The only place in the area with great crawfish and pretty good catfish!
Just came for the first time and wish we hadn’t waited so long. Melinda our waitress was AMAZING. Food was excellent!!!!! Cannot wait to return.
We love the food, and the atmosphere in the new building is better, and it’s much bigger! When we went to the new location the first time a few wks ago it was a Friday night and it was not busy AT ALL and we hoped that they would be successful. We went back Friday 1/9 and it was CRAZY BUSY and we had to wait for table, wait for service, wait for food….so good for them (and guess we brought that upon ourselves, lol). Mudbugs Bar & Grill continues to offer exceptional Cajun cuisine with a strong focus on seafood. The bread pudding remains a must-try, while the crawfish and catfish atchafalaya dishes are still standouts. Recent guests have praised the super awesome crawfish, which comes with serious spice, and the potatoes are noted as amazing. The beignets, crispy on the outside and soft inside, are served hot with powdered sugar and continue to impress.
In addition to the food, the restaurant's service is appreciated, making it a great spot for a meal. Customers have enjoyed dishes like crab cakes in corn and onion savory sauce, along with shrimp tacos featuring both grilled and blackened shrimp, served with a special sauce that has been described as dream-worthy.
