Crawfish was undercooked and lots of dead crawfish i got 5 pounds crawfish & 8% of them was dead before cooking they had a bad

Best crawfish in the area! Shrimp & corn chowder plus the bread pudding are not to be missed! My girls love the fried gator as well. Always a treat eating and Mudbugs.

Food is of goodCustomer service is notI frequent this place for it's boudin burger and gumbo..No issues with quality of foodI do have issues with quantity and personality of the staff.I never like sitting in the bar area and seldom do the Hosts offer good customer service..I don't want my azz kissed my I certainly feel there should be some sort of respect to anybody who visits you establishment

I ordered the snow crab special and it was absolutely disgusted. I took a bite of the potatoes and they were hard and not cooked. The food was cold and did not have any flavor.. I am so disappointed and upset that I wasted $32 dollars on this. I will not be returning back to Mudbug!

My husband and I went to Mudbugs Bar & Grill to have dinner. As we were entering the door, a white male with a beard stopped us and stated “Imma have to stop you right there. Back up!”. As we stepped back, he then stated “We’re full and there’s a wait. How many in your party? It’ll be a 35 minute wait”. My husband told him no thanks and we left. We never entered the restaurant or even had a chance to taste the food. My husband spoke to the manager and explained to her what happened. We doubt anything will be done for his unprofessional conduct since there’s others who have left reviews about the same person. I mean, who does this guy thinks he is? A bouncer? That’s what it seemed like for us when we tried to enter the business. The owner should FIRE this guy, he’s ruining this company’s reputation. I NEVER want to go back there. Please take your hard earned money elsewhere to eat.

My wife and I decided to eat at Mudbugs Bar & Grill on a Friday afternoon. We’ve lived in the area for years and have never been. Reviews seemed good for the food and we decided to try it for the first time. When we saw people waiting outside, we expected to wait. As I open the door for my wife to go inside, a heavier set white male with a beard stepped in front of us and stated “I’mma need to stop you right there. Back up!”. At the moment, we were thinking something was happening inside. Once we step back outside, the male stated “We’re full and there’s a wait. How many in your party? It’ll be a 35 minute wait”. At this point, my wife and I look at each other and say no thanks. I called the restaurant’s main number and spoke to the manager Stephanie to explain what happened. She apologized and agreed that the employee was disrespectful. I hope the owner sees this post and takes corrective action on said employee. He was unprofessional, disrespectful, and has damaged this restaurant’s reputation. No one should be treated like that, truly uncalled for.

Ordered Crawfish, only option was 3 or 5 pounds. Had 3 pounds. Came out warm, and half where dead and cooked. I know not to cook dead crawfish. Tray was so small it couldn't have been 3 pounds. I will say the waitress was great.
Would not be able to tell you what the food taste like because we didn’t have a chance to eat. The two gentlemen that were servers complained when we walked in that they were overwhelmed and didn’t have help. While we were waiting to put our name on a waitlist one gentleman was taking a takeout order and was rushing the woman to order, when she delayed to think about her kids order he said “when you get yourself together I’ll be back” that’s when we left. Heard great things about this place but probably will only order delivery.

Mud Bugs is a place that I use to frequent. I’ve had a couple of unpleasant experiences. I really enjoyed the food, especially the crawfish. I normally order 20 lbs at a time along with other food for my family. I recently called to verify that crawfish were available. I was advised that they had crawfish. I then went to the restaurant. I was seated by a friendly young lady that was very attentive. She took my order for 3lbs of crawfish. Later the Owner Dawn came to my table and ask if there was anything she could get for me. I then ordered 3 more lbs. she said okay. About 2 minutes later the waitress came to my table to tell me that the owner "he" the man owner says that he was limiting crawfish to 3 lbs per person. However, he was engaging in a conversation with a table stating that he was glad they were there. They had been there for a while eating crawfish. I am sure they had there 3 lbs and more. I have been going to Mud Bugs for years. Last year I waited an hour, and was there prior to closing only to be told that they were closing and we could not seated us per Dallas. I am saddened to say that I,my friends,or family will not be returning customers.
