Friendliest, sweetest and funniest ladies running the restaurant and the food was out of this world. Red beans and rice, potato salad, catfish, shrimp and crawfish and they have Abita Root Beer to wash it all down. Bayou market couldn’t have been better if they tried. I will be coming back again and again! Loved it.
Been living in Lewisville for about a year and have tried a couple different seafood places when I'm missing home back in Louisiana. This was the first place I found that makes poboys like back home. Flakey/crusty bread, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mayo. That's all that's needed. I'm not saying other places aren't good but it's just too fancy for me with all the extras flavors they add. Just about everything was hitting when I went here recently and I plan to go back. We got the fried catfish, shrimp, gumbo, red beans and rice, Cajun fries and my boyfriend got a poboy. The catfish was only a little less seasoned than I'd have liked but other than that SO good!! The cashier was super nice too. Yall keep it up!
