“This place was so good! I’m sorry I didn’t take many pictures but everything is made from scratch. The owner was working and was a really friendly and you can tell he enjoys what he does. We got the pork katsu, spicy chicken teriyaki, pork katsu sando, curry rice. Everything was delish! He also makes homemade siracha and it’s so good. Words can’t express how great the food is. Highly recommend!“
“Sunday evening and everything was absolutely perfect. My husband and I live in the area and decided to come in for our anniversary. Quickly greeted and seated at the bar and brought water/menus. Started with a crudo sampler which was a great way for a couple to try a few of their raw offerings. My favorite was the tuna topped with the crab. I ordered a 3-roll regular combo and my husband opted for the 5-roll premium option. Every single thing was delicious and fresh. Even the options with sauces were very nicely balanced and not overdone. My favorite was the salmon option with the mango. My husband loved the yellowtail topped with a jalapeño. Chef gifted us a couple of pieces of salmon belly sushi which was my favorite bite of the night! It was lightly smoked and came with a dab of a wonderful sauce. Tiramisu mascarpone for dessert had a cheesecake texture which I really enjoyed. Will be back and so happy to have them in our neighborhood.“
“This sushi place exceeded my expectations with its fresh and delicious sushi offerings. The friendly staff made the dining experience enjoyable, and their tonkatsu was very good, adding variety to the menu. I highly recommend this spot for anyone craving excellent sushi in a welcoming atmosphere.“
“The sushi tasted great and they do have Lunch/Dinner specials. I got the to-go special...2 rolls for $12.95 (California and Philadelphia rolls). The only issue that I have is the rolls are small compared to other sushi restaurants. So doesn't feel like I got what I paid for. So if I come back...I probably wouldn't order the sushi rolls again. The service was great and the atmosphere is nice as well.“
“Best ramen aroundMy go-to is the black garlic tonkotsu and an appetizer of korokke. I get extra broth to-go and honestly heat it and drink it like soup out of a mug when I'm working late.My only complaints are that nutrition info isn't on the menu, and that two of the booths (on the very ends) have a big piece of wood that juts out making it a spot to bang your elbow on if you're not careful.“
“Salmon Wednesdays have changed. Sometimes the nigiri is good, but sometimes it’s just ok. They already prepare most of the salmon nigiri, so it doesn’t taste as fresh it seems. Overall though, the value is great for what it is. I’d recommend also going on another day besides Wednesdays. Their other nigiri and handrolls definitely satisfy my sushi cravings.“
“This is my favorite sushi restaurant in DFW. I come here every other week or so. The all you can eat dinner experience is really great. There is so many options to choose from. I love how everything is made fresh to order rather than buffet style all you can eat. Even though the price may be high to some people I always feel like I get my money's worth after I leave. I have come during lunch before and although the price is cheaper alot of the menu isn't available like it is during dinner. I would not come here personally during lunch again. It's not a good value to me.“
“Our chef Gino Rosario was amazing. He made us all laugh including my 7yo son. Loved the customer service from everyone. I will say it is pricey. 2 adults one child on a Sunday came out to $162. 18% tip is automatically added to your bill fyi, wish i would have known that or atleast disclose it in menu. Also if you opt for fried rice its a $3.5 additional charge. Over all we enjoyed out experience thats to our chef“
“4/5 or 8/10. Okay so… they don’t have anything on the menu that says Bento …. Which is weird considering their name. They have several dishes and their sushi is fair priced & delicious, but again there are no Bentos on the menu listed, so we were really thrown off by that. My wife and I had passed it several times and kept thinking we love Japanese bentos and would love to have one, so we dropped in on a Sunday. The waitress and chef were very kind and the food was delicious. We were just let down by the fact that there were no Bentos at all listed on the menu. So if you are excited for a bento, don’t come looking here lol. For good sushi, this is a great place which is what we ate.“
“A nice location that had plenty of space to eat. The location was not crowded and easy to get in and order. Ordering was a little odd, since there wasn't a full description of the items we were ordering, so we kinda had to hope we would get everything good. Some items didn't match their conventional name, like the Karaage was actually just a chicken leg and wing still connected and maybe fried once. Whereas you'd normally see such a named item being a twice fried chicken chunk.Other than that, the food all came out out of order and appetizers came out mixed in with other courses. The sukiyaki dish didn't really have any explanation of what to do, and for people like ourselves who didn't get raised eating these dishes, we had to research on the spot leading to a little difficulty. But each item served was delicious and we did enjoy the whole experience.I would recommend giving this location a try, the staff that we interacted with were friendly and attentive even though it was relatively close to closing time.“
“One of my favorite spots to stop by when I go to Hmart in Carrollton is JS Sushi. Hmart's food court has many different options to choose from. We got JS Sushi's poke bowl. Sometimes we share a poke bowl and get something else from another restaurant in the food court but today was a get your own poke bowl day. Definitely recommend! Not sure if JS Sushi is at other Hmart locations but it is at the Carrollton location.“
“Wow!!!! Flavor explosion in your mouth at this restaurant. I got the #9 - beef and chicken teriyaki. Amazing! My wife got the #4 - beef teriyaki. She took one bite and said "this place is a keeper." The rice and slaw are good, too. Fast. Friendly. Economical (we paid $28 total for our meals and two sodas). Clean restaurant.“
“A sensational spot filled with excellent food. With a wide variety of dishes that will suit every pallet you cannot go wrong here. Layers of flavors that complement each other are sure to please. Great service and a relaxing atmosphere make this a top spot for family dining.“
“Quant and absolutely delicious Sushi restaurant! We went for lunch and there were only 2 people working but they did an amazing job! Fast, knowledgeable and friendly customer service.I ordered the teriyaki shrimp bento box and the server asked for my preferences in all options to ensure that my order was correct. It comes with 2 dumplings, salad with ginger dressing, the teriyaki shrimp was on top of grilled veggies (, , ), 4 piece roll of Cali or spicy crab and rice (steamed or fried). The rice was a nice portion and was served in a bowl on the side. The Cali roll was big and made with all fresh ingredients. My daughter ordered the shrimp tempura roll; it comes with 8 pieces and is a very large roll with fresh and real ingredients. The ambiance is low lighting, tables and chairs as well as low tables with cushions for floor seating for dining in. Whether you dine in or get it to go, you MUST try this restaurant; you will absolutely love it!“
