“We came to Bourbon Street Bar and Grill expecting the amazing food everyone online raved about… but what a nightmare. The crabs were nearly impossible to eat because there weren’t enough shell breakers, the bread was ice cold, and everything literally tasted like mud. We have photos to prove it—this was not just disappointing, it was disgusting. We heard so much hype, but this was our first and last visit. Honestly, a refund or compensation feels appropriate given how bad this meal was.“

While there may be a lot of options in the area, there are incredibly few as good as this spot. It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for food, drank, or vibe - THIS is the spot you looking for!
I’m not from New Orleans, but I visit several times a year and it is my favorite place to go!
I would say that SCDF is quite authentic. They have karaoke nights, live music, and other events. They even had Eggnog daiquiri flavor during the most recent holiday season.

“Came for the crawfish and left with a full, happy belly! The sauce was spicy and garlicky and they gave extra sauce on the side. Frozen crawfish were HUGE and tasted fresh. Fries were good and cooked to order as well. The best, low key mom and pops shop and will be back for more.(chicken wings were okay though)“

“Tonight we decided to stop in and celebrate my new position with our beloved company as we have both worked there for decades! We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. I’m not a big seafood diner so I had the awesome filet!! She was right! Fabulous it was! We will be returning soon! Thanks for a memorable dinner!!“

“I flew out of A21 Gate at DFW yesterday; another plane flight I didn’t look forward to/ nor dread (as I was flying home to meet my Honey), when what should appear: Pappadeaux! Then I decided to celebrate my successful trip with a fine $30 “airport meal!” Now usually, airport meal of &30 means a hot dog & glass of water (or 99¢ bottle of water marked up to 4.99 and 5$ hot dog marked up to $15 + tip)
But no no no, my friend! Pappadeaux, as good at the airport as out. I’ll show a pic of what a $30 Pappadeaux airport meal looks like.
My server Ethan treated me like visiting royalty, the food was EXACTLY what I needed. Just a salad & appetizer. I chose Caesar salad & a crab Mac & cheese! Do you think I poked around looking for a sliver of crabmeat!? Au contraire, cher! Pappadeaux for the win!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We recently visited the fine town of Arlington for our first time. We came in from your neighboring state of Louisiana. We had heard Papadeaux's was excellent food. When we arrived it was packed. A good sign. Wait was going to be an hour and a half. But I asked the wife if she wanted a drink and we sat at the bar. Immediately Daisy asked in a polite and attentive voice if we needed anything and even said we could eat there at the bar. Which we dont normally do anywhere. But during mine and my wife's time at that bar. It wasn't just the food at Papadeaux's which was excellent. It was the teamwork that the staff behind the bar had. They all worked well together, no arguing no sign of real chaos in them. Just them helping each other and knowing just what to do to help each other. And everyone of them. Stopped to ask and check in on us to make sure our time there was well enjoyed and takin care of in any way possible. My wife says that this restaurant is her most favorite that she has ever been to. And I am inclined to agree. I just wanted to let you know. That the workers behind your bar on 8/9/25. Daisy, Angel, Jade, Willis, Albreesha are forever immortalized in our memories. And we wanted to let you know. That's it was these people that made our experience at Papadeaux's establishment. They are professional, kind, attentive, valuable, lovely people just to be around. “Very good!!! We got a combo and added an extra on of grab with the HAWT GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE and let me tell you… so flavorful and very hot. Prices are cheaper than other places I noticed. My margarita was strong and not too sweet and also very decently priced! Y’all have got to go try this place. Our server was Chloe and she was very attentive and sweet. ❤️10/10 will recommend!“
