“I recommend, really good. I ordered 8 glazed gluten free donuts today. Mimi (the owner) helped me. I told her I was allergic to gluten, and she said they have a dedicated fryer for all their gluten free donuts. And the glazed icing was gluten free and no contamination. She also said to tell her if you have a gluten allergy and she will be able to get you more (different) icings like cherry and maple, etc…. The donuts were really good, but expensive. I ordered 8 total donuts and it was $34.55. But whatever, inflation is here. I will go back!! The GF donuts were thinner and not as puffy as gluten donuts (that I remember from 20 years ago before I went gluten free) but it was a treat. I could have eaten all 8 but I restrained myself. “I felt like a drug deal was going down as I said,"Get me two from the back." What was I referring to? Their almond croissants that had been completely sold out when I visited a day prior. I know it makes no sense that I was on my way to the gym, but let's just say this is cheat day worthy. The ambiance of this establishment would benefit from wide plank wood paneling flooring to give it that real Parisian vibe. Right now, it's just a concrete pick-up and go space. Seating is on the right side but sparse. The clerk is sweet and had sympathy when offering options or checking in the back for items I wanted to order. I love how they have a great balance of savory and sweet pastries. The portions are large. Almond croissant had a flaky crust and soft dense inside. There was some aftertaste from the scent in the bakery itself. It's not bad but I'm not sure if it's an extract they add to the pastry itself. This place works with limited quantities so when something is sold out....it's gone. I just think if they see a need for slightly more inventory they should bake more. I was here at 8:00am and the almond croissants weren't on the floor?! Clearly, patrons are dashing to get this daily. Thank you sweet employee who thought to fetch more from the back!“
“Went on a morning walk and decided to stop by, ate my food inside since it was drizzling outside. Got some more kolaches to go and when I went to leave, the super nice lady working offered her umbrella and when I told her I walked over, she even offered to let me bring it back later.It's the small kind gestures that matter! The service is absolutely top notch and the donuts have good variety and great taste. This is not the best donut you’ve ever had BUT it is a very good donut in a local spot that has some character. “Super cute decor inside. The donuts are fantastic. Everytime I visit my sister in McKinney I have to stop by and pick up a dozen donuts for us. The chocolate glaze is my favorite. Love the bts and kpop stuff inside and the adorable plushies are so cute. You just feel happy walking in, they have such a great vibe. The cashier was so sweet, she threw in a couple of extra donut holes and even gifted my preschooler a cute toy flute. How sweet is that!? Great service, great food and great atmosphere.
