“Stopped by The Hub in Addison today for the first time and had an awesome experience. The place has such a laid back neighborhood sports bar vibe while still feeling fun and energetic. Tons of TVs, great atmosphere, and everyone seemed to know each other which honestly made it feel really welcoming right away.

Huge shoutout to Brittney behind the bar — she was constantly moving, checking on everyone, super friendly, and somehow still managed to make every person feel taken care of. You can absolutely tell she works hard and cares about the customers. Rich invited me out and I’m glad he did because this definitely feels like one of those local spots you end up coming back to.

Also enjoyed hanging out and chatting with regulars like Michael and Brad — good people and great conversation all around.

You can tell The Hub has built a loyal crowd for a reason. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Addison area and looking for a chill sports bar with great service and good energy.“

“First time here. Recommended by a friend so we met for drinks at the bar. Large bar with plenty of seating. It quickly became obvious that there were lots of regulars.
Service - Very good service for the one bartender that was taking care of the bar and tables alike. One legged woman in an ass kicking contest, but she was very friendly, very quick, and very efficient. Good personality and knew many customers by name.
Food - Did not eat this time, but my friend said that the grilled oysters are outstanding. From the dishes that I saw, portions looked large.
Atmosphere - Got really loud a couple of times, but understandable since we were in the bar. Standard bar scene with plenty of TVs and some games. Was able to watch some World Cup while we were catching up.
Overall - Nice dive bar with a lot to offer. Plenty of beers on tap and a full service bar. It is a smoking establishment, but has good ventilation. Will definitely be back to try the oysters and hang at the bar.“

“Our booking was in that quiet time between lunch and dinner but the ambiance was lovely, even if it was just the two of us dining. I am so happy about choosing this establishment and since my partner loves Mediterranean food and it was his birthday, it was perfect! “We were fortunate enough to have my Dad’s retirement party here! It was a huge success! Sean was very easy to work with on the planning. It wasn’t complicated and we were in control of the process. We made a normal reservation, he gave us the menu and we were able to put together a budget. No contract, down payment, or minimums. Once we arrived to the venue everything was set-up for the party and the food was delicious. Sarah was the manager we worked with on site. She was so nice and accommodating. Madison and McKenzie were in charge of all of our tables for fifty people. They did not skip a beat with taking care of us I highly recommend for a party, night out, or any occasion. Plus it’s connected to a hotel. My overall impression The Shark Club is a fun and clean atmosphere. The staff was communicative, helpful, and the service was everything I needed and more. Food is amazing as well. Tacos, parmesan tots, and the lettuce wraps were a few of the favorites. Prices were also reasonable. Highly recommend and we will be back!“

“Went here for the first time today. Will be back and will be asking to sit in section. Food was good, definitely get wings. Atmosphere was good as well. We were seated quickly and was amazing. She was attentive despite the chaos with the game. She also did something that has become a lost art in the food service lately, she checked on me after I received my meal. I've got to say that this will not be my last time dinning there. Sit in section folks, you won't regret it!“

“People who leave a bad review about anything, and the bad reviews that I’ve read about this place I didn’t even see while I was there. My bartender Valerie was amazing super friendly, talkative, and made really good drinks. Exactly what we look for when we go out for drinks. Service was outstanding! And because of that we bought a membership, and will be back. We had fun.“

“Y’all have GOT to go check out Assembly IceHouse because this place absolutely blew us away. From the second you walk in, you’re hit with how gorgeous it is inside and out and everything is spotless clean. There are a gazillion TVs so no matter where you sit, you can catch every game. They’ve got those awesome garage doors that open up to a huge patio with tons of seating and turf for outdoor games, which makes the whole place feel open, energetic, and fun. The food was next level. We had the Smashburger which was unreal, the grilled chicken sandwich, and those beef tallow fries that I’m still thinking about. Every bite was amazing. We were lucky enough to meet the owners JR and Sara and they are truly outstanding people. You can feel their heart in this place. The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming, and there’s even a great little stage for live music which is actually how we discovered it since our friends were playing there. On top of all that, there’s an attached taco and tequila bar that is absolutely beautiful and adds even more to the experience. This is 100 percent a must try and will definitely be our new go to spot. If you’re in Plano or anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it.“

“This was a last minute plan that we had decided to do during our trip to Texas. Immediately was greeted by a welcoming host and providing info on the best deals/ games to play there. We came with a group of 8 & played baseball, darts, axe throwing and dodgeball. The staff was great on explaining the rules/ how to play the games and provided excellent food/info during our time here. 10/10 recommend.

“Just checked out this sports bar for the first time. I thought the place was okay as far as environment it had different games such as Dart or Billiard. Service was also not bad. For drinks I got the bluemoon which was good but the chips and salsa that we got as an appetizer were not good. We actually had originally ordered guacamole but apparently they were out of it so we asked for salsa instead. Overall not a bad place for games and socializing, however, I am not sure how the food quality compares considering the salsa that went with the chips was kind of sweet.“

“Wizards is one of my favorite places to relax and hang out. The atmosphere is always fun, the drinks are great, and the staff make you feel welcome every time.

“First off, this review is solely based on the tournament ran on Saturday. We made an hour drive out to play in the tournament after calling the bar and asking for the TD to get information on the tournament that we were told about by a few people. Theresa stated that she could answer any question about the tournament, she then clearly stated the tournament was open, not fargo rated, but open to all players. After making the drive out, we were told that we couldn't play, and the bar has no right to say it's open when it's clearly not. Ok, but you run your tournament out of an establishment which should be clearly informed about your tournament, so that no wrong information is provided. So yeah, sorta your fault Mr. TD. On top of that, one of the other guys, a nice bald headed guy was apparently running his mouth talking to other players out of playing in the tournament if the TD made the exception this one time bc of the time and gas we spent to get there on false information. What kind of person does that? One that needs to put his big boy britches on and just deal with it. Waste of time, gas and energy on information we were given.“
