“We were a large group of ten and the restaurant did a good job of accommodating us. The food was delicious and authentic Cajun. The waitress was very attentive. There is lots of fun decor in the restaurant. The jazz music was a little loud after a while but also kept the atmosphere energetic and still allowed for conversation of those close by.“

“My family and I went here for out monthly outing. As soon as they opened at noon we were ready to eat. The seafood was good and fresh. The only thing that wasn't great was my daughter asking for a side of white rice. It was stiff and not fresh looking. Maybe thats the way it should be, but didn't look good. We spent around $575 between 5 of us. And yes we order almost everything they offered. I highly recommend this place. Great selection!“
“Def give this place a shot! I didn’t get to try their famous pasta but their crab and shrimp platter was fantastically full of flavor. No skimping on the crab either like some other seafood spots. It’s a lively atmosphere if you dine in with some good tunes playing- old school R&b. Take out can take a bit of time so order ahead or plan on having a drink at the bar..it’s def fun. Buying a Tejun’s tumbler was a comparable amount and she said it is refillable so an awesome deal, too!! “Every time we travel for my son’s athletic events, we looks for local restaurants and found this one. This place didn’t disappoint. The fried shrimp was cooked perfectly. The gumbo was amazing. The red beans and rice were top 3 all time. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I really don’t do reviews, but I had to do one this time.. Food was delicious, but what really made my day was the cashier. Since I walked in the cashier had a smile and I felt welcome. She was very nice and very helpful as it was my first time coming in. I’ve been to other restaurants and now days it’s hard to find someone with a welcoming personality. Definitely will recommend to my friends and family and I’ll be coming back next time I work in this area.“

Being a married couple who has been here before perception can hurt your tip. Yes, we are and have been an interracial couple for almost 25 years. Waitress assumed two checks at the table and did not fix. Gave us two checks both times even after my wide told her we were together and married. This is not satisfactory service. We left a little peeved with our waitress.“
“Orchid city has always been my go to spot ever since I attended classes across the street from 2013 and quality had never changed. If anything it’s been more flavorful lately. The workers are super sweet and the owners Mary and Tai always take care of us. My favorites are crawfish, crawfish fried rice, sizzling beef plate, gumbo and fried mozzarella sticks.
