“I had a craving for fish and decided to check out catfish house since it is local to us. We’ve passed by the place for two years since living in the area and I’m so glad we stopped by. The food did not disappoint. My husband and I enjoyed our meals. We each ordered a catfish and shrimp basket with salad and coleslaw. The food was fresh to order and delicious. I took my banana pudding to go and enjoyed it at home. Customer service was great. We will definitely be back.“
“Food quality here is great and typically large in size. However, I ordered to-go for my birthday on the 15th and did not receive my two corns. Normally i’d understand, but I ordered my sides (corn, potatoes, sausage) separately from my seafood in butter sauce and they gave me the potatoes and sausage…so like that made no sense. Boudin balls usually come with two sauces recently but we were only given one. They also could not find my order because I accidentally ordered off of this email and it doesn’t say my real name, but the card I purchased with does. So even though that was mainly fault, I just thought it was a glitch or something rather than on my end, initially since they told my sister that no order was placed.“

“Got the fish with the shrimp and I must say the food was A1. This is not a fast food joint. You gone wait for your food. But it’s definitely worth it. Kinda expensive but what’s not high these days with inflation. But you get what you pay for. I order a 2 piece and couldn’t even eat it all. Sat in my car and ate it due to be from across town and I wanted to eat it fresh. If I’m ever on this side of town again with my wife I’ll def stop by. Just hate we can’t dine in. Other than that I recommend“

“During my lunch break, I decided to check this place out. This place is across the street from a high school. I said if there are a lot of teens in here , the food will most likely will be good.I walked in and there were quite a few teens. I asked a group of boys if the chicken is good, they all immediately replied yes.The chicken, fries was seasoned very well and fresh. I went back after work to take dinner home for my family. I would recommend.“

“We love coming here as a group to have conversations, catch up with each other, etc. Good is always great. On Thursdays now they have Music Bingo. Unfortunately, it gets so loud between the emcee and the music, we couldn't hear other talk at all. We were in the lower area but that didn't save us. We'll need to find another place to eat on Thursday nights.“
“Catfish and shrimp platter is always amazing along with other food options on the menu but the only reason I give them 4 stars is because the gumbo is absolutely horrible! I hope they find another gumbo recipe and soon!! Service is always great.“
“Eating here is an absolute pleasure. I came with friends, and we had the shrimp etouffee, seafood combo basket, fried chicken basket, and the beignets. The portions were huge and filling, and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. The shrimp etouffee was rich, well spiced, and generous with the shrimp; the fried baskets were fresh and not greasy; and the beignets were fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. You can really tell that the awesome chef/owner has spent almost half of his life in New Orleans from how it tastes. It's really properly home cooked food, and was well worth the drive from UTD. I highly recommend anyone looking for proper authentic Cajun food go here.“

“Called here on Sunday and the answering machine said they have brunch on Sundays. Drove 2hrs to go here to take my friend for her birthday. We got there and not a brunch in sight. We sat in the parking lot for two hours and after being in line only to realize we bought tickets for the wrong date. They were very nice at the door. They refunded the tickets at the door. We enjoyed the vibe. We were disappointed that the menu was nothing like what we looked at online. I forgot to close my ticket out so I went back and was told that my waitress had closed it out.“
“I have eaten here twice with my family and both times were a great experience. The food was delicious and well portioned and the cook Jose was super friendly and definitely had our food on point. I highly recommend this restaurant. We had the shrimp boil, crab legs, fries and turkey leg with shrimp and dirty rice. EXCELLENT!“
“Met some friends here for dinner. The 4 of us got the sack #9 and we ate till we couldn't possibly eat any more. It was an amazing amount of food.My favorites were the lobster tails, and the sausage... But that's not to say that everything that arrived at our table wasn't absolutely top notch. The seasoning and spice level was perfect in my opinion.The staff was very attentive with checking on us and refilling our drinks. The atmosphere was pretty chill. The bathrooms were clean. After we were finished we set at the bar for a few drinks and the servers were more than accommodating.I absolutely would recommend and if I'm ever in Addison again I'm definitely stopping here.“
“Completely amazing. Our server was David he served me and my grandfather the night we came. We ordered a crawfish, shrimp, potato, corn, and crab bowl and he warned us that the amount of food would have been a lot which was good because we wouldn’t have been able to eat 2 bowls if we ordered separately. He engaged in conversation with us and all in all was actually a pretty cool guy. He stopped by our table like 50 times? which was good because he was making sure we didn’t need anything. Definitely one of my favorite servers in my life and I’ve been to some top need places. He’s what I feel the ideal server should be. Food was exquisite and you know it was good cause me and my grandfather ain’t say a word the whole time we ate beside the occasional *grunt* and nod of our heads to signal that the food was great. “I wanted a Fried Turkey for Thanksgiving and they came in the clutch. I didn't want to reheat in oven in fear of dryness, but I had no choice and I was more than happy with the results. I picked up the Turkey from the location had a line but I was in and out in 5-10 minutes.“
