“What a special way to celebrate the total solar eclipse and our daughter's tenth birthday! The steaks were delicious, the cocktails scrumptious, and the service excellent, truly, from every staff member. The valets graciously set up extra patio umbrellas to keep us all in the shade beforehand. Everyone, staff and diners, enjoyed the totality together in the parking lot, and it couldn't have been better. Thanks to all the excellent staff at Al Biernat's!“
“Dinner was delicious. We had the short rib pasta and the bolognese (our favorite). Bread pudding desert was a great finale. They have live piano music on Fri and Sat. Paco, our server, was friendly and excellent so you will be in good company if you get him. Restaurant is decorated nicely and tables were spaced appropriately. If you love Italian, you will be happy you came here.“
“This area was packed on the weekends - so do remember to make reservation! The food was awesome! We made a mistake without calling in first and that was a NO no. Our waiter was from SCAL, but moved to Texas 10 years ago; he was so friendly and helpful, even joked around with our table often. Please listen to their suggestion, you can't go wrong.“
“We decide to go out for a date night after few months move to Dallas Was a truly great place for dinner and beautiful view from the high rise , my food is super good and the only one I see my raw oysters not as good and fresh as I expect ,, but overall will b a place to comeBack again for me sometimes“
“My friend and I have always wanted to try Uchi. Oddly enough, we have uchi locations in our hometowns in AZ and CA. We came here on vacation and had some of the best service, food, and experiences of our lives. Bronson and Autumn serviced us and really made our whole experience. Their knowledge on each dish, the presentation, and background was unparalleled to anything I’ve ever had. We chose the chef’s selection for food and gave them our price range. Never have I had 10+ amazing dishes served with such purpose and presentation by Bronson. I HIGHLY recommend coming here and asking for Bronson to serve you. Autumn is in training but she was so kind and brought us her favorite dish! Love them both and LOVE the food at Uchi.“
“I had the pleasure of coming in on my birthday a few months back. Have to say, the food is absolutely exquisite and the drinks are to die for. Would be such a delight to come back soon and try more! Recommended quite a few friends and every single one of them love it here!!“
“I went to have high tea for my birthday and I'm so glad I did! It was delicious and felt like you were in Europe rather than Texas. Highly recommend!Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't say this is kid friendly. It's a somewhat upscale restaurant and there's not really kid food available. Perfect for date night without the kids though.“
“Sam is a great manager and he has helped me a few times. The greeters and valet are always so nice as I do get take out at times.I love the people that work there it is not an easy business and I also have loved Al for a lifetime although I do not personally know him he is a Master and so well loved by all.“
“I eat here atleast once a week. The pasta is really good. I always hear customers rave about the STUFFED POPTATO! ''Me personally'' I LOVE THE CHEESE STEAK SANDWITCHES. It is mouth watering good.!!The staff is nice for the most part! So I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS!!“
“Searched for a highly rated place to eat after touring the 6th Floor Museum and this was our choice. Ratings were correct, this place is HIGHLY recommended. Our party of 7 got a variety of plates, ranging from the Tomahawk Steak to most all appetizers. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was great! Some of our favorite dishes were the Mac and cheese, quail medallions, pork belly, and oysters. Corn bisque highly recommended! The elk tenderloins were not gamey at all and melted in your mouth. Chili and Brussels sprouts were all outstanding. Price wasn't outrageous for the quality of food/service you receive. We all agreed that we'd go back in a second. If in the area, this is well worth a visit.“
“Consistency in quality, year after year.Great ambiance that features live piano and a cozy horseshoe bar with the best martinis in town.Never experienced a bad meal or drink here, and the service is always top-notch.Menu highlights include: meatballs & marinara, spinach artichoke dip, cream of jalapeño soup, lobster ravioli, shrimp scampi, and sea bass.“
“One of the best restaurants I have eaten at. My husband took me to celebrate my birthday, we went with our children and everything was great, the beautiful place, the delicious food, the pleasant atmosphere, everything very well served, the people who attend very elegant. Phenomenal. We will surely “
“Made a birthday reservation for a small family dinner. Upon arrival, were greeted warmly by two charming front door staff and a sharp looking Manager. We were escorted to our table and were surprised to have a private room. The table was decorated with birthday bobbles and a card. Our server team of Julio and Vilena were polished, poised, and professional. Every interaction with them was timed perfectly, and never intrusive. They made several recommendations and also brought several wine samples to taste. We enjoyed appetizers before ordering entrees and never felt rushed. In addition to the couple of desserts ordered, a large platter with additional bites of desserts were presented with birthday wishes and a candle. The entrees steaks were cooked perfectly and enjoyed by all. We received a few to-go containers and bags to carry. Our two servers divided to-go food to separate family member groups. We all left extremely pleased and with a great deal of anticipation for our next visit to The Capital Grill. Thank you again for another memorable evening!“
“Trendy fish place with decent offerings. Dropped in as an alternative to Montlake - our go to seafood spot - and found it packed early on a Thursday afternoon. Seated at the bar after a short wait. The seafood was good but we preferred Montlake for selection. The scene was happening though so that is a plus. Just be sure to make reservations.“
“We had a reservation and were on time. There were tables available, but we and another couple had to wait. Service could have been better. Waited awhile before our server came. We were ready to order but had to wait about 10 minutes to do so. The 3 men sitting behind us were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. All they were doing was drinking. Maybe they should have been seated in the bar area?“
“We are touring the states from the UK for our two year wedding anniversary and are big foodies! Jarvis and Chasity were absolutely amazing - it was our 2 year wedding anniversary celebration and they made it such a memorable night for us - to top it off the food and drinks were absolutely amazing. I asked Jarvis to surprise me with a sweet cocktail option (which most waiters usually get wrong) but Jarvis did not miss a beat the drink was fantastic. The portions were definitely worth the price you pay and the service was warm from the moment we stepped in. I would highly recommend the sea bass, lobster mashed potatoes, the cheesy potatoes au gratin and the New York strip. Everything was cooked to absolute perfection!! Highly recommend ! As it was our anniversary we were treated to a special treat to top it all off.“
“This was our second time in for a date night and from the moment we walked through the door the hospitality was top notch. From the hosts/hostess, to floor managers, our great server April, and everyone in between. I would say I was in awe that the restaurant flowed so seamlessly as we never had an empty glass, our food came at a great pace and above all else the dishes were delicious. A huge compliment to FOH and BOH, thank you for such a great experience.Parking: I would definitely Valet.“
“I recently dined at Pappasito’s Cantina on Lombray and was thoroughly impressed by the impeccable service. Let me say that Edgar Perez (Kitchen Manager) was the greatest. His customer service was top notch. He ensured that my meal was a memorable one, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our satisfaction. I can’t recommend this location enough for a fantastic dining experience.Thank you Edgar“
“The West Village location is super cute and convenient to me. My favorite is the lobster grilled cheese which quite literally melts in your mouth. The staff is friendly, on top of their service, and overall creates a comfortable atmosphere.“
“Great classic steakhouse. Excellent service. The bread and garlic butter service was so delicious!! The bread was so perfect, hot, and soft the garlic butter is pungent, but delicious!Wedge salad, truffle fries, aged ribeye, brussels, and key lime pie. The old fashion was very strong. Food was delicious!“
“First time dining and was very impressed with my experience. My friends and I decided to try a variety of dishes and all were of great quality and taste. Even though we ordered a variety of foods to share, I ordered the lobster linguini and enjoyed it. However, I did not taste that much Parmesan cheese and will certainly request more the next time. Brussel sprouts were good, along with the piping hot pizza bread. My friends thanked me for choosing Ocean Prime as our Saturday night dinner spot (we like to try new restaurants), so we definitely plan to return. Hostesses were very friendly and welcoming.“
“Pappadeaux at DFW is an escape from the chaos of the airport. The food is excellent, and the service is even better! Miguel provided great service, and the manager accommodated my shellfish allergy and made this a 5/5 experience. Highly recommend stopping by if you have time!“
“"Bob's Steak & Chop House is an absolute gem! As a seasoned steak enthusiast who has savored thousands of cuts, I can confidently say that Bob's serves up the best steak I've ever had. Each bite was a symphony of flavor and tenderness, leaving me utterly impressed. And the tuna tartare? A revelation! It was my first time trying it, and I was blown away by its freshness and depth of flavor. Nicholas, my server, was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, guiding me through each dish with expertise and enthusiasm. Bob's Steak & Chop House is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience!. I almost forgot to mention Lori the hostess was so incredibly friendly, and her warmth definitely touched my heart.”“
“Helpful and enthusiastic service in a refined space, if a little bit loud. The steak frites was cooked to perfection (get the bone marrow butter!) and the Brussel sprouts were a surprise hit. Warm red velvet cake with raspberry sorbet is a great way to wrap up the meal.“
“My best friend took me here for my birthday and we had the most wonderful experience! Our server, Tito, was absolutely incredible. He knew the menu inside and out, was so personable, answered any question we had, the list goes on and on—but to sum it up, definitely the best customer service I think I’ve ever been given. There’s not a single thing I’d change about him!Every menu item we had was a hit. Absolutely love the crispy artichokes, the huge caesar salad, the gnocchi which we added chicken to, and the salmon, which I was so excited to eat, I forgot to take a picture. Tito didn’t miss once with his recommendations! He even brought me a delicious brownie with a candle for my birthday.Overall, the vibe and service was wonderful. The valet gentleman were great as well. We decided that Beverly’s is absolutely going on our list of go-to’s!“
“Ok so we go on a trip each year on my lovely bride’s birthday. This year destination was Dallas Tx.Now I have to admit my ignorance at how much water is in or around or very close to this area. So the freshness of the seafood and the abundance of it was lost to myself. So we ate at this wonderful establishment on our last full day in town.We had at this point at every fried option of food you could think of to include chicken, fish, shrimp and was just wanting something fresh that wasn’t fried lol.So we had a lot of places to pick from but most it seem had more friend options than grilled which this being Texas doesn’t surprise me any. But Rex’s was different and you could have it your way.So we headed there. There are 2 locations and we thought we had picked the one closest to us but that was not the case but it turned out to be a great mistake on our part. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed as if we were the most important people in the place all though there were a lot of regulars in the building.Once seated Amber our server came by and indicated that she would be right with us. She came back and took our drink order and explained to us how things worked. She gave us a little cheat sheet with the specials and sides that were on the menu.We could have things our way all we had to do was ask and she would work it out. We got busy looking at the menu and decided to start things off with a shrimp cocktail and a house salad with the dressing on the side. When the prep staff didn’t do that Amber took it back and replaced it as it was intended with no fuss I was impressed. My wife ordered alaskan king crab and she explained what a pound of them would look like and the price. It’s at current market prices. That night it was 65.00 a pound. We got her a pound. I had been wanting to try the Red Snapper and Amber explained the food profile of the fish. Indicated it would be more like a breast of chicken being a little on the drier side that if I wanted something with a little more wet content the red fish would be a better option or I could do a fillet of both. Hmmmmm see my way lol. I went with the snapper with the house sauce. Our daughter with the crab pasta that was filled with lump crab. It was very tasty and yes I tried it.Our friends went with the shrimp salad grilled of course and the hubby went with the scallops which come with 4 of them. But you can order additional ones if you wanted for about 7 dollars each. Love options. Amber had them down without even looking lol.The crab legs and the salad came out first because my wife split my snapper with me.They were exceptional now most time my wife would be upset because they had split the shell but not this time. The guys/gals in the back know what they are doing. The meat in the crab legs was succulent and flavorful. The shrimp salad looked good as did Sharlena’s house salad. As the food started arriving all talking ceased as everyone was yumming over their plates and wanting to taste what was across from each other lol. Like I said I did with everything but the scallops and the shrimp salad. The crawfish hush puppies were great as was the fish.So now for my comments about this place. First don’t let it being in a strip mall fool you. This is just a good as the big fancy restaurant that charges 100+ for the same food. The level of service there rivals any that we received while in Dallas. The fact that you can pick out the fish you want or leave it up to them is an awesome option. They make a good old fashion which is great too.If you’re ever in town please check Rex’s out. We will be back again even if we are just passing through.Amber thank your for all your knowledge and information you provided. And the level of service you gave. Your teammates were awesome to when they came by as well. Your boss have gems and I just want him to know we are grateful for it.Parking: It’s a strip mall with other places of business it could become difficult during a different time of day when more establishments are open.“
“The appetizers and main course were great. Service was spectacular, Rodrigo, and the manager were very eager to please.. The Greek version of Pailla was delicious. I will definitely go back again.Vegetarian options: Varieties of HummusParking: Covered parking garage.“
“There's new management in town and it's things are looking up! I've been a long time customer with Shell Shack dating back to the McKinney Ave days. I've been to the Dallas, Arlington, Fort Worth, Mesquite, & Plano locations over the years. Over time the quality has fallen off a great deal but yet the prices steadily increase. I've opted to not frequent as much because I don't want a bag of butter with little to no seasonings and flavor, or missing items, or mediocre service. This past Monday, my daughter was out of school and asked to go since we hadn't been in a while. We went. Upon pulling into the parking lot, I saw a gentleman, whom I later found out was the new manager Nigel, running out behind someone who appeared to may have left something. Once we parked and walked in to be seated, we were greeted and seated by Nigel. A few moments later, Nigel came back and took our drink order. When he brought our drinks, I asked if he was the only one working. He explained he was because unfortunately his bartender called in. Despite being the only person out front, his customer service and attentiveness was immaculate. He didn't miss a beat. On top of his service, the food! My goodness I fell in love all over again with Shell Shack! It wasn't a bag full of oil/ butter. I personally like my sauce/Seasoning thick, almost like a mud consistency. It was perfect! It was hot! It was fresh! It was amazing! If Monday's experience is a sign of Nigel's management, I love how things are looking, and I'm certain I'll start back coming around more often again!“
“Nestled in an exquisite location, this steakhouse presents an elegant dining experience that began with a seamless valet service, ensuring parking was the least of our concerns. With a reservation in hand, we were promptly welcomed and seated, our anticipation met with an array of impeccably crafted drinks by our attentive server, whose service was near flawless, though a touch more warmth would have been the cherry on top. :)The culinary journey proceeded with remarkable speed, our second round of delectable drinks accompanying a swiftly served yet astoundingly delicious meal. I indulged in a perfectly cooked steak, while my wife savored a succulent lamb rack, each dish speaking volumes of the chef’s mastery. The evening reached its zenith with a complimentary chocolate cake and champagne, a gesture that transformed our anniversary dinner into a truly memorable celebration. For those in pursuit of culinary excellence,I wholeheartedly recommend this steakhouse.Parking: Finding the restaurant was a bit of a challenge at night, nestled as it is in the shopping center, but discovering it was absolutely worth the effort.Wheelchair accessibility: It’s wheelchair accessible, making it welcoming for everyone.“
“Excellent atmosphere, nice and quiet, warm lighting. I had the citrus beef, which was delicious. My wife really enjoyed the yellow curry w chicken, and my daughter enjoyed the pad Thai. The place wasn't busy at all, which is probably why it was quiet, but that also meant that our service was very prompt. There was a bit of a language barrier, but our waitress was patient and kind as we worked that out.“
“We started ordering our dinner when the waitress started farting. She stopped writing our order down and just stared at the ceiling. I look over at my wife in amazement! 10 seconds into her fart I tried to continue my order. At this point, her fart was so loud I had to yell my order, for her to hear it. 30 seconds later, when she was finished farting, she pointed out the dangers of holding in farts.. a bad attitude, gingivitis and even ingrown toe nails! Thank you so much!! Also, the steak was amazing but the restaurant smells like boiled onions and garbage….5 stars. Good first date place.“
“Clean establishment. You can smell the delicious seafood as soon as you walk in the door. The atmosphere is awesome, reminds me of a fish market/ Uncle who cooks good fish nook. The decor was cool, made me feel at home and welcomed. Great selection of meals, and the Gentleman at the register greeted me with a smile. Stop buy for Some HOT FISH!!! This is a Hidden Gym For real!“
“Enjoyed another excellent meal courtesy of Gorji and team last evening. The atmosphere is great; dim with candles and interesting music from Latin to French and everything in between. The wine list is incredible and tweaked often by Gorji who writes his own personal notes on the menu to assist in selection. Loved ours so much we took a bottle home.We had the sea bass and filet, grapefruit and prosciutto salads and ice cream and kefir with coffee. However, we’ve tried just about everything on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is always impeccable and Gorji and team are most gracious hosts, greeting you upon arrival and seeing you off at the end of the meal. In a way you are their guest. The food is expertly, creatively, and I imagine lovingly prepared. Please be aware, it is not a place for children. Cell phone use is prohibited (love this). It is small with 5 tables. Parking is tight even though he has several reserved places. Plan ahead and/or take an Uber. The parking lot also has a golf cart shuttle. Don’t plan on ordering soft drinks or beer. It’s not that sort of place. Review the offerings in advance which are absolutely incredible and special in every way. I can’t imagine anyone would be disappointed, yet it may not be for everyone. This establishment is incredibly unique and very special. Truly a treasure of Dallas/Addison. If you have not visited Gorji you should put it on your to-do list. Then make your reservation and enjoy some of the best food our area has to offer (evidenced by his many awards). And, no tipping.“
“This is a must dine at for anyone in Dallas. I've gone to this restaurant for probably three decades, most every time I'm in Dallas, as it's a family favorite. It still has its magic in service, environment, menu, and of course food.Enchantingly beautiful at night time or day time.Well-run restaurant that never fails in my experiences with them over time.Parking: I always manage to find easy street parking here, consistently through the years.Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly, kids included, where inclusion just seems to be natural to the restaurant's culture and operations.Wheelchair accessibility: PLENTY of space to navigate a wheelchair, and an ever-present and -aware staff who make everyone feel special and comfortable.“
“5 stars across the board! Great food selection and great workers . The cashier was able to provide great recommendations! The cook (possibly the owner ) made sure we were pleased with our selections !. Food came out in a timely manner . Overall great customer service from the entire staff.“
“Everything was great, the food was delicious, the room was busy but not loud allowing for privacy, wait staff was attentive. If pushed the only "bad" thing IMO only was the butter was too cold for spreading without tearing up your bread! I definitely recommend you visit at least once to enjoy for yourself.“
“We had an early dinner here today and had a wonderful experience. The customer service was fantastic!! Everyone who worked there was so friendly and hospitable. Our server Panda was excellent, and took very good care of us. We had the gumbo to start which was wonderful. We then had the Pan seared halibut and the cheeseburger which both were delicious. We ended with the smores pie and creme brulee, which were both so yummy!! Overall a great experience, and we will definitely be back!!“
“We went here for a girl's dinner to celebrate my friend's upcoming baby and this was fanatic. The price point can't be beat and the service was stellar. We loved the ceviche and Mac and cheese. The steaks were cooked to perfection. They even provided fun drinks for the non drinkers. The space is beautifully decorated and this is a great spot to enjoy an affordable steak with great ambiance.“
“Consistently good service and great food. I have been to this location numerous times and overall it is always an enjoyable visit. We started our meal with the calamari appetizer. Calamari is well cooked and the dips it is accompanied by complement the flavors well. For my meal I had the salmon entree with crawfish tails and shrimp. The sauce this entree comes with is the star of the dish. The salmon was cooked well, but the portion size seemed off and smaller than a normal entree at most locations. The green beans side is fairly bland, unless you mix with the sauce on the plate. Service was on point and I never had to wait for a drink. Great spot to grab a bite before a flight. Highly recommend!“
“The food here is consistently wonderful. The service is hit or miss. Tonight the service was "tag team" style and our waiter was great but his backup left us hanging on the drink request. We understand, we are just glad the wait staff showed up in this day and age. Thank you guys. Not to fear, our waiter made it right.End result: always a good dining experience.“
“Pappadeaux’s is absolutely delicious! I tried their fried alligator and it was so tender and so good! I tried The Alexander it comes with salmon, scallops and crawfish and it was just just top tier! I’m going back here several times when I return to Texas, because it was amazing!“
“This was our first visit, we had guacamole appetizer, enchiladas Verdes and enchiladas de Camaron. The food was absolutely delicious, the chips were warm perfection, the salsas, both red and green, were the best I've eaten. Juan, our server, gave us terrific service. ?“
“The difference in dining these days is summed up in one word: service. In DFW, there are a multitude of good restaurants. Places with good food and a solid selection of wines with enough variety and quality to solve most dining requirements. Last night, we were in downtown for Morton's for example. Great name and very good dinner.....Tonight, we visited Nelson's. Dollar for dollar; dish for dish; service for service... we prefer Nelson's.Bryan and his team, although running short-handed, made it a perfect evening. His selection of Scotch is, for my taste, perfect! The wine list, though short, is full of tremendous options. (We are fond of Washington wines and thus were tickled to see the 9 Hats as on option!) Since they were running bit short staffed, we took time at the bar for a wine before getting seated. Well laid out and fun. When we were seated, Anna took care of us in every way imaginable. He knowledge of the menu was impeccable as were her suggestions for dinner. The deviled eggs are a great mixture of sweet and savory. The bacon wrapped shrimp are flavorful and dynamic. The crab cakes were cooked to crusty perfection. The 44 Farms ribeye exceeded my expectations and the spring mix salad was FANTASTIC! The serrano vinaigrette is worth the trip. My wife's red snapper was superlative.Quit overthinking it. Go. Eat. Enjoy.“
“Total satisfaction! The hubby and I ordered the crab daddy feast to share and it was a ton of food and absolutely delicious! The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I’ll have to say the best part of our experience was our server, Mary!! What awesome customer service!! She was so pleasant and attentive and her smile is contagious. She made us feel so welcome. Thanks for such a lovely experience!!“
“Sorry I didn't take pictures. This place is a must. Service is fresh... made to order, so if you don't mind waiting, you will not be disappointed. I believe on Monday's Catfish & More is closed. I took recommendations from my best friend's nephew, and he's a foodie, so I just knew it was going to be worth it.“
“Solo traveller, and not a seafood lover. I do like some fish, so I went for the blackened catfish, with buttered carrots as the side. The catfish was outstanding and the carrots were nicely cooked.Had a Creme Brulee for dessert. Also very good. The only downside was I had a margarita that was very expensive and bland. I would definitely skip that in the future.“
“If you enjoy seafood, make your way to Montlake Cut. Always fresh fish on the menu and several choices. Arguably the best seafood restaurant in Dallas. Great appetizers and salads, and options if you do not want seafood. Can be a little noisy around the bar, seating towards the rear will be just a little quieter. Fish taco's are always superb and whole roasted branzino was decision. French Fries among the best in the city, but corn, brussel sprouts are also outstanding. Worth the drive. Suggest you make a reservation. This restaurant fills up quickly - on the early side.“
“My husband and I moved to Dallas from NJ about 2 years ago and we've been looking for an authentic Greek restaurant. We have finally found it ? everything was delicious, the Pita was warm and fresh, the spinach pie, Mousaka was full of flavors. I can go on and on, just come. I'm a picky eater, trust me when I say it's good.“
“Whiskers is the epitome of "hole in the wall". But I'll go as far as saying this, they have the best catfish in all of dfw. Food is always fresh, they give you a little more than what you buy. Their seasoning on the fish and color are perfect! We've never had a bad batch! No lies told....go see for yourself.“
“I was first attracted to this place by the Smell it was amazingly enticing. So my brother and I came back to try it out. I tried this samosas, and he got the naan and hummus, Both were delicious. For the main course I got one of the chef specials, The lobster and shrimp, coconut curry. It was freaking amazing. Seriously, you could just bury me. I’m done. I can’t wait to come back and try more delicious dishes here.“
