Our server Kevin was very impressive, he was serving multiple tables at a time but yet was very attentive to every single one of them! He truly is amazing at his job! I got the rare steak and tripe pho, I highly recommend it. The young man that works here is super outgoing and very personable.”

“I came in to get some of the special promotional szechuan sauce that was available through the app. When I got here the app indicated this particular location was closed even though it was very obviously open. After fiddling with the app I went to the counter and explained the situation to the lady who didn't seem to understand what I was talking about. She asked me if I would like to place my order at the counter. I said yes, but only if I could get the special sauce and she shook her head yes I could. I repeated it again to make absolutely sure she understood what I was asking. After a ridiculously long way I got my food with no sauce at all. Then the manager told me oh were out of it. I explained when I placed my order the only reason I was getting the food was for the sauce and if they didn't have it that I wasn't interested and I was told that they did.”

“This is by far the best Whataburger in the metroplex. I always have a good experience, the food is always right, and they usually remember the napkins and ketchup. Reese has the best attitude and makes picking up my order quick, entertaining, and fun. Give that man a raise!

“Food: Ordered the Beef Short Rib and Soon Tofu soups, both of which were amazing--the Beef Short Rib had a clean, light, rich flavor and was adequately salted, while the Soon Tofu had deeper flavors that were well balanced and kind of umami. We also had the Seafood Pancake, which had a nice crust, and you can actually taste the seafood (i.e., it wasn't eclipsed by too much pancake batter). Also, can we talk about the Banchan? It was a pleasant assortment, and it tasted fresh.

Service: Great! Nice waiters, quick service (although, we did come on a Thursday evening).

Ambiance: Casual.

The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! I'm so happy I found this location. The owner is very nice and constantly checks on his guests. I ordered the the 4-piece catfish combo and he gave me 6 pieces. Then, prior to finishing my meal, a team member came out with a basket of rolls, giving out free roles! I will always come to this store! Very grateful for their very kind service!”

Their AYCE is definitely one of the main reasons to visit, especially if you enjoy trying different meats, vegetables, seafood, and side dishes in one meal. The variety was impressive, and the ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared. ( $50~/ person )

The broth was flavorful, and the meat options were satisfying. I also liked the sauce bar because it allowed me to customize everything to my own taste. The all-you-can-eat option felt worth it, especially if you come hungry and want to enjoy a full hot pot experience.

Everything came together perfectly, from the chef’s cooking and the bartender’s creative drinks to the excellent service and beautiful atmosphere. It was a meal I will remember for a long time.

“I really enjoyed my meal and experience at Doma Seolleongtang. It felt like being in Korea when I walked in. To make it more authentic, we received a special kind of cold tea to open the palate before the meal and washed down the meal afterward. The music on was not Kpop but a mellow mix of Korean songs which helped me to savor my delicious bowl of beef rib soup. My soup came with glass noodles and enoki mushrooms. It was a lot of food for the price. We also received little dishes of kimchi, a bowl of white rice each, and a condiment each to dip the meat. The waitress was so thoughtful to bring my daughter a condiment without spicy stuff. Most everyone at my table loved their food and ate quietly. Only my daughter complained about her soup being under seasoned but that is why they have salt and pepper on the table, so she adjusted the two to her taste and ate the rest of the time in peace. I appreciate the warm, friendly, and attentive service. I appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurant and its bathrooms. Most of all, I really appreciate the warm, hearty, delicious meal. Best Korean food I’ve ever had in the USA. The kimchis were the best I’ve ever eaten. This is a special spot serving all beef broth soups and beef meat plates.”
