“A cute little spot, manned by two very sweet Korean ladies.
You order and pay at the counter and find a seat. To the left of the counter is a self-service area where you help yourself to water, silverware, and plates.
I think this is the type of place where non-Koreans will love and say that the Korean food is amazing and the best they ever had.
I won't say it's amazing, because to be honest, it's not even close to amazing. Even though the 4.7 rating might say otherwise, but once again, it's a 4.7 given by a majority non-korean pool of customers.
However, it is solid.
Solid enough that if in the area, I would come back to dine.
More than the entrees themselves, I really enjoyed the side dishes that are very reminiscent of home-cooking.
The ladies bring the food out to you and also replace the side dishes as requested.
More than the food itself, I found the two hard working ladies sweet and adorable.
My overall rating combining food quality, taste, service, ambiance, and price, I give it a solid 4.4“

“Doshi brings a warm, welcoming Korean and Japanese dining experience to Washington Drive. Crisp homemade gyoza, savory beef bulgogi rice bowls, and comforting stone-bowl bibimbap share the spotlight with fresh sushi rolls and katsu curry. An open kitchen design, clean space, and attentive service make it a standout local favorite.“

“Love their food. Just the right amount of spice but great flavors...not just heat. Only item to improve on...tables and counters could be cleaned a bit better. Seemed sticky even after washing. Maybe change water out? But food and service was great“

“If you’re craving authentic Korean food in Plano, this spot delivers. Their signature grilled pork ribs are the star of the menu—tender, flavorful, and perfectly charred. The seafood pancake is packed with seafood and comes out crispy on the outside, while the banchan (Korean side dishes) are fresh and plentiful.
The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, making it great for both lunch and dinner.
Service can slow down during busy hours (we were also a party of 9) but the food is worth the wait. Overall, a solid choice for authentic Korean comfort food in North Texas.“

“Solid Korean restaurant serving mostly Chinese Korean dishes. Taste was fine, nothing spectacular. The restaurant is located inside Legacy Food Court. The food court has seen better days with the interior dated and floor and tables not the cleanest with an added bonus of strong cleaning chemical smell in the air. One bonus of this restaurant is they still serve you on regular plates when dining in.“

“This review is LONG overdue.
This is consistently some of the best Korean food in the DFW Metroplex, and I’ve been to just about all of them. My wife and I find ourselves coming here at least once a week. She’s not Korean, but whenever we’re in the mood for Korean food, this is always the place she suggests.
The food is authentic, consistently excellent, and clearly made with care. The portions are generous, the quality is outstanding, and the prices are unbelievable for what you get. The service is always warm, attentive, and welcoming. You can tell there’s genuine pride in both the food and the overall experience.“

“One of the best perks of delivering food as a side hustle—aside from earning extra cash for hobbies your spouse would never approve for the family budget—is discovering incredible restaurants wherever you go, and that's how I discovered bb.q Chicken! Situated in the same strip center as 99 Ranch Market in Plano, bb.q Chicken specializes in crispy Korean style fried chicken, with daikon cubes and all. We decided to dine here for dinner, ordered the 18 piece chicken wings and divided the flavors into original spicy and Galbi wings. Both were delicious. The original spicy has a special kind of crisp that can only be experienced by dining here. The spice level is also not over the top that it buries the flavor and becomes the star of the show; it's just spicy enough to let you know that you got hit with the spice stick. I'm not a sauced wing kinda guy, but the Galbi wings were sticky, flavorful, tender and juicy. I'm surprise that the Galbi wings were still crunchy despite being dowsed with all that delicious sauce! Both style of wings were fried to perfection but remained very juicy whenever you bite into it! Careful, the wings arrive straight from the frier, don't want to burn your mouth-roof! Our son enjoyed his basked of fried sweet potato fries, it's his go-to side and I'm glad bb.q Chicken serves it. This location serves alcohol, including bottled/canned beer, wine and soju. Move over Wing Stop, this is our new wings spot!“
