Have not had good icing like this from many other stores recently, and they are generous with it too. Very nice family-run store and staff. Great service across multiple visits. Have even made custom donuts on request while waiting.Early, first opening experience with the cake donuts was a bit mixed, (oily and burnt or crunchy), thinking wrong cooking temperature, but better now. The sausage rolls are good too although seem a little light on the cheese inside. If going for donut holes, check your count, sometimes get ten versus a dozen as ordered. Still recommend them regardless. They also have a couple coolers stocked with lots of drink types for grab-n-go in the morning rush, or can dine-in too. Easy direct access off of SB Hwy121, with a turn lane for NB traffic.“

“My favorite coffee shop in McKinney. Great atmosphere, comfortable seating, friendly staff and amazing coffee. I love all the unique flavors they offer... try the Kentucky! I come here to work often and have not had a bad experience yet. There are plenty of plugs for those with laptops which is very thoughtful for a coffee shop to have. I've seen people bring in their dogs to grab and go, and love that they are dog-friendly. They also have great gluten free options, which I'm very excited about! I don't have to drive 6 miles to find a morning breakfast option. My only complaint about this place is the parking. Get there early!“

“Wonderful! I’ve been to Paris and this takes you right there in a very real way. This could totally be a real shop in Paris. Took my daughters for the first time after church for a fun outing - lovely. Got a sweet crepe and a lunch one. Both were unique and very filling. They have coffee, I didn’t realize they had all this! Great meeting spot like a Starbucks.On a side note- as a business owner myself, you really need to rethink all of the bathroom dispensers and holders - there are cleaner and more efficient items you can purchase. For example- use a foam soap dispenser that is plastic with an added drip tray, it will not rust or leak. The toilet paper holder also makes a person pull out twice as much- use one that attaches 2 single rolls side by side without a key. The trash can is crazy small (get a Costco one that is larger). Paper towels, get a keyed metal unit that takes the trifold towels. It’s cleaner and limits use. Currently the bathroom honestly felt like a dirty shell gas station.“

“I recommend, really good. I ordered 8 glazed gluten free donuts today. Mimi (the owner) helped me. I told her I was allergic to gluten, and she said they have a dedicated fryer for all their gluten free donuts. And the glazed icing was gluten free and no contamination. She also said to tell her if you have a gluten allergy and she will be able to get you more (different) icings like cherry and maple, etc…. The donuts were really good, but expensive. I ordered 8 total donuts and it was $34.55. But whatever, inflation is here. I will go back!! The GF donuts were thinner and not as puffy as gluten donuts (that I remember from 20 years ago before I went gluten free) but it was a treat. I could have eaten all 8 but I restrained myself. “I loved this coffee so much I’m considering diff strategies when it comes to parking so I can come ALL THE TIME …. I have a toddler so walking around after finding a parking 5 min away is not super convenient for a quick grab , so I come on the weekends …. I’m thinking on ideas bc I need this daily in my life ? the place is gorgeous !!! But I won’t sit down and interrupt the chill vibes with my super social daughter lol she immediately wanted to sit and play the guitar … but she’s very well behaved and didn’t BC IM IN MOM MODE and to come here I want to be in off mom mode and … that’s not happening anytime soon… so, back to my parking strategy plan for a quick grab and go ! And I have found that majority of the time when someone blasts a local business on social media , there is usually a back story that they are not telling. Anyway, I am so glad I did. I did not see anything that they reported on. And if they frequent these cafes, they'd know that the prices are definitely in line with the "going rate". Some people just like to complain I guess. “THE BEST Starbucks in McKinney by far!!!! The Manager Rufuro is the sweetest manager and very attentive to what's going on in her store. The baristas are always up bear and talkative and always put a smile on everyone's faces, especially Victor, Kiran, Jess, Kylie, Julie, Evelyn, Grace, Claudia, And Tara. The drinks are always made to perfection and the food is always warm. This is by far my favorite Starbucks and the atmosphere is just cozy and great to relax and do some work. “What a great new coffee option! I have tried many of the coffee drinks, favorites are Carmel Blondie and Mexican Mocha, but had a custom lavender, honey latte that was delicious. Love that their drinks are not too sweet and they will adjust as requested. Had phenomenal service from Emma B and Oleks every time I go in. Emma is my regular person and she is so kind and quick to offer suggestions on new drinks to try. Last time I was in she had read the company's spring newsletter and was able to tell me about drinks to look forward to for spring - so cool! Can't wait to go back and try the new spring offerings. Normally when I order lavender lattes, it’s always either watered down or you can barely taste the lavender! George’s Coffee was able to achieve both flavor and quality! The caramel macchiato was not too sweet or too bitter, it was the perfect hot cup of coffee on the way to work! The atmosphere is great, a nice spot to study or enjoy your morning coffee.
