Cajun Restaurants near Mesquite, TX

“Tessie Jo was our waitress. She was very attentive, organized and fun!! She is very respectful. Food was hot and service was excellent!!“

“The food is so delicious. The owner and cook is so friendly. She sat and talked to us for a bit and was cool. The frozen daiquiri’s are awesome. I got the All American and my boyfriend got the South Dallas. They were both very tasty. I got fried fish, wings and fries. My boyfriend got shrimp Po’boy and cabbage. So Yummy. 😋 stop by and check this place out. It’s a great place. It’s decorated so nice.“

“The food was good, the price fair, the service minimal ok. What was unacceptable was the BLARING VULGAR PROFANITY laced rap music, and the cars stacking up around the drive socializing and smoking pot so that you couldn't park, or even drive around to find a place to park. I brought it to the managers attention and he just became argumentative, and said this is what his customers want. No problem, we won't be back.“

“Very cute place with outrageously good food, ample portions, EXTREMELY reasonable prices, and great employees!“

“I was in the area and I wanted some Mexican food so found out El Fenix was not there, so I seen The Hen House and I stopped by. I was not disappointed, the fish had so much flavor also the Mac & cheese fried nuggets were good. Most definitely bringing La Familia to try it out. Thank you Kay for being so nice and the other gentleman for going around to ask if I needed anything. I am really big on customer service and I give this place 5 stars. Thanks again for your hospitality!!“
