baked or air fried with a lovely dipping sauce similar to the shrimp dumping sauce. This was a delightful, creative spin on a traditional gyoza dumpling! We got the crab ragoons too, but I was not a fan of these. It tasted mostly like mayo and cream cheese to me, but was crispy, with a warm ooey-gooey center, and cooked well! I will definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and get more dumplings! Obviously, the chefs are very talented and creative! All the dishware were creative, ceramic pieces with interesting swirling patterns with different cool, earthy tones: blues, black, greys, browns, etc. mixed in fun designs!
Also, I tried the shoyu ramen, which was very tasty! Chicken broth, chashu (seared slice of pork belly), green onion, ajitama egg, bamboo shoots, and sesame seeds. Finished the meal with some hot sake, which was a very nice pallet cleanser!
Our server was awesome! Very patient and concise at explaining a few menu items I was unfamiliar with. Excellent service throughout the meal! We will definitely be back!“

“Moriya’s homemade curry is soooooo good. It absolutely hits the spot for me every time… rich, comforting, and packed with deep umami flavor. And their frothy tonkotsu broth is so unique too… creamy, flavorful, and just delicious. Beware that seating is limited and service can be slow at peak hours.“

“Absolutely amazing and authentic Japanese izakaya. I’ve been to Japan and here they have same dishes with no rolls, just real Japanese recipes. It feels like short travel to the small izakaya in the fisherman’s village near Osaka. Thank you and highly recommend ❤️🥹“

“Had the spicy pork Tonkotsu and tossed karage. Honestly one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. It was peppery and just the right amount of garlic and spice. They put the spice on the side for you to mix at your liking. I out the whole thing and it was awesome. Perfect noodles, soft pork, egg and broth were amazing. Kaarage was light and thin batter that was still crisp with the spicy sauce. They were a tad spicy but nothing crazy and the fried onions on top was a nice touch. Definitely would get these again.“

“This was our first time here and we'll will definitely be back! Bella the bartender is excellent! From the moment we came in the service was friendly fast and felt like we were old friends.
The food was delicious! Best ramen I've had in a long time! Rich, creamy and savory broth with a perfect bite to the noodles.
Everything is modern and clean. With small touches in the right places.“
