“My favorite korean restaurant in Dallas
I moved from Atlanta and couldn’t find any places that could satisfy my taste buds, but “The JinKook” did! My favorite is their kimchi jjim, it was better than any other kimchi dishes I’ve tasted.“

“We had a truly wonderful time. Kevin was an absolute pleasure to be with and contributed greatly to the enjoyable atmosphere. He ensured that everyone was comfortable and well taken care of, and it was evident that all present had a fantastic time. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.“

“I was looking for a place to eat instant tteokbokki, and it was so delicious.
You can adjust the spiciness, there are different flavors, there are various types of rice cakes/noodles, and it's nice because it's clean.
I had a great time eating rice cakes and fried rice. I'll come again.“

“We came on a Friday and they had the triangle kimbap available - which was excellent. Got the spicy bulgogi and it was smoky, sweet, spicy, and savory with a great meat-to-rice ratio. Also got the hotteok. We had the original last time we came and it was really really good (we were pleasantly surprised as this was new for us - a honey pancake type snack with nuts) and this time we had the Nutella version which was just as good. Also had the yuzuade which was very very good, it's unique and a delicate balance of sweet, tangy, and refreshing. We also tried their k-dogs this time and they were very large for the price. Everything overall was over my expectations. We remembered this place despite it being months since last coming and will definitely be coming back in the future“

“We visited this place last Sunday. It’s very family-friendly and great for dining with kids. I had the spicy seolleongtang, and the broth was very rich and flavorful. We also ordered dumplings and pork cutlet, and the kids absolutely loved them.
Our server didn’t seem to be Korean, but she spoke Korean very well and kindly explained the dishes to us. The service was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, it was a great experience and a nice place to visit with family.“

“If you’ve never tried gamjatang (Korean pork bone soup), this is the place to start.
The broth is unbelievably rich, deep, and packed with flavor slow simmered for hours until it turns into pure comfort in a bowl. The pork literally falls off the bone, and the portion is huge!
If you’re going with three people, order the large size!
it’s the perfect amount to share. This spot in Carrollton truly does it right. And don’t forget to order the fried rice at the end! it’s the best way to finish the meal!“

“I recently visited Zzizim Korean Restaurant in Carrollton, TX with my daughter, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. We ordered the seafood pancake with green onions, beef bulgogi, kimchi soup, and pork belly, and every single dish was amazing.
The seafood pancake was perfectly crispy on the outside and loaded with fresh seafood and savory green onions. The beef bulgogi was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right sweet, smoky, and incredibly satisfying. The kimchi soup had a rich, comforting depth with just the right amount of spice, and the pork belly was absolute perfection: juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.
Beyond the food, sharing this meal with my daughter made it even more special. Zzizim delivered both quality and comfort, and you can really taste the care put into each dish. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Korean food in the Carrollton area, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Ordered via Uber Eats and was thoroughly impressed. Having lived in Seoul before, I have high standards for Kimbap, and this is as authentic as it gets. The flavors are spot on and exactly what a proper Kimbap should taste like. I’ll definitely be ordering again and can’t wait to visit the shop in person!“

“Tried this place for the first time and was pretty impressed by the offerings they had.
I am not a huge cold noodle fan but they had other dishes that suited my taste.
1. The spicy noodles were not too spicy and they gave you a lot of beef
2. The seafood pancake was just crispy but their wasn’t alot of seafood
The nice thing was we did not need to tip and everyone has to clean up after themselves“

“If you’re looking for authentic Korean food in Carrollton, please give Kooksoo a try. This place honestly deserves so much more attention. My boyfriend and I got the King Rib Jjamppong. The food was absolutely delicious, comforting, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was how kind and genuine the owner was. He personally came out to check on every table, asking if everything tasted good and whether the spice level was okay. You can really tell he cares about his customers and puts his heart into the restaurant.
In a time where so many places feel rushed or impersonal, this felt incredibly warm and welcoming. Great food, generous portions, and genuinely kind service. Small family-owned restaurants like this deserve all the support. We’ll definitely be coming back.“

“The side dishes are so delicious that I go here every time I go to Dallas. I really like the combination of pig’s feet and makkimchi. It’s better than the jokbal restaurant. We live in the countryside, so we buy a lot at once, and they always provide great service and are very kind. The seasoned crab sauce is delicious, so I buy it often.“

“This is easily one of the most authentic Korean spots in the Carrollton area. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a genuine neighborhood deli in Korea, this is it.
The highlight of the meal was definitely the **intestine soup**. It is hands down the best I’ve had—the broth is incredibly deep and flavorful, and the ingredients are prepared perfectly. It’s the kind of hearty, comforting dish that’s hard to find executed this well.
Beyond the main dishes, their **banchan (side dishes)** selection is impressive. Not only is everything fresh and delicious, but the portions are **huge**. They really don't skimp on the variety or the amount, which makes the whole meal feel like a feast.
The atmosphere is cozy and no-frills, which I personally love because it shows the focus is entirely on the quality of the food. If you want real-deal Korean comfort food with generous portions, I can’t recommend Ajumma Sundae Deli enough!“

“This is the perfect spot for casually hanging out with friends. Their spicy tteokbokki is beyond amazing. You can truly taste that it’s homemade. The rice cakes have the perfect texture, making it impossible to resist going back for another bite.
They play all the 2000s K-pop hits, which makes the atmosphere even more nostalgic“

“I had Bimbibop for the first time ever and it was amazing. They sides were also amazing. The service was excellent as well and they paid attention to detail. The presentation of the food was also excellent.
I recently had Bimbibop at a different Korean restaurant in Frisco and it was terrible. From now on I will go to Maht Gaek for Bimbibop.“

“I had a river rat at home, so I ate it and it was so delicious! The assorted boiled pork, seolleongtang, and seasoned crab were crazy!!It doesn't smell at all, it's delicious, and I'll be visiting often!!All kimchi is delicious, but green onion kimchi is especially delicious? The marinated crab is tastier than the one you buy at a side dish restaurant, and there is a lot more of it!!“

“Recently my mom fell ill and through her recovery we often got her the Fish and Chicken Juk from Charm Juk. We also got the Beef Bulgogi Bento Box for the rest of us while nursed her back to health. The hostess and staff were so kind and gracious, thank you for all your support! Charm Juk is my mom's favorite restaurant around Dallas, and we can clearly see why! 😊“

“Came here on a Thursday night with a friend and ordered gamjatang and sundae soup. Not gonna lie this is hands down the cleanest, best broth I’ve had at a Korean restaurant. Like… comfort food that knows what it’s doing. The place is super cozy, the kind of spot where you accidentally stay longer than planned. Also, the young female staff member was unbelievably friendly, to the point where she made the whole meal even better.
To the owner: you hired a gem.
Please don’t let her escape 😄
I’ll 100% be back.“

“Love this place! Been coming here for bout 4 - 5 years now. It definitely is a dope vibe when you’re grubbing with the peeps and the servers are awesome. There are couple new faces for sure but they’re great and Jeffery and Moon are always attentive to making sure it’s always great when me and the squad come in, so much so they’ll have us seated and already bring out what we usually order. This is my kbbq place fasho I can go to the other fancy schmancy ones but they wont show love like the crew does here. Bring ya appetite and they’ll get ya right is all I can say.“

“Chi Chi’s was the most fun I’ve had in a long time! You can play free games on the tablets but you can also 1V1 another group for a bottle of soju of your choice. We went 7-0 and had to start giving bottles away. Also the owner was super sweet and gave me a free tambourine. Food was yummy and the whole atmosphere was a vibe.“

“We tried hand made noodle soup and Korean dumplings for about 6 times at this place. Over all foods were reasonably good. Sometime this place is very busy and tables are not available. “We loved the food here. Very family friendly. We loved the boneless fried chicken with spicy Korean sauce. The tteoboki was not as spicy as we would have hope, but it has good flavor. The snow beer was a cool idea but I wouldn't order it again. The white grape snow cocktail and the snow soda were good though. Service was friendly and fast.“

“It is one of kind traditional Korean restaurant located in Carrollton, Texas. Their services were outstanding! Not just services, foods were excellent too. It might be for some Americans, but most Korean Americans are praising this traditional Korean BBQ style meats.🍖 Many side dishes are served as you ordered main dishes.“

“The chicken kalguksu was sooo good. I really liked that they give you way more chicken compared to other places I’ve been to.
The gentleman who took my partner and my order (I think he might be the owner) was very sweet, and the woman who served us was kind as well. She even took the time to show my partner how to properly flavor his soup, which we really appreciated.
I’ve seen some reviews saying the service is rude, but that wasn’t our experience at all.
It’s definitely a family-oriented, more self-serve style restaurant, so the service isn’t super hands-on like a typical sit-down spot and I think that’s where some of those reviews might come from. But for what it is, the service felt exactly as expected.
Overall, the food was really good and I would definitely come back.“

“we can only assume that the food served up at Musiro Korean Restaurant off Old Denton Rd next to H Mart is authentic. The restaurant interior is cozy and quaint with a mixture of private booths and open tables. The menu is simple and has been consistently good in the 10yrs we have been dining there. prices are reasonable, and the staff friendly. we highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area for lunch or dinner.“

“A good place to have a quick bite or quick lunch inside a grocery store. You get a pretty decent portion for the price and its so worth it. Most of their items are under $15. I got the beef over rice (the one in the bowl) and a beef bulgogi bento box. For about $13 these came with the sides and the soup. Yum!!“

“Got taken here by my sister and didn’t expect much, but it turned out to be a really pleasant surprise. The noodles were genuinely delicious. We ordered jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), spicy seafood noodles (pretty spicy, so only if you can handle heat), Korean fried pork, and beef noodles (not spicy and very easy to enjoy). Portions are quite generous in my opinion, if you go with a group, it’s perfect for trying a variety of dishes. Will come back!“
