“For our 25th Anniversary we found this bakery on Google! We walked in to check out the restaurant, the dining room was full ( which is a good thing). Immediately we were greeted by a young lady name Hafsa. She showed us around, we tasted a cake and had a couple of sandwiches. She educated us on the food having no preservatives, and was good healthy food to eat. Hafsa was very very professional and attentive and took her time with us. The restaurant was a WINNER, and the food was FABULOUS! 😋. She catered our affair and it was a hit amongst our friends and family. Thank you Hafsa for all your hard work! And the cakes were AMAZING! Their foods are delicious - as a person who eats Keto diet I appreciate their “in a bowl” option and how easy it is - I don’t need to overexplain and many immediately knew what I was talking about. “I highly recommend Harvest for their food. We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and this was our first time in the newer space since it is so hard to get a reservation. We came for my husband’s birthday and it was perfection from the minute we walked in. The host said happy birthday to him and then had us go upstairs to the live music area on the 3rd floor. We had to wait a few minutes but the manager took care of our cocktail order because of it. The music from the vinyl stripes was excellent. The waitress darnesha was kind attentive and super happy. What amazing customer service! He was also able to pick a dessert off the menu. Such an enjoyable evening. My husband’s day was made with the live music and great food. Thank you”

A cozy atmosphere which is complimented with wonderful service and amazing food. The pre-dinner cocktails are very tasty and reasonably priced. The menu contains a variety of appetizers and entrees, so there is something available to meet everyone's tastes. Desert rounds out the evening and there are several delectable options to choose from!

“We were greeted warmly. Sat down and our server Janet appeared before us quickly.

We asked her about the $5 margarita. She said it was good… but suggested the El Jefe and my fiancée got the Diablo — both were awesome suggestions. That El Jefe was so smooth!

Before we could even ask for them, Janet already had waters on the table. We ALWAYS forget to order waters, (and fiancé gets a little buzzed on margaritas too fast) so the fact she anticipated it without us asking immediately - That’s hospitality.

I get beef fajitas anywhere I go, but my fiancée likes trying different things anywhere we go. And always looks perplexed while scouring menus… Janet suggested her personal favorite — the fish tacos with the fish fried instead of blackened. Luckily the fiancé couldn’t finish the third taco so I got one!! The fried fish, the chipotle, the pico… perfect combo!

Our little guy was pretty rambunctious that night, and Janet even took him over to grab some dough to play with for a minute so me and my fiancée could have 45 seconds of silence. That level of hospitality cannot be taught. Was comforting to see him reach for her hand when she extended it. He’s usually a shy little guy.

“I've tried Valerie's Taco shop two times. The potatoes taco was very salty that I couldn't eat it. Today we ordered a kids bean burrito (too salty), a steak quesadilla (too salty) and a carne asada taco. The carne asada taco was eatable. Horchata and flan are the only two items I do recommend.”

The coffee is from Italy with bold tones but no bitterness. It is difficult to find good coffee. The pancakes were light and sweet. The bacon is very meaty. I love Egg cited!”

“I visited Golden Chick on 8/23/26. I rarely get the roasted chicken as meal, but I did on this day. It was VERY TASTY! So I decided to call them. I asked them if they cook the roasted chicken in house or if is frozen and heated up. The gentleman said “oh no sir! We marinade or chicken with a special rub, and then we cook it fresh everyday”. I said well, you guys are doing a great job and I just thought you should know that. To his surprise , he was relived because he thought I was going to give him a bad review. 😁

So , if you are in McKinney the next time you visit Golden Chick . Try the roasted chicken. You’ll love it.”

I have tried GF pizzas from other places and they are always very small and not big enough to share.

All the toppings are great here too. Pepperoni done just right, where it curls up just a little. We also had a Margherita pizza that had a perfect blend of ingredients with a tasty bit of garlic.
