“As someone who has visited many Japanese restaurants over the years, I can honestly say Kichi Bar is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Every dish showed the chef’s skill, attention to detail, and clear passion for Japanese cuisine. From the very fresh sashimi and perfectly made sushi to the rich uni pasta and beautifully cooked Wagyu steak, everything was excellent. Each item had its own distinct flavor, and it was obvious that a lot of care went into every detail. This wasn’t just a good meal. It was a memorable dining experience. One of the highlights of the evening was the non-alcoholic cocktails made by the bartender. They were refreshing, beautifully presented, and paired really well with the food. Each drink complemented the dishes and made the meal even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself has a beautiful atmosphere. It feels elegant but not overly formal, and the private dining room made the experience feel even more special. It was the perfect setting for a relaxed yet upscale dinner. The service was just as impressive as the food. Everyone on the staff was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. What stood out most was how knowledgeable they were. “Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Support local!“

“I had the BEST time here. The food in the restaurant was so good and then the karaoke rooms are themed and unthemed for all kinds of fun. I want to come back for my birthday. The staff and atmosphere is absolutely worth the drive.“

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“
