“I love this little coffee and tea shop! The owner and employees are always so friendly and helpful! There are a lot of different coffee and tea drinks to choose from. Get the affogato if you’re in the mood for something decadent! What I really love about the shop is their support of the local arts! Each month there is a fresh showing of artwork on the walls. Usually there is a meet the artist event some time during the month. There is a space with casual seating and lots of little tables and chairs. There is one large table with higher chairs that is perfect for larger group meetings. If you haven’t been here, come check it out!“

A “little hole in the wall” neighborhood donut shop with sausage rolls as well. I moved to McKinney around March and this place is such a nice little spot to sit awhile with delicious brewed coffee as well. Everyone from local workers, families and executives also come in to get consistently great baked goods of which the “cinnamon roll” is my favorite. But I usually get another donut too not to mention their air light donut holes.

I know the employees have to do what they are told and it's my own fault because I should have known better to ask for no ice but if you people really want to get your money's worth then I suggest you ask for little or no ice. They also had samples to try. I tried the apple pie sample and got the strawberry pie with vanilla ice cream. It was truly amazing but a bit too sweet for me. Place was also charming. The slight hint of sweetness lingered on my palate, making it an indulgent yet comforting start to my morning. For breakfast, I opted for the Migas with a side of beans. It was delicious and portion was just right, I actually had leftovers. My spouse chose the fluffy blueberry pancakes, which were equally impressive. They arrived stacked high and adorned with a generous helping of fresh blueberries and a dusting of powdered sugar. A side of maple syrup added a touch of sweetness, and the pancakes themselves were light and airy, making them a true breakfast treat! The service at El Mejor Cafe was great. We will be back! 🫶🏼“
