“The decor is deceptive.. the place feels like a diner and isn't decorated with many warm elements. The music selection is an odd Latin/South American dance mix and though it matches the decor, it's a bit of a contrast with the food and the service. The food, first, was absolutely amazing. The hummus was so good and made with high quality ingredients and olive oil. One of the people in our party ate it directly out of the bowl with a spoon. The restaurant serves a lentil soup that had a really pleasing exotic blend of flavors, enhanced with sourness from either lemon or tomato. One of our party got a lamb tower and the meat was so tender and juicy.. It was definitely marinated at least overnight. I had a gyro.. the gyro was passable, but I'll be ordering a tower the next time I go back. The seasoned fries were amazing! We had a vegan in our party who really enjoyed the lentil soup and grilled vegetables. We didn't try the falafel, but they have it there. For dessert, we tried the cream puffs and baklava. The cream puffs had a pleasant mouth feel and were made of a light dough. When you bit down on them, they'd suddenly make a satisfying pop, releasing a cream that wasn't too sweet and had a taste reminiscent of ice cream. The baklava wasn't a typical filo dough pastry. It was a horseshoe shaped, rolled up, light and flaky pastry filled with minced pistachio in the center. I'd recommend both. The service was great! Our waitress was warm and friendly and her personality was super authentic! Did a great job of explaining dishes to us. Attentive and engaging without being overbearing. She genuinely seemed to like what she was doing and really enhanced the experience. Not necessarily the best setting for a formal dinner, but a great place to go get some really tasty Mediterranean food in a relaxed setting.Vegetarian options: Falafel, salads, grilled vegetablesKid-friendliness: Unpretentious atmosphere.. music is a bit loud, so kids won't disrupt the atmosphere.“

“Just a quality, good spot to eat. The menu had a vast variety of options, as well as some slightly more unique things (not just your average burger and fries). The star of the show was the goat cheese and pepper jelly appetizer! One of the best appetizers I've probably ever had. Absolutely delicious. My entre was just regular (seared ahi tuna bowl). I wish they cooked or seasoned the edamame.Great service and good atmosphere!“

“Don't be put off by the odd strip mall this place is in. There is a reason this is one of the oldest Ethiopian restaurants in town.. Get Sambusa to start. These fried meat dumplings are great. The Yebeg Watt is always delicious and of couse I love injera (Ethiopian bread). There are plenty if vegetarian and vegan options. The white table linen creates a great atmosphere without being too formal. The service can be a bit slow but this is a family place not a chain restaurant looking to turn the table quickly.“
“This food truck was at my daughters unity festival at uplift Luna school. Their food was amazing and the service was awesome. I had the boss and some chips and a drink. The best brisket I’ve had in a long time. Shout out to Zoe Laquita and the other gentleman.“

“I was looking for a place to celebrate my birthday with my family, and this popped up in my search. The reviews convinced me, and my own experience is why I'm adding to the positive reviews. My kids and I are gluten-free, so they were so excited to find a kids menu that had lots of options for even them, such as Mac n Cheese! We are not used to getting dessert either, so that was a huge treat for us since all the desserts are gluten-free. The chocolate pudding was wonderful and plenty for us to share. Everything was fresh and tasty. My husband is glad we don't live close enough to come here every day, or we'd be broke, haha. It's definitely a place we will regularly visit when in Dallas. The place (even the bathrooms) were clean and the gal waiting on tables there was so friendly and pleasant. She came by several times to check on us, collect plates, bring us a to go box, etc. Happy we found a healthy gem that met our dietary needs and kept it tasty!Dietary restrictions: Gluten freeKid-friendliness: Gluten free kids meals is rare and wonderful!“

“We ate outside but the heaters did their job and kept us warm. Every employee we encountered was beyond nice. I dont know if he was the manager or owner but he was great too. One of the patio tables was unleveled and fixed it eventhough i told him it was ok. Our waiter was awesome and even the hostess came to check on us at one point. The sushi was fresh and we really enjoyed the specialty roles. Everything was great. We cant wait to go back.“

“Went here with some out of town friends. A solid find and a solid option for ramen. My wife and I got the umami duck. The broth was flavorful and the noodles (we got the egg noodles) were chewy. We added extra noodles and were able to split the bowl. Spacious restaurant with friendly service. Their menu is quite extensive and the reviews are positive. I would be interested in coming back to try their tonkotsu ramen and their appetizers + other entrees“

“Great neighborhood bar; most of the people that come here live in the surrounding Vitruvian Park apartments so it feels like anytime you go in you always run in to someone you know. There's a real sense of community here which is really nice. The food is SO good (best fries around, I swear) and the bartenders are awesome and a lot of fun. The owner, Craig, is extremely welcoming and so friendly if you happen to bump into him. There is also a digital jukebox where you can download an app and play songs off of, which is a really cool touch.“

“Great little spot my friend and I found while in Texas! The appetizers were really great! I had the egg rolls and the fried pot stickers! They made a special soup for me upon request. The vegetables were over cooked into the soup, but it still meant a lot that they made it for me! The atmosphere was awesome and I enjoyed the the guitarist named Guy. He played some good relaxing songs while we ate. The service was excellent and I was extremely satisfied overall! Definitely recommend this place!“

“The best Chicago style stuffed pizza in Dallas. Every bit as good as Giordano’s or Mangia Napoli in Chicagoland!!! It was even better than I remembered it from before. Suzana is doing a great job supported by Josh and the rest of the staff. I am very pleased they were able to reopen and look forward to watching them grow their presence in N Texas!!!“

“The waitress was unaware of our booked package and she didn't info us that the Mojitos for the under aged would be charged extra. We assumed it would fall under the 2 cocktails per person included in the package. Else the experience was delightful.“

“Once you have had a salad from Salata it is difficult to go anywhere else. They have the best salad options worldwide. So many options. Different varieties. I love Salata. They have a few restaurants in Texas. The best salad chain I have been too. Healthy eating choices and fresh food. They also have soups. I recommend the tomato basil soup. Perfect for cold and rainy days.Vegetarian options: You can make a custom salad with no meats.“

“I was in the area and had never tried this spot. So glad I did. From the moment I walked in the cashier greeted me warmly. I ordered the gyro chicken platter. So delicious! I went away happy and full and I will most definitely be a regular customer “

“It's been just over three years since I've last eaten here, and I'm glad I returned:Service: gracious and attentive, these waitresses (no male servers today) earn and deserve full restaurant tips, even though this is a buffet format. They take care of your every need, proactively and efficiently, outstanding.Food: Fresh and good, solid B sushi, the best sushi buffet I have ever been to. Their selection of salads, tempura, grilled, and baked food is extensive and impressive as well, literally so much selection that anyone would be happy with the available offerings.Price: Has nearly doubled since I first started eating here over 20 years ago, when it was Tokyo One. That is in line with inflation in the overall economy, so while I don't love it, it's still one of the best sushi/Japanese cuisine deals in town at $26 (plus tip and tax) for lunch (significantly more for dinner), south of $35 total for a dream AYCE lunch with a generous tip.Atmosphere: Unchanged in the decades I've been dining here, basically Japanese lodge traditional in the main seating areas. Pleasant traditional Japanese instrumental music is played in the background, creating a nice and comfortable environment for chatting with your fellow diners.Miscellaneous: Parking is plentiful self park behind the restaurant (access from Midway or Beltline), with lots of big trees for shady spots when it's hot out. Don't miss out on their ice cream (red bean, green tea, strawberry, and mango)- I usually get a small scoop of each, and it is a highlight of the meal, a perfect way to cap off the experience.I will be back soon, next time I am in the mood for a sushi-Japanese foodfest.“

“I'm surprised this place hasn't gotten more recognition/reviews. Best pizza in the metroplex. Yeah, I said it. Excellent under carriage. Minimal flop. Good ranch. Great general Italian food/pasta well. Low key also has top 3 burgers in DFW. Atmosphere is unique as well. 10/10. You're welcome.“

“I give this a five based on the people and atmosphere I want. My review is likely based on different criteria than what you are used to. The bartenders will remember you, the people will be the same, the food will be consistent, you can easily become a regular here. This place gets a 5 across the board for the refugees from Stadium Cafe that still need a "third place" . This isn't home, it isn't work, it's where you disassociate and love the fact that it exists.“

“Came here for lunch on a weekday. This is the second location I have visited. Service was prompt and we were greeted entering the establishment. The food was hot, fresh, and flavorful when it arrived. Quality was consistent with both locations. Overall a great place to visit!“

“On each visit, this establishment consistently impresses. The ambiance is delightful, particularly for outdoor seating where one can enjoy the pleasant weather while observing passersby. Even in cooler temperatures, the addition of fire pits at each table ensures comfort. We indulged in the Truffle Fries, Parmesan Truffle Brussels, and The Classic Burger with add-ons: an over-easy egg, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Splitting the burger between my partner and I is our tradition, and it's just the right portion size. The burger was impeccably seasoned, complemented by a soft wheat bun with a hint of sweetness. While the truffle Brussels were flavorful, they leaned slightly towards being greasy. The fries, though standard, were satisfying.“

“We came here for lunch and it was our 1st visit to this location. The server could've been a bit more nice instead of shoving the cheese grater in front of us and shouting "CHEESE", but he explained the dessert menu well. My watermelon Moscato sangria was SUPER sweet and tasted no Moscato......it could've been mixed better!???????Parking: Wide parking lot and a lot of space.“

“Excellent service, sushi was perfect and delicious. I have always loved dining at RA but the music was so loud that we could not hear each other talk. No one was at the bar and the waiter asked them to turn the music down twice but it was still too loud. I never write anything negative but the restaurant should consider why it's never crowded.“
