“I didn’t know smoking is still allowed inside a restaurant or bar in some places. I guess I’ve lived in places that don’t allow it for so long it is a rude awakening to open a door and smell smoke. Disgusting. They do have an outdoor seating area.
That being said, I stayed and had a $4 draft beer and a French Dip Hoagie with fried onion pedals. The fried onion pedals were awesome and the French dip was pretty darn good, too. The au jus was great without being overly salty like some places.
Service was friendly and prompt. I took 2 stars off of atmosphere for the smoking. If you don’t mind that, you would likely give it 5 stars for bar atmosphere.“

“I've only been 3 times, but at different times of the day. This last time I was there on a Friday night, and they had live music which I enjoyed. I just really enjoy the vibe of this place. We were at a different bar before that and I knew that we'd have a better time at the truck yard. And we did. Never disappoints“

“The coolest spot in Dallas for Sober Fun and meeting fantastic people and friends. Chris, the Kava Bar master bartender is a phenomenal resource and amazing person. Every employee and patron treats you like family. After a major foot surgery, the teas let me use 1/4 of the prescribed dose of narcotic pain medicine. Kava is the solution for social anxiety with no side effects or addictive effects.

“Just had lunch at Porta Di Roma and it was absolutely delicious. Homemade sauces & desserts! We went after the lunch crowd so was quiet. Jana provided us with exceptional service and was very personable. Price point is excellent - we’ll definitely be going back. So glad we found another great Richardson restaurant right out our back door.“

“This is my favorite bar to go to. It's off the grid. Has locals and new faces all the time. The drinks are affordable. The bartenders are charismatic and attentive towards a great customer experience. I'll be back again and again.“

“The chicken fajita tacos alone are worth 5 stars. The chipotle vinaigrette is incredible. I got it on the side as well with them.
The other tacos we tried also had some great flavor layering. Definitely worth checking out and going more than once ?“

“This place was fantastic! Open later than most places nearby! Great food, awesome options regarding pizza styles which was a first for us to see! Great staff from the very beginning of meeting the hostess!! We will be back for sure!!“
“Free play is a neat arcade experience with an uncommon twist... They also have console game tables while you enjoy snacks and drinks. There are plenty of nostalgic and modern games that take you back decades all the way to the 80's! Bring your friends, enjoy a few drinks over competitive games and enjoy. They do have a nice beer and cider inventory behind the bar and plenty of places to rest your drink while you play. Clean bathrooms, and game areas although there wasn't any sanitizer visible to clean up after someone was playing, which is why I knocked down a star.“
“I was in town for the weekend and And wanted to find a decent daiquiris to go place. Quick Google search led me here. I must say this is one of the best daiquiris I’ve had in a long time and they even had red velvet cake, which is to die for next time I am in my old stopping grounds of farmers branch. I will definitely come back and partake of the spirits that they have here The staff was ultra friendly, clean and fast friendly service. I wish I could give it more stars.“

“I've never been to a truck yard, because I don't really drink. Came here for a memorial, and I think the atmosphere alone made for a nice change of scenery. I didn't try the food nor the drinks, so I couldn't rate that nor rate the service. But the location is really interesting.“

“First time here from out of town and it was really was good. Food came hot and fresh. GM even came over to check on us. Had queso and chips, fries, fired calamari( a bit salty but still good). I will order it again. Nachos, pasta and a smash burger. Family of 5. Our waitress Grace was AWESOME. THANKS GRACE!! Oh I forgot the bake potato soup and ice cream for the kiddos. I would definitely go back.“

Vegetarian options: I always grab a couple of pizzas that I can customize to satisfy my very picky taste! They have so many pizza toppings that I'm able to order a vegan supreme that will give any meat pizza a run for it's money!“

“Lonestar Roadhouse is a neighborhood bar that is fun and friendly. Always good music and something going on every night. It's clean and well run. You can tell the owners are hands-on. I've been going 20? years. I only wish the cover charge was $8 instead of $10.“

“Stopped in on their first day open to the public. Very unassuming facade, but the inside was magical. Truly unique and intimate experience. The cocktails are truly upscale in price and quality. The presentation of the cocktails is very well thought out, and the food was unbelievably good -- transcendent even. The synthetized experience transports you into a bussing train car. Staff was courteous and excited to be there. Please get in on the ground floor of this place before it skyrockets in popularity.“

“I wanted to give thanks to our server, Trevor!. My wife and I came here for our anniversary. We don't usually go to fancy places, and we felt a little out of place, but Trevor met us where we were at and made us feel very comfortable and accommodated. The food was phenomenal, but the service was even better. We both got the Filet with various veggies/sides. The Mac and Cheese is incredible!. To top it off, we were gifted an amazing Cheesecake and Espresso for our anniversary. Thanks again, Trevor!. You made our night!“

“First you smell delicious food and your tummy starts to grumble. Then you see allllll of the delicious options and your tummy starts to growl. Jess is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING and a true pleasure to meet, all of the staff is fun and friendly and you feel like a regular right away. Everyone eating is happy and the restaurant is extremely clean. Lots of seating and they will help you to your car if you get it to go. “I absolutely love this place and I probably order it way more than I need to, me and my husband usually get chili chicken, spicy ramen and spicy rice cakes (I dont want to misspell the actual name lol). We have it delivered so I haven't been to the actual location but if the atmosphere is as good as the food I'm missing out for sure. its always hot and nothing is ever leaking or messy. Try it I don't think you'll regret it.“

“We only had an appetizer, so I can't say how the meals are. However, the drink I had? Stellar. I had Hendricks & tonic, just the right combination. Delish. Our server, don't recall her name, was wonderful. Very pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere? Really relaxed. I wasn't sure what I was walking into, but jeans and a sweater was more than enough. I will go back.“
