“First time dining at Kichi bar and we’ll definitely be back! Inside it looks very elegant and crisp. Our waitress was very attentive and offered plenty of suggestions based off what we wanted to order. Booking reservations does help as there’s not a lot of tables and got busy quickly nearing 6pm.

The sushi itself was reasonably priced for the quality. Favorite picks were salmon, sea bream, and hotate. The gyu-toro was our top dish as the meat was soft and full of flavor. Honorable mentions have to go to the cocktails, uni pasta, and mushroom risotto.“

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Support local!“

“Everything we ate was fresh and delicious! My order was promptly taken and we sat down with our drinks. The interior is super clean and the ambience is calm. The value for the money spent is unmatched, the portion was perfect for me as well. The chicken teriyaki was juicy and flavorful with a hint of char-grilled goodness. The macaroni was fresh and light and the cabbage salad was wonderfully crunchy and a nice contrast in texture. My only regret is not ordering more food for takeout. TLDR: Get you some teriyaki and be happy! 5 star experience.“

It's basically a near fast food Japanese restaurant. Order it, you'll have it in s couple of minutes.

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“
