We came for my husband’s birthday and it was perfection from the minute we walked in. The host said happy birthday to him and then had us go upstairs to the live music area on the 3rd floor. We had to wait a few minutes but the manager took care of our cocktail order because of it. The music from the vinyl stripes was excellent. The waitress darnesha was kind attentive and super happy. What amazing customer service! He was also able to pick a dessert off the menu. Such an enjoyable evening. My husband’s day was made with the live music and great food. Thank you”

“Outstanding from start to finish. Service was warm and accommodating. Food was outstanding. We had the sampler, stir fried goat, meat pie, and suya were fantastic. Only thing on the sampler we weren’t crazy about was the fish roll. They offered us puff puff. Light, delicious and fresh from the fryer. Mains were majestic stew and Jollof rice with beef tips. All were rich, flavorful, and wonderfully spicy. It was an outstanding meal and we will absolutely be back.”

“For our 25th Anniversary we found this bakery on Google! We walked in to check out the restaurant, the dining room was full ( which is a good thing). Immediately we were greeted by a young lady name Hafsa. She showed us around, we tasted a cake and had a couple of sandwiches. She educated us on the food having no preservatives, and was good healthy food to eat. Hafsa was very very professional and attentive and took her time with us. The restaurant was a WINNER, and the food was FABULOUS! 😋. She catered our affair and it was a hit amongst our friends and family. Thank you Hafsa for all your hard work! And the cakes were AMAZING! The drive-thru is efficient, the employees are friendly, and I never have to worry about checking my bag before I leave, the order is always exactly as I requested. “Had a vacation with my friends and we flew into dallas on the way home and after a day of rough flights and delays- we wanted one thing and that was some pizza and wings. We googled pizza places and looked for some options and fell upon Zio Al’s. We called to place an order, paid over the phone and headed to the store. When we got to the store they couldn’t find the order- we quickly found out that someone called the wrong location to place their order. Feeling defeated, the manager was kind and helpful and still made our order at the location we were at. In a short 15 minutes we were given probably the best pizza i have ever eaten!! We ordered the supreme pizza, the signature, and two orders of wings and Oh My Gosh the absolute best!!! Will be going there again next time we are in dallas. Please Please support this kind and delicious establishment!!”

“This Pizza is so good, we came back quickly after trying it.
The First time, we did 2 small pizzas for me and my wife. They looked like personal pizzas but plenty of food for leftovers and sharing for 2 people. The next time, we ordered a large and the mini. The mini is definitely for 1 person. The large is big and they cut the slices for 2-3 people easily, however it is pricy for a single large pepperoni around $23. However we love it and will return.”

“Ordered the Dapper Apple and the Bonnie Pie'd. The apple pie is a little heavy on the cinnamon. I'm not the biggest cinnamon fan, but the pie was very good. It's probably one of the best pies I've had. I personally didn't try the Bonnie Pie'd, but my wife liked it very much. This is a very nice little shop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The store was clean and still had some of that old building charm. So glad they didn't gut the building and modernized it. Definitely recommend and will be back.”

“Took our family of 10 here and were seated immediately, which was a great start. We had a few people in our group who needed gluten-free options, and the staff was very helpful in confirming which dishes could be modified. It would be even better if those options were clearly labeled on the menu. The food came out quickly and everything was excellent. Standouts included the egg drop soup with crispy wontons, chicken dumplings, Mongolian beef, Kung Pao chicken, green beans, garlic edamame, and the three-flavored chicken. Every dish was flavorful and well prepared. Also a big plus that the restaurant is halal.

Tiffany/Timothy has the music going and knows how to get the energy up and interacts with the whole bar so it's like one big family gathering! This place (I believe) is run by a couple who live here, so it's super local! They are super sweet and nice, but during busy times, patience will be needed as it seems leanly run. It definitely reminded me of plenty of restaurants in Japan when we went in 2025, where they're usually run by a couple with family helping.
The menu is pretty extensive, ranging from the expected appetizers and ramen to interesting additions like onigiri and hand rolls.
Everything tasted great, and service was nice, albeit a bit on the slower end.
The authentic flavors and vibes are always appreciated, and I highly recommend coming here. Just be aware seating is tight, and if it's full, expect a wait.”

But not this spot.
