“We walked in to pick up a to go order and were warmly greeted. The server was kind to share some of the restaurant history and asked for a review, which as business owners, we like to oblige and want to help other businesses. He threw in a mango lassi with our order, which was not expected and SO delicious. All of our food was AMAZING and enough to have for lunch the next day. We ordered garlic naan, Gobi 65, Malabar with beef and veggies, chicken and lamb biryani.“

“Sunday early dinner after Dallas Broadway show with the in-laws could not have been more perfect. Began at greeting upon entry and again seating upstairs. Timing of service could not have been more professional by our server, Shelbi. Drinks, appetizers were the best. I missed the whole story but the oysters from Maine are exclusive to TruLucks and superb. The calamari was crisp and sauce was the best. Bread serve was presented like I've never seen. Cocktails and wine were enjoyed by all and with no rush, and presentation was top notch. All five of us ordered the 3 course menu and selections were numerous. Prime rib was the winner for me. Filet and the salmon were other choices at the table and everyone loved them. I have to add, TruLucks served me the best wedge salad I have ever had! Big blue cheese crumbles and bacon was the best. I will go back for just that and the other best in world carrot cake! Bottom line, it was a special occasion and there really was no way it could have been more impressive. My father in law enjoyed it so much he insisted on picking up the tab. And that speaks volumes. Thank TruLucks. We will visit you in Plano next.“

“I am indeed a foodie and very picky about restaurants in the DFW area. However, Chef Gorji met my high standards with foods that were amazingly prepared. You can't go wrong with whatever you order but the Sea Bass and Vegetarian Lasagna had me wanting more. The grill vegetables were so well prepared I was left shocked by the seasoning he used. The GM gave the history of this location. A few years back, there was a terrible tornado that ripped through the location, but the history of rebuilding the location and the symbolic life jackets on the wall of the 12 survivors who were in the location when the tornado hit.

Honestly, this is what gives a place true character, and I'm sure this place will live on to tell more phenomenal stories. Cheers to these amazing people running this place. A true testament to honest and great hospitality.“

“I had the best time this afternoon at your restaurant. It’s been years since I have been in and I was amazed at how well I was treated. If you read this and you are looking to find a place where you are treated like a regular even though you are not this is it. It’s a hidden treasure that many people obviously know about but still accommodates that desire to find a unique and quaint place. I went on a Sunday at 3:40 pm and the bartender Brennan (sorry if I got this wrong) treated me like I was a privileged guest at a members only club. I sat at the bar but all of the other waitstaff made me fill the same way. What a rare moment in this day and age. Drinks were excellent and well priced. To the owner, thank you for creating this moment with your obvious talent of knowing who to hire.“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

I also had the Greek salad, and wow—their Greek dressing might be the best I’ve ever tasted. Seriously addictive. The Chicken Souvlaki was tender, perfectly seasoned, and just delicious all around. Everything was fresh and so tasty. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!“
