I ordered a plate that came with catfish, bang bang shrimp, and etoufee, and my husband ordered a shrimp po boy. I also ordered a cup of gumbo side. Everything was cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to return soon and bring friends. We also tried the free frozen Hurricane and it was okay. I prefer drinks on the rocks, but my husband enjoyed it. Great food and service!“

“First time here. We walked right in and was seated. Atmosphere was nice. Football on the TV's. We got to watch Texas play. We ordered charbroiled oysters as appetizers. Our oysters came out before we even received our drinks. Waitress was moving slow. The oysters were really good. Must try. Then we ordered. Salmon,shrimp with dirty rice and the Grilled Catfish with red beans and rice. Everything came out hot and fresh. The waitress was not as attentive because they sat a party of 16-20 down in her area after us. We will be back to try more oysters. We will be back but will sit at the bar area.“

The chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, while the beef sausages added a delightful savory touch. To top it off, the owner was kind enough to give me a free soda with my meal, which was a nice touch. “Listen when I tell yall don't walk but run to this place that's exactly what I mean. First of all, I'm from Louisiana so I KNOW GOOD SEAFOOD....period! I found this place on Google. Reviews usually don't lie. This place had 4.8 stars with outstanding reviews and its black owned so I gave it a shot. The customer service is servicing yall. The ladies that worked at the time were so welcoming and kind yet very humble. Gave me very much Louisiana feels. I ordered the 2pc filled with 3 shrimp. THE FISH gave everything it was supposed to and then some. The way my taste buds danced in my mouth while eating that I was in heaven yall. The fries were so crispy and I can't tell what she sprinkled on them but it was some kind of fairy dust that tasted amazing. The pickles have a jalapeño kick to them that just sets it off. And I'm not a huge shrimp person but them babies hit too. Long story short check this place out ASAP.“

“We found this place on a TikTok video after searching for “bottomless mimosas” and they came up three times back to back on my feed so we had to go see what it was about and man we can’t wait to go back! They were playing some good jams the dj was great the whole staff was vibing just a great atmosphere overall! Eating and vibing!!! I had the buckys chicken and waffle tower which was a very good size plate at such a great price! we def recommend going with a group of friends!“

“Very impressive for an airport restaurant. Generally speaking, food and service are similar to their regular restaurant locations which seems to never be the case with airport restaurants. They have gone out of their way to keep a solid menu and a full bar as well as the feel of a restaurant that is a luxurious escape from the hustle and bustle upstairs. Highly recommended.“

“Fantastic local bar and restaurant. They serve the best fried shrimp in Dallas. All of the food is very good. Lenny is one of the owners and he really wants his customers to have a great experience at Shuck'n Jive. The regulars are friendly. The atmosphere reminds me of "Cheers." Bill is a long-time server and a true professional. David is a bartender and worked at Pappadeaus for over 17 years. Just a wonderful guy. And Shuck'n Jive is also an excellent sports bar as well. “The service was impeccable from the time we hit the door until we left. The music was the best of the 90s and 2000s r&b. Hurricane drinks were $8. Margaritas $5. Certain shots $5. They did a raffle that they do on Saturday nights and I won a 65in Samsung tv!!!!! The dj gave a shout out to my sister, the birthday girl. The food was on point!! We loved the charbroiled oysters for sure. Also the garlic butter sauce was a good choice. We will definitely be returning!!! Nothing but good vibes!“
