“The smoked salmon appetizer was a little lackluster in execution. It came with only four crackers and basically a sheet of smoked salmon, which was not really conducive to stacking onto the crackers, plus a few random slices of tomato. The flavor itself was there, but the overall setup of the dish just felt a little off.
That said, both of our entrees absolutely blew us out of the water and really turned the meal around. The Lucky’s pasta was incredibly decadent and super delicious with an amazing sauce, and the seared snapper had an immensely flavorful butter sauce that was just flat out delicious. The kalua dessert was also immensely flavorful and a great way to end the meal. The ambience and lighting were a little dark, but still nice, and the service was friendly throughout.“

“The chashu pork was succulent, tonkotsu was delicious, black fungus was excellent, and egg was perfect. Super delicious, and served hot. This place has some of the finest Ramen in the country.“

“This is the second time we've been there, but had been several years since we were there the first time. We stayed at the hotel next-door so we could just walk over. Therefore I could have a couple of Manhattans, which were excellent. Hameed was our server and he was just a great guy and make sure we had a wonderful experience.“

“Awesome place! Had a buddy that stayed a little longer than me. It got a little rocky and he woke up in a ditch two miles down the road and was missing his hat, shoes, glasses and tore up clothes. Oh, did I mention his phone was missing also. Had a great time. FYI, I'm banned usually once a month! Chicken fried chicken is great also.

“This hidden gym in Carrollton Texas has the best seafood boil of any place I’ve ever been to. As a seafood fanatic, this is miles ahead of any other seafood restaurant I have been to. I ordered three pounds of crawfish with their signature “Captain Loui” sauce medium heat and it was delicious to say the least. The wait time was incredibly short compared to other seafood boil spots in the DFW area and the staff were friendly and kind. I didn’t see an employee who didn’t look happy to be there which was a nice touch to the already amazing atmosphere. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone!“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

“At the Grapevine location in Harvest Hall, this was the best stall option out of the few our group tried. My gluten-sensitive husband ordered their daily special of loaded fried that were topped with steak, shrimp, and lobster. The garlic aioli was a bit strong, but tasty! It was a bit pricey, but so were all the other stalls and at least at this vendor you get lobster! See the picture in the comment!“

“Ate the Irving location and it was nice but the portions are a lot smaller… at least for my Hudson Salad, I would suggest the one on Lovers Lane. The salad on the left is at Lovers Lane and the other is Irving and you can clearly see more of the bowl. They were both delicious and service was great but I was really disappointed.“

They did inform us we were not going to be seated together but it being last minute we were okay with it. They sat us in booths next to each other. Two different waitresses. Our waitress right away told us we could not be moving around from table to table. She was not able to handle such a big table. Very unprofessional disregarding we were paying customers. Not sure if we would visit again with that kind of treatment. FYI, we still tipped more than what was expected.“

“Truluck’s is a gem in west Plano. From the moment you walk in you know this restaurant is going to be great.

The staff is both friendly and competent. The design of the restaurant is stunning.

That said, the standout is the food. The crab cake was magnificent. Lump crab with no filler perfectly cooked with a delicious dill based sauce.

The sea bass puts Eddie V’s to shame. A perfect 8 ounces of seafood with delicious crab fried rice. Kudos to the staff in the kitchen. They obviously know what they are doing !👨‍🍳

“One of the best seafood restaurants in the country. Whenever I am in town I always stop by this restaurant. And we usually order fried calamari and crab spinach dip for starters. Now main dish of choice depends of what we’re craving. Their lobster bisque remind me of home. They have huge portions (everything bigger in TEXAS) and great variety of seafood meals to pig out on. “This is probably my favorite seafood restaurant. There's another great one I go to, but this specific restaurant and location is the most consistent at making the fish really well.

Whether it's grilled, fried, ceviche style, or made in a stew, everything they serve is cooked perfectly, right. I haven't had anything that I didn't like and they do a fantastic job.

They also great cocktails if you're there for that time of day, or based on what I've seen for some follks if you're there for lunch. 😂

Some of my favorite dishes.

- the daily specials during the week are delicious! And shockingly affordable
- the ceviche appetizer is a go-to for me and big enough for a meal
- I love their Caldo de Mariscos because it's the only one I've come across so far that's kind of a Cajun style with a red broth
