We came for my husband’s birthday and it was perfection from the minute we walked in. The host said happy birthday to him and then had us go upstairs to the live music area on the 3rd floor. We had to wait a few minutes but the manager took care of our cocktail order because of it. The music from the vinyl stripes was excellent. The waitress darnesha was kind attentive and super happy. What amazing customer service! He was also able to pick a dessert off the menu. Such an enjoyable evening. My husband’s day was made with the live music and great food. Thank you”

“For our 25th Anniversary we found this bakery on Google! We walked in to check out the restaurant, the dining room was full ( which is a good thing). Immediately we were greeted by a young lady name Hafsa. She showed us around, we tasted a cake and had a couple of sandwiches. She educated us on the food having no preservatives, and was good healthy food to eat. Hafsa was very very professional and attentive and took her time with us. The restaurant was a WINNER, and the food was FABULOUS! 😋. She catered our affair and it was a hit amongst our friends and family. Thank you Hafsa for all your hard work! And the cakes were AMAZING! “We came for a wedding most recently. For those of you who do not already know this is a hotel, event venue and restaurant. The food and drinks are exceptional.
The bar I have been to more than a handful of times over the past decade. It is a rather small bar but it gets very busy towards the evening. One waitress did a fabulous job taking care of our group Friday (we were there for a wedding). A different waitress seemed tired and it was a struggle to order with her. The bartenders kept reminding her to take our order…
The wedding reception was held in the event space. It was very pretty. Our appetizers, drinks and dinner were all exceptionally tasty. The stuffed mushrooms were good and the bruschetta. My favorite item was the Brussels sprouts. They were perfect in. During the event all our servers were professional and kind. Attentive too. 10/10 for an event space.
I’ve also stayed at the hotel in two different rooms on different occasions. I had some difficulty getting the hot water to consistently stay warm while showering. This was five years ago when I stayed so hopefully it’s been fixed since then. The rooms are nice. However when I stayed in a larger room there were photos of people that felt creepy. Thankfully the smaller room I stayed in did not have paintings of people. It is a lovely place to stay if you want to be right off the square and easy good food a few steps away.”

“A friend recommended Twisted Tails for crawfish and they did not disappoint! My mother and I had it for the first time today and we were satisfied. The butter dipping sauce was too good and I loved the sausage. The crawfish themselves were large, they were reasonably priced and our order was ready pretty fast. Living in Louisiana for some years, it’s hard to experience good to great crawfish in Texas but Twisted tails has been the closest taste to Louisiana without having to drive across the metroplex. They will definitely be seeing us again!”

“I visited Golden Chick on 8/23/26. I rarely get the roasted chicken as meal, but I did on this day. It was VERY TASTY! So I decided to call them. I asked them if they cook the roasted chicken in house or if is frozen and heated up. The gentleman said “oh no sir! We marinade or chicken with a special rub, and then we cook it fresh everyday”. I said well, you guys are doing a great job and I just thought you should know that. To his surprise , he was relived because he thought I was going to give him a bad review. 😁

The freshly made Samosas were delicious, the Vada Pav was exceptional, the Garlic Naan was perfectly done, and the Paneer Riwaayat (similar to paneer bhurji) was flavorful and mouth-watering. The highlight, however, was the Jalebi with Rabdi - absolutely out of this world.”

“We visited London Winery in McKinney for bingo night, and it was such a fun experience. The DJ was amazing and really made the event entertaining.
The winery has a beautiful atmosphere, and the sangria was good, although a little sweet. Unfortunately, the fig and hot honey flatbread was overwhelmingly sweet and wasn’t our favorite.
The only downside was the service. There isn’t table service, so you have to place your order at the counter, which wasn’t very convenient. Our table was also dirty when we arrived and took forever for them to clean after asked.”

We asked her about the $5 margarita. She said it was good… but suggested the El Jefe and my fiancée got the Diablo — both were awesome suggestions. That El Jefe was so smooth!
Before we could even ask for them, Janet already had waters on the table. We ALWAYS forget to order waters, (and fiancé gets a little buzzed on margaritas too fast) so the fact she anticipated it without us asking immediately - That’s hospitality.
I get beef fajitas anywhere I go, but my fiancée likes trying different things anywhere we go. And always looks perplexed while scouring menus… Janet suggested her personal favorite — the fish tacos with the fish fried instead of blackened. Luckily the fiancé couldn’t finish the third taco so I got one!! The fried fish, the chipotle, the pico… perfect combo!
Our little guy was pretty rambunctious that night, and Janet even took him over to grab some dough to play with for a minute so me and my fiancée could have 45 seconds of silence. That level of hospitality cannot be taught. Was comforting to see him reach for her hand when she extended it. He’s usually a shy little guy.
