“We have been on the hunt for a breakfast place closer to home and we have found it! It is a beautiful upscale brunch place with a bar, with excellent food and over the top service. The coffee is from Italy with bold tones but no bitterness. It is difficult to find good coffee. The pancakes were light and sweet. The bacon is very meaty. I love Egg cited!“

“I highly recommend Harvest for their food. We have been coming to this restaurant since it opened and this was our first time in the newer space since it is so hard to get a reservation. We came for my husband’s birthday and it was perfection from the minute we walked in. The host said happy birthday to him and then had us go upstairs to the live music area on the 3rd floor. We had to wait a few minutes but the manager took care of our cocktail order because of it. The music from the vinyl stripes was excellent. The waitress darnesha was kind attentive and super happy. What amazing customer service! He was also able to pick a dessert off the menu. Such an enjoyable evening. My husband’s day was made with the live music and great food. Thank you“

“I’m so disappointed because this used to be our favorite place. The last few visits, the food has been noticeably subpar. The menu may look the same, but the quality and preparation of items have changed. For example, the crab cake Benedict used to feature homemade crab cakes, and now it’s a fried frozen-style patty. The one-star review is really based on the service experience, and unfortunately it’s the reason we won’t be returning. While waiting for our table, the manager or possible owner was telling single-party guests there was a 30-minute wait, while parties of three or more were being quoted only 10 minutes. An older woman standing there heard him tell the group in front of her 10 minutes right before he told her 30. The more I thought about it afterward, the more disappointed I was that I didn’t speak up in the moment. Treating guests differently based solely on party size is unacceptable and left a very bad impression.“

“We (family of 4 plus 2 grandparents) celebrated a birthday on a Friday night.
Daughter was excited to find salmon on the kids’ menu. Others in the party also had the salmon (either with the mushroom risotto or with the rice and zoodles). The salmon was cooked perfectly! Burgers are also great and so was the pesto primavera (with chicken).

Service was outstanding (thanks, Abby) and the deserts were excellent. We shared the chocolate cake (huge) and the peanut butter pie!

“I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. Needless to say I am very excited that they are finally open again! If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

We also really appreciated the manager and lead hostess stopping by to check on us. “Okay first of all I've been going to Great Outdoors for 40 years and then some. The original one downtown Dallas is the best. My sandwich was Artisan crafted today. The problem that I have is just not customer friendly. These people act like they hate their job and customers! Like they had a better place to be and I was an inconvenience in their day. I walked in obviously the first customer of the day the lady that was at the sandwich cutting station, the shift leader, can make a badass sandwich but has no people friendly skills. No greeting when I walked in. I started the conversation off with I'm hungover and hungry make me up awesome sandwich . Obviously I was not as hungover as she was. not a people person obviously. So up to the cashier which they had already rung up my food prior to me getting there. I had a free sandwich coupon. My sandwich was completely hot and warm by the time I got into the car it was cold it took four employees at the register about 10 minutes to figure out how to scan and push one button to honor the free sandwich. It's double punch Tuesday she said she scanned it to give me my double punches but have yet to see that on my Great Outdoors Rewards app. So confused and perplexed by the free sandwich it became a real shit show real fast!😢
Hey corporate office I'm self-employed good employees are hard to come by and I understand this but maybe it's time changing management and staff have you seen all the reviews lately seems to be the same issue over and over! Out with the old in with the new year! The reason I bought my house less than a half a mile from your location it's because of your location and my love for great outdoor sandwich shop it was a selling point for my house in McKinney....!!!! I should have moved closer to the great American hero sandwich shop where they're always friendly and love to come to work!“
