Based on the reviews, Shuck Me Kitchen & Cantina is a hidden gem in the Southlake area, much larger than it looks. It is a really cool place with a casual vibe and tons of cool decor to look at and enjoy. The food is always delicious, with lots of options from shrimp to burgers to fajitas. Great kids menu options are available, including chicken tenders. The seafood boil is delicious, and the Bang Bang Shrimp is perfectly fried—light, crisp, never greasy—with a sweet heat from that creamy bang bang sauce. The Thursday All-You-Can-Eat Catfish Special is flaky and tender. Other favorites are the wings, shrimp & grits, and fried catfish with fries and hush puppies. The blackened chicken Alfredo was great, with no mushrooms. The chicken tenders, fries, and shrimp cocktail were also good. The fish is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right, with generous portions. Happy Hour is a budget friendly welcome treat during the week. The boil of shrimp and crab was average, with one little claw, one little potato, and one half a corn. There is plenty of parking.
