“I wanted a Fried Turkey for Thanksgiving and they came in the clutch. I didn't want to reheat in oven in fear of dryness, but I had no choice and I was more than happy with the results. I picked up the Turkey from the location had a line but I was in and out in 5-10 minutes.“

“Food:
We tried the sweet potato fries, Cajun fries, calamari, and the shrimp combo. The sweet potato fries were fantastic, while the Cajun fries were just okay. The calamari is a must-get—crispy with perfect seasoning. The shrimp combo, Kickin style at mild heat, was delicious. For those who can’t handle spice, mild is the way to go, with a spicier sauce on the side for anyone who prefers more heat. The garlic butter sauce was phenomenal and highly recommended. The combo also included potatoes, corn, and sausage, and I found that shrimp offers the best value compared to other proteins. Overall, I’d give the food a solid 4/5.
Service:
Service can be inconsistent. In previous visits, I’ve had to re-request items, which was frustrating, especially when it’s busy. However, this time the service was much improved. We received everything promptly and didn’t have to ask twice. I’d rate the service a 3/5—it really depends on when you visit.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is pretty standard for a seafood boil restaurant. Nothing remarkable, but it’s comfortable and casual, fitting for a laid-back meal.
Parking: The Carrollton Kickin Crab is my go-to location, but parking is a challenge, especially on weekends. The plaza is always packed Friday through Saturday, so try to visit between Monday and Thursday for easier parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really wheelchair accessible, don’t see a spot for a wheelchair.“

“Tried the boil for the first time. The portions were smaller than what I'm used to, but the overall flavor was good. I wish I would have tried a hotter spice as it was too mild for my liking. The service was pleasant and friendly, but not over the top. We came around 1p and had our pick of seats. Parking was easy and the place was very clean.“

“This is truly a hidden gem. Located well off the beaten path because we had to find the small elevator in the DFW airport to even get to the place. And we did so entirely out of luck... and we were not disappointed!
You are instantly transported into the mix of a roomy, jazz-inspired, luxury "cruise ship" atmosphere - mixed with an ever-so-slight touch of steam punk fine restaurant.
The seafood selections in the menu are varied enough to please ever seafood-foodies. The flavorful bar selection was perfect!
My shrimp po-boy sandwich was plentiful, as well as my son's calamari. Service, food temperature, and atmosphere were perfect. We were there just for lunch. Oh, and the sautéed spinach was definitely perfectly tender and terrific! A winner. I almost ordered more, but I was full. So, no dessert ?.
It is a place I'd recommend for an hour of dining pleasure. Again, it is definitely way different than the quickie meal chains, which have their place indeed, but this is a relax, sit down dining experience I'd expect not to located in airport.
Update: we HAD to go a second time a week later when, again, flying through the area. This time, we only had time appetizers. I had the crab and shrimp (w/garlic bread) dish, and it was fresh and tasty!! It's definitely a winner!
I even was fortunate enough to have ridden the elevator with delightful Kaliah, one of the shift managers.
Enjoy!!“

“Our server was attentive and friendly. The spinach and artichoke dip appetizer came quickly and was cheesy and hot. Our entrees (bayou pasta and catfish atchafalaya) were amazing. Drinks were reasonably priced. The atmosphere is casual and crowd was diverse. We really enjoyed the overall experience.“

“We love fresh good raw oysters and they always deliver in season along with everything else on the menu. Never had a bad experience, which is amazing! Service and cocktails are constantly good. It still remains one of my favorite seafood restaurants in the area. Celebrated our anniversary there today for lunch. Thank you Blythe and Isaac at the bar in Grapevine, TX“

“The staff were friendly and they were letting us try a number of samples. The food was good and filling. We got one plate for the both of us to share. Their rice with beans is good. They did charge an extra $1 or so for extra meat. I do have to say it’s kinda sweet and oily though. The mango drink tasted like the Jumex Mango Nectar.“

“For the money, this place is really good. We especially like the oyster nachos. Get them on Wednesdays when they are $3 cheaper than normal. Happy hour specials are good too with several food options at or below $8, like the shrimp nachos which are big and filling.“
“We saw The Spazmatics here and had a BLAST!!! My fiancé Jake (see his talents in the video lol) is a professional musician and we've talked about getting his band to this place, it would be a really fun gig!! I suggest you get a VIP table so you can sit and eat and drink, but even without it's super fun and a real party atmosphere! Definitely invites people to mix and mingle which is so our thing LOL!! Just a fun fun time!!“

“Food was alright. Decent for airport food. Got the pulled pork 1 meat plate with coleslaw and Texas street corn. Pulled pork was a little fatty and lacked some texture for my liking. That being said I did wolf the whole plate down like a ravenous mountain goat. People are friendly and super fast “

“They were cool. Only thing I didn’t like was that they add their own tip to your bill. And maybe I don’t understand the new way or customs or something, but I guess a little from everyone is better than a lot from a few. I just like giving my own tips and not feeling like I’m obligated to. The percent of the tip was way smaller than the amount my daughter snuck her anyway.“
